The space
We purchased the apartment at the end of 2023 after many years of searching, intending it to serve as our family holiday home and remote work base. This bright, through-the-building apartment meets all our wishes. You can find more details on the Vuokatti Basecamp website.

The apartment has an excellent layout on the upper level of a terraced building built on a slope. The entrance is at street level, and there are no adjacent neighbors sharing walls.

Spaces and Amenities

The apartment features a bright open-plan area combining the kitchen, dining space, and living room. The living area includes a sofa bed, an adjustable work desk, and a fireplace. We enjoy cooking, so in addition to a modern induction stove and a spacious oven, the kitchen is well-equipped with quality cookware, tableware, serving dishes, and glassware for six people.

There are two bedrooms, both with blackout curtains. One has a double bed, and the other has two single beds. All beds have hotel-quality mattresses, and both rooms offer plenty of closet space.

The spacious bathroom includes a large sauna and a toilet. Additionally, there’s a separate toilet with a washing machine. The entrance hall is roomy and has ample storage space as well as a drying cabinet.

Skis, golf bags, and other sports equipment can be stored in a private outdoor storage unit. There is also a shared space available for ski waxing. Right next to the apartment, there is a water point where you can rinse bikes or muddy shoes—there is a private hose available in the storage unit.

Underfloor heating and a heating air source heat pump provide comfort during winter, and the apartment stays cool in summer thanks to the same pump.

Clean and Pet-Free

It is important to us that the apartment is fresh and truly clean—not just tidy on the surface. A thorough condition inspection was carried out at the end of 2023, confirming the structure and indoor air quality to be healthy. No pets have ever stayed in the apartment, and smoking is not allowed—this includes the balcony.

We are able to keep the rental price affordable in relation to the apartment’s standard by having the guest take care of the final cleaning and bring their own bed linen and towels. If you prefer convenience, you can order final cleaning and linen for an additional fee.

Our home has, among other things, a sauna, wooden floors and a renovated kitchen. You will have access to the entire apartment and the spacious shelves in the hallway dressing room will definitely fit your luggage. 1 bedroom with a 120cm bed and another 120cm bed in the loft. Special features include a bright light lamp and a Kitchen Aid multifunctional machine.
