We are flexible, but check-in should happen before 20:00, because downstairs entrance door is automatically locked 20:00 and after that you can’t get to the apartment door where the key-box is. The key then work with downstairs door when you first get it. Special cases we can come to open the downstairs door.

Linnavuori pururata
The walking path starts at the end of Huhtalevontie (located approx. 1.2km away from the apartment). The path leads to Siuro. Halway through the path there is a footpath, which leads to Lake Ruutana. Along this footpath you can find a resting spot with a firepit for cooking.


Hakavuori
Hakavuori is a geologically interesting cliff, with a great view to Lake Kulovesi and Nokianvirta, located in Siuro. Spread throughout the nature path you can find 19 notice boards with information about the surrounding forest and local species. Examples of the information presented on the notice boards include the ecology of the hazel and the impact of the Southern mountain.
You can find the nature path by turning left from Siurontie to Penttilänmäentie (approx. 4.3km) The nature path begins on the right side of the road.
Penttilänmäentie has limited parking spaces. At the start of the nature path, next to the mailboxes, you can fit two cars. At the Ippilänkatu-end of the nature path you can park your car on the street. When driving around the area, you should avoid driving onto the private properties.


Ruutanan luontopolku
The nature path of Ruutana starts from a car park located at the end of Haukankatu. The easy-to-walk path is approximately 4km of its lenght its total length and it is marked with signs. Along the route you can discover many types of nature, including mm lehtoa ja kangasmetsää. Halfway through the path, at the shore of Lake Ruutana, you can find a firepit. The effects of the ice age can be seen as suurina louhikkoina when climbing the highest spot of Nokia, Ruutanavuori. Huge siirtolohkareita can also be seen around.

Knuutilan lintutorni
At the land owned by the Knuutila mansion (Lukkisalmentie, 37200 Siuro, 3,8 km) you can find a bird-watching tower. At the shore of Lake Kulovesi, a nature path can be found, which you can use to explore the local bird species and the surrounding flora.

Otamus
Along the River Otamusjoki there is a well-kept resting spot for backpackers. They have a cafe, a firepit and many naturepaths of different lengths. You can reach the place both by walking and by boat. The distance from the apartment is approximately 12km.
