It is no secret that Drummond Island is 'The Gem of the North'. This is truly God's Country. The peace and serenity will have you longing for a return visit to our outdoor paradise.

From the moment you enter our cozy cabin, you'll feel relaxed. The knotty pine, the cozy fireplace, and the log furniture give the cabin it's rustic appeal. Do not be surprised when you look up into the open ceiling and find wildlife mounted on the log beams.

We are located on Potagannising Bay, one of the best fishing areas around. If you bring your boat it can be docked right in front of the property. If you would like to rent a pontoon boat (in town) you can go exploring other Islands, hiking the shoreline, and collecting rocks. We have a large deck overlooking the Bay and a screen in porch for enjoying the views. It's all up to you - this is your vacation.

The Island is located in Michigan's Upper Peninsula and is approximately an hour's drive from the Mackinac Bridge. It is accessible by car, plane or boat. The adventure starts with a Ferry ride over to the Island.

- "We've stayed here at least 3 different times. We love the view, beautiful sunsets. The cabin did have dog pee smell when we arrived. I did buy some pet stain stuff and cleaned up the obvious stains. We had just camped the week prior, so it was great to have a cabin after living on the beach. We appreciated the dock repairs. It was not in the best shape last year but now it feels safe to dock our fishing boat & had a separate small platform to fish from. The satellite TV worked well to watch the all star game. The kitchen had all we needed & we used the grill for meals. The bathroom with laundry was great to have. Beds were comfy, which may be an upgrade too. Many nights were spent by the campfire. Many deer, muskrats, geese and frogs to see & hear. We did some 4-wheeling on the trails in our jeep or boating to harbor island by day. We hope to come back again next summer. Thanks again!"

Rent the entire island with two cabins to call your own! Howard Island is a two-acre, family-owned island, located just north of Drummond Island in the Potagannissing Bay, Lake Huron. It is one of the many beautiful islands that dot the bay. Howard Island is heavily wooded with Cedar trees, has puddingstone-dotted rocky shores (bring your watershoes!) and offers 360 degrees of breathtaking views. The entire dock area has been replaced and upgraded as of May 2021 with shore power and water for your boat. We have also upgraded the water system and added a washer/dryer unit in the main cabin. It is a perfect home base for adventures or to hide from the world for a bit! Rent a boat from Yacht Haven or bring your own to get to and from Howard Island, along with cruising the beautiful bay. Harbor Island National Wildlife Refuge is just a hop-skip away for hiking and swimming!

Lakeside Lodge has beautiful patinaed pine paneling and wood floors which give this home an authentic lodge feel. A floor level fireplace adds to the home's charm. Large windows throughout the main floor allows you to soak up the beauty that surrounds this home. There's plenty of space to spread out between the lodge log furnished den and the plush leather furnished living room. A large outside gazebo is the perfect place to enjoy an evening meal or just relax and soak in the sound of waves lapping the shore. The western view offers breathtaking sunsets at the end of the day. Located on E. Tourist Road, the property has 180' of sandy shoreline and sets on a 2.87 acre lot, giving you a feel of seclusion, yet close to town.

This is a four bedroom home and comfortably sleeps 10. The newly remodeled main floor bath has a tub/shower combo and includes a washer and dryer. All bedrooms are located on the second floor. We’re excited to share our lakefront cabin with you! Enjoy some of the best views that the Potagannising Bay has to offer. Relax on the wrap-around deck while viewing the water and it’s wildlife, sport fish the bay and many island shorelines, as well as experience some of the most amazing sunsets! Enjoy the lake during the day and end each night with a bonfire under the North’s best starlit nights.

The island is also a Jeep / ORV destination. Multiple trails and routes provide days of fun, sun, dust or mud!

The main floor consists of the living room, dining/kitchen area, (2) private bedrooms (one full bed in ea.), full bathroom and separate laundry room; overall you have all the space you need.

The upstairs loft sleeps 7 socially with(3) Queens and (1) Single bed.

The covered deck faces the lake as well as wraps around the side and back. It has a gas grill, outdoor picnic table, and outdoor seating to relax in.

Spend time sunning on the dock. Bring your boat to enjoy the waters around this fisherman's paradise.

Wi-Fi / streaming is provided and cell phone reception can be questionable. A landline is active if needed.

Big Bear is a Finnish built cabin that overlooks a beautiful marsh - the perfect setting for wildlife viewing and for hitting the trails in your SxS or ATV! Cranes, geese, deer and bear are common visitors. This two story home features 2 bedrooms and sleeps 8* comfortably. The main floor has the unique charm of the original Finnish cabin with a stone bread oven in the living room (not for use by renters). Historical artifacts from years past adorn the living room and dining room. Also on the main floor is a fully appointed kitchen along with the second full guest bathroom with shower. On site is a large Finnish Sauna so please make time to enjoy while staying at this beautiful Cabin!

Quiet interior roads that are great for exploring by bicycle, walking or runs. This home sits on a small “beaver” pond at the front of the house. This 2 Bedroom, 2 Bathroom open concept home has vaulted wood ceilings, a fireplace and large sliders that access an expansive covered porch that features a log king post truss design. This quiet setting at the pond gives way to viewing wildlife from the home and porch. There is a large firepit and charcoal grill just off the porch. The galley style kitchen is well stocked with everything you may need to prepare your meals. The bar peninsula has seating for guests plus there is a beautiful dining area with a custom table.
