The provided food for the breakfast will be enough for 2-3 days, in case of longer stays no additional food will be provided.
In case of last minute bookings, I may not have enough time to leave food for breakfast.

This apartment is a 35 square meter studio, its excellent floor plan, open views and high ceilings makes it feel more spacious. The kitchen and bathroom are modern and fully equipped with high quality equipment and including a dish washer, gas stove, oven and a laundry machine (has integrated dryer) If needed the sofa can well be used for sleeping, by removing the pillows but it is not a bed sofa. The bed is comfortable and new 140 cm double bed. There is a beautiful, old fireplace in the apartment (at the moment it cannot be used). The big windows let in a lot of natural light. There is reliable Wifi available.

PLEASE NOTE: A discount for weekdays is offered, there is an attic and stairway renovation going on in the building, that may cause noise from time to time Monday to Friday between 8-18.

This 35sqm 1-bedroom apartment is located on one of the busiest pub & restaurant streets in the city. The place oozes famous Kallio spirit and though the apartment has been modernized, the building is over 80 years old and the apartment does show its age in some places. Expect to find some loving wear, quaint aging and charming patina.

Good for 1-4 people. The bed is a comfy 140cm wide double bed. Two extra guests can be accomodated on the sofa bed in the same room.

The house is located on the (in)famous bar street of Vaasankatu. Nightly noises from the street can be disturbing and earplugs are recommended for light sleepers who want to sleep with the window open.

1. For reservations of 30 days or longer, a separate cancellation policy applies:

- Guests will receive a full refund if they cancel at least 30 days before the scheduled check-in date.

8. Guest must provide us with a valid working phone number & guests listed on the reservation must report to us within 2 hours from the time of arrival if anything in regards to cleanliness does not meet their standards so we can help address the situation as soon as possible

9. NO SMOKING or use of fire permitted in the rental; guest acknowledges that no "smoking" includes the use of vape pens and marijuana and "use of fire" includes the lighting of candles, incense, or sage. There will be a €200 charge per day of reservation if this rule is not followed

10. There can not be any more than the allowed number of guests in or on the property at any one time, violation could lead to the immediate removal of all guests without a refund

11. Late check-out fee of €50 (if not authorized) applies for check-outs after 11:00 am. We're sorry we have to charge this but we pay our housekeepers based on the agreed-upon checkout time and if they are unable to clean we still have to pay them

12. Guests who make reservations for over 30 days must sign our standard lease agreement and agree to a background check before check-in (it will be provided before check-in)

13. As part of our commitment to maintaining a clean and comfortable environment for all guests, we require a midterm cleaning for reservations lasting 30 days or longer. The midterm cleaning will take place on the 15th day of your reservation. This cleaning is mandatory and is designed to ensure the continued cleanliness and hygiene of the property

14. The cleaning fee for the mandatory mid-stay clean will be deducted from your security deposit

My colourful studio flat, located in the buzzing Kallio district of Helsinki, is overlooking a park and an ice skating ring.

My apartment is great for a couple or a solo traveler. It has a spacious fully equipped kitchen and an extendable dining table. You can also utilize the keyboard, TV and PS4

There's plenty of great restaurants and bars in the area, but it's also very easy to reach the city center or other areas of Helsinki by tram or the subway.

Welcome to the legendary Vaasankatu!

The apartment is centrally located in Kallio, and you can find restaurants and small bars in the neighborhood. Kallio is a cultural and lively neighborhood where you'll be sure to go to every taste.

The flat itself is in an old house, which in terms of its location is vivid, like any house in a central area. However, the condominium is peaceful and the windows of the apartment face the courtyard. The apartment is unique with small “faults”, like all of us. That being said, it meets all the basic needs with showers, kitchens, and even laundry machines.

We provide the visitor with laundry, bedding, and a nut pan coffee and tea. You can store your own food items in the fridge and freezer.

We hope guests will respect the apartment by finally taking trash to the backyard trash, emptying the refrigerator, and doing the dishes.

Welcome to your small 40 sqm apartment in the liveliest area in the heart of Helsinki "Kallio" where the beautiful spirit of Helsinki really shows!

The place is located right in a lively street, 2 mnts away from a supermarket & all transportations except trains, and 10 mnts away from the central station (20 if you choose to walk).

The flat is on 5th floor of the building. with elevator at your disposal and a separate access on the 3rd floor.

The space

In addition to fully equipped kitchen, dishwasher and 65" smart OLED flat screen with Netflix and chromecast to cast content from Youtube or Netflix to TV and ask questions and recommendations by using only your voice.


The flat accommodates up to 3 people in one queen-sized (160 cm) bed and one 120 cm leather sofa bed. and with 40 sqm three people group will find it somewhat spacious.
Clean towels and bed linens (please reach out to provide them) are provided but if you need to do laundry the bathroom has a washing machine and the utilities needed ready for your use.

For guests arriving by car, there are chargeable (4 EUR/h 9-21 on weekdays, 9-18 on Saturdays, and free of charge on Sundays and nights) street parking places in the nearby streets.

Your neighbours will be peace-loving people so please read and follow the house rules so everyone can enjoy their life in the building

Please note that the apartment does not have an elevator and the apartment is compact in size. Comfortable size for two people but with the possibility of four beds.

The cultural house is located opposite the apartment, Kallio's bohemian trend district is just around the corner and Hakaniemi theatres are within walking distance.

Outdoor enthusiasts will not be disappointed either, as the apartment has access to the classic scenery of Töölönlahti in 5 minutes. In addition, Viikki's terrain, for example, is 15 minutes away, and Nuuksio Natural Park can also be reached by public transportation in 30 minutes.

Located on the sixth floor with a spacious balcony and private sauna, this is the perfect place to unwind after a day of site-seeing around Helsinki! In addition to cafes and restaurants, guests have easy access to all forms of transportation.

My newly renovated home offers comfort and privacy for guests during their stay in Helsinki. Stylishly decorated with lots of color and vibrancy, rarely will you find such a cozy and spacious home in central Helsinki/Kallio so close to a major transport hub, with a sauna and large balcony overlooking Helsinginkatu and Kallio church.

Stay in the guestroom of my cozy home where guests are provided a double-bed (120 cm wide) with clean sheets and towel. Guests also have full-range access to my home including a private sauna, sunny balcony terrace and kitchen amenities.

**Guests, please note! This listing is my home which I rent out when I am not in Helsinki. I have decorated the space with lots of my personality, love and care! Books and photos are carefully displayed along shelves in the living room, kitchen and hallways. The guest bedroom has plenty of empty storage space (two full set of closets, a bookshelf and desk). This listing is truly a gem in the best neighborhood (although I'm biased!) -- but do keep in mind -- it is not a minimalist service apartment. If you like being surrounded by colour, books and plants, you will feel right at home here!

**Also, please note there are construction works happening on the main road outside the apartment during the week starting March until June 2025. Because noise levels fluctuate throughout the day, it is impossible to predict how distracting the construction might be. My home is on the sixth floor but it is important to note that drilling sounds can be heard up to the apartment. ** This does *not* affect guests staying during the weekend and during public holidays **

Other things to note
Do you love plants and have a green thumb? My home is full of lush plants that require watering at least once a week (depending on the season). If you are staying for one month or longer, I have set my rent low with the intention of finding a guest who can take on the role of watering my plants.

I do not expect guests staying less than a month to water the plants, although please keep in mind that I will be arranging someone to come by the apartment to take care of the watering. I hope you understand that this is a non-negotiable. Thanks!
