Only a short distance from the Oreti river and a short drive to a large number of fishing spots it is a perfect base for a fishing holiday or just a relaxing get away. It is also perfectly situated on the round the mountain cycle trail.

- "The property was clean and tidy during our stay. There are basic kitchen utensils if you need to cook a simple meal. A new shower has also been installed since the last review. Aroha was a kind and friendly host. I recommend this unit for travellers stopping over for a night to rest before heading to their next destination. " - "Very spacious and clean. This Old Farm hut has been converted to be cozy and self contained in a rural setting. It is situated on a family sheep and arable farm, there are always things going on. It features an electric fireplace, double bed, small stove top, microwave, fridge (no freezer), running hot water shower as well as an outdoor bathtub that overlooks fields and is the perfect spot for star gazing. We are surrounded in an area of diverse beauty that is only a drive away, with our closest town Winton being 10 mins away, Queenstown 2 hrs, and Te Anau 1 hr 10 mins. Also a great base between the two fishing rivers of the Aparima and Oreti .
Winton has a supermarket and heaps of choices for food and beverages. You can self check in or we are more than happy to greet you!

The location is conveniently situated 40 minutes away from the airport. This cozy space is ideal for travelers who want to explore the surrounding region. It serves as an excellent stopover between Queenstown and Te Anau, particularly for those planning to visit Milford Sound.

Smoking is permitted, but only outside the premises. Kindly ensure that you leave the space in the same condition as you found it.
