Your private studio apt is 5-minutes from the crystal-clear waters of Georgian Bay and a 15-minute walk to downtown Collingwood, once voted the best place to live in North America because of the many interesting 4-season activities possible. I provide a light continental breakfast for your convenience on your first morning.
The space
Upon arrival, take 7 steps down to your private suite. It has a queen bed on one end of the room and a TV sitting/dining area at the other end. The third person can sleep on the 9' leather sectional. From the big main room is the 3-pc bath and a fully equipped kitchen.
It's a 5 minute walk to lovely Sunset Point park on Georgian Bay. The property is in a mainly family residential area with a ball park and tennis courts across the street and near many walking/cycling trails. You may choose to borrow my bicycles at your own risk or use the bus just about 4 houses away.

Conveniently park your vehicle on the paved driveway, either at the end in front of the garbage bins or right beside the flower garden, far enough to the right so a vehicle can pass by. There's also 2 other spots available if required. There's a space for your canoes or bikes too.
Other things to note
The third guest will be sleeping on the couch which is in the same room as the queen bed. If you are two guests who don't sleep together, bring a sleeping bag for one of you and sleep on the couch. A light continental breakfast will be in the fridge for the first morning. There's always coffee or tea available.

Minutes from skiing, golfing, and of course Georgian Bay. Walk into historic downtown Collingwood for fantastic shopping and restaurants.

Briar Cottage is a 3 bedroom all season home located in Collingwood, an under 2 hour drive from Toronto. Renovated in 2023, by Briar Home, the cottage was thoughtfully designed for our guests to feel right at home. Owned and managed by a mother daughter duo who have been coming the Collingwood/Blue Mountain area for years. Briar Cottage is a result of our passion for interior design and sharing all that this amazing area has to offer with our guests. The cottage shares a common wall with the principal residence on the property, which is occupied by Jessica, all amenities and entrance to the airbnb are private.
LOCATION • Briar Cottage is located in Collingwood, On, a 15-minute walk to the main street. A quick drive to Blue Mountain and many other charming towns. Collingwood has an LCBO, Beer Store, big box grocery stores and artisan grocery markets, restaurants, and locally owned shops.
KITCHEN • Start your day with a morning cappuccino or espresso, sitting on the patio or cozying up on one of the plush lounge chairs. Plenty of counter space, cooking supplies and large fridge with ice maker will make preparing meals a breeze or if you prefer order in from one of the many the fabulous local restaurants.
LIVING SPACE • A large sectional and plenty of additional seating options make for the perfect space to relax with friends or family. The open concept living space features a 55" Smart TV with streaming apps for you to log in and enjoy your favourite content. There is an array of board games & playing cards in the TV console, grab a blanket and get cozy for a night in.
BEDROOMS • The cottage features 3 uniquely designed bedrooms suitable for several sleeping arrangements, including the primary bedroom with king bed and direct access to the hot tub, a room with 2 twin beds, and a cozy bedroom with a double bed. All are outfitted with plush memory foam mattresses and 2 pillow options for a peaceful sleep. Ample closet space and luggage holders are provided.
BATHROOM • An updated 3-piece bathroom with rain shower, and large vanity. Stocked with shampoo, conditioner & body wash, and hair dryer. One set of towels are provided per guest, including bath towel, hand towel, and face towel.
OUTDOOR AREAS • Step out onto the large deck to enjoy the feel of indoor, outdoor living. There is a propane tank BBQ, outdoor dining table, lounge seating, gas and wood burning fire pits, wood burning sauna and hot tub.
EXTRAS • We’ve provided a few complimentary items for use during our guests stay. Sewing kit, iron & board, extra cleaning supplies, toilet paper and more. All of which can be found in the closet across the primary bedroom door. The on-site laundry can be used by guests during your stay, the ironing board and step stool are located beside the laundry machines.
TAKE CARE • Please be respectful of the cottage and treat our home like you would your own. A lot of time and care has gone into creating this space to share with our guests.
While we encourage families keep in mind the space may not be suitable to young children as there is no child-proofing.
We have a sauna and fire pit and provide wood for your stay. Please check the local fire-ban regulations during your stay and adhere to the rules as required. There is also a gas fireplace on the deck for more convenience.

Guests have access to the spacious backyard, there are 2 storage sheds which are off limits. The outdoor amenities are exclusively for guest use. The driveway access is shared however there are plenty of designated parking spots.
