Located on Orchard Island our cottage was completely remodeled in 2014 with updates in 2024, it is fully furnished with new appliances including washer and dryer. Plenty of outdoor seating along the lakefront perfect for swimming, fishing, or enjoying beautiful sunsets nightly. Set in a cove with great views of the main lake. Wonderful firepit next to the lake to cook hotdogs or marshmallows. Large gas grill. Weekly rentals from Friday to Friday. Linens are provided. Pack-N-Play provided.

If you have additional vehicles they can be parked at Pew Island Recreation Area about 1 minute drive north of the home. Also we ask that guests please keep outside noise to a minimum after dusk.

Second bedroom has a twin bed. There is also a full sized air mattress provided for extra guests.

Rates will vary based on season with discount for weekly rentals. Holidays (Labor Day, 4th July, Memorial Day) extra. Weekly rentals during summer months are Monday to Friday.

You will have access to a driveway that is capable of holding three cars and a boat. We have a fire pit and charcoal grill - plan on supplying your own charcoal and wood.

This is a small cottage with a huge screen room and great yard . I offer a great price and great location. This is not the Taj Mahal. I'm 64 years old and I'm trying to supplement my income a bit. If you are looking for brand new home with brand new furnishings and be close to lake like I am then feel free to pay the steep price that goes with it. I'm for the comman man who just wants a clean but fun place to get away .

The space
This quaint cottage is stylishly decorated featuring a full open kitchen, living/dining area with high ceilings, a Keurig coffee bar area, a master bedroom (queen), a loft bedroom (queen memory foam bed and a twin). Fluffy down alternative comforters and soft comfy hypoallergenic pillows. The cool loft is also equipped with a separate A/C unit for your comfort. Sofa bed in living room if needed. Not the comfiest (I don’t know any that are! Lol) but useable. A side yard and covered porch allow for fun outdoor dining. A gas grill and chairs are there for you to use a long with a fire pit for bonfires or s’mores.

Popular dining destinations, such as Cranberries, Froggy's, Tilton Hilton, La Playa Azul and Woody’s are a short drive away. Shakes at the Lake less than a mile away and has quick take away similar to fair food. Yummy ice cream and shakes of course!
Parks, walking paths, beaches (Old Field Beach), campgrounds are all within a short drive. Chippewa Boat Ramp is a 5-minute walk south, down Kiowa Path from the cottage and features fishing areas, playground equipment, volleyball and cornhole.

Head out for even more fun at the Go-Kart and Mini-Golf facility (open on weekends) — only a mile away on 235!
Bring your own boat to and plan days on the water or rent one at the nearby Pontoon and boat rentals.

Guests have full use of gravel drive in front of the cottage (2-3 cars) and a paved driveway in front of the garage (1 car). We do not own a golf cart or boat currently but feel free to rent one nearby. Guests have full access to the lighted front porch deck, coverd patio with string lights (turn on with switch by lock box), the side yard, , woodpile, gas grill and outdoor dining furniture. Exit available in the mudroom for emergencies.

Other things to note
*Weekends, especially holiday weekends, can be pretty busy in the summer. Best to call ahead and check wait times for popular restaurants before heading out to eat and always make boat/golf-cart reservations early.

*Concerts and bands can be found playing throughout the summer on beaches and in dining spots.

*Our well water is drinkable but we recommended using bottled water in the refrigerator or by the Keurig coffee area.

*There are three steps going into the cottage, a very small bathroom with a step in shower with grab bar. There are 2 large carpeted steps going down into the master bedroom.

Our place is located on a channel with easy access to the main lake, many restaurants and Old Field Beach. You’ll love our place because of the location, cottage feel, fenced in yard with a stamped concrete patio and fire pit. Kayaks, outdoor dining set, fire pit utensils, Blackstone griddle and Culligan water.

The space
All cooking needs for the kitchen, grill and fire are provided. There is plenty of outdoor seating and extra chairs in the shed.
We have 2 window air conditioners, one in the master bedroom and one in the dining area. These are more than enough to cool the entire home on hot days, though we prefer to leave the windows open, and doors during the day, the majority of the time.
I do provide firewood for convenience. I ask that you replace the wood you burn or leave cash so I can replace it for future guests.

2 bedrooms on main floor with closets. The whole upstairs is a room with 4 beds. The upstairs bedroom is accessible by pull-down staircase and care should be exercised with use, especially in the case of children.

Both floors are accessible and part of the living space. There is a locked room with supplies which is not accessible to guests. Please stay out of all upstairs storage.

Boat dock to tie your boat up to (Electric lift not available), Waterfront Upper Deck with a fantastic view, Fire Ring (bring your own firewood), Gas Grill (gas provided), Large Yard to enjoy with plenty of seating. Please, no pets, tents, RV's or campers.

Located on Seminole Island at Indian lake, this cottage is a seven-minute walk from Cranberry Resort and a two-minute walk from Pew Island where there is a public boat dock and nature trail. The stairs to the upstairs are “quirky” and would be a challenge for an elderly person or unattended child to climb. At the top the roof slopes, which is where it would be most challenging. Once you are upstairs the ceiling is tall and there is a lot of space!

The space
This cottage is FUN with custom designed themed rooms and a new stenciled patio that overlooks an island full of wildlife just across the channel. It has a boat dock for your use or bring some rafts and just chill in the water under the sun. We recommend water shoes while swimming because of shells and unknown items that may be on the water floor. At night turn on the overhead led string lights to set the mood and enjoy the deck that overlooks the patio.

The whole cottage is for our Guests as it has a sizeable patio and a nice deck over looking the water. There are separate entrances for the 3 seasons room which overlooks the water and for the Lodge room which has its own entrance at the front of the house and offers a unique apartment style of living as one must take a few steps from this room to then go into the front door. The other 3 bedrooms are within the main house. All doors have coded door locks except the sliding back patio door.
