For 5 years, we have been sharing our Art House Project with travelers from around the world. We have created a tranquil and inspiring setting to help guests relax and unwind. This is a comfortable and unique home, perfectly suited for a family or a group of up to 6.
We’ve set up our home to be a comfortable space for you to gather, snack, and hang out with friends and family. It’s a wonderful spot to make new memories.

A beautiful, quiet and cozy lakefront cottage with over 300 feet of shoreline to enjoy. The abundance of trees allows you to unwind while swinging in the hammock or relaxing on the spacious deck however, those who prefer the sun can soak up the rays on your private dock. We have been blessed to have made so many wonderful memories with our family and friends over the years and hope that you will also make fond memories during your vacation on Lake Norman.

The master bedroom has a King bed with sliding glass doors onto a spacious deck overlooking the lake. The second bedroom has a queen bed and a bunk with a full, on the bottom and a twin on top. A Jack and Jill bathroom with double sinks separates the two bedrooms. Ceiling fans in each bedroom along with Roku, cable TV and a DVD player.

The kitchen is fully equipped with new upgrades to accommodate your needs.

The Family room has a fantastic view of the lake with cathedral ceilings, 3 ceiling fans with lights, a 50-inch Roku cable TV, stereo, DVD player, and internet. Also has a delightful dining area.

The 2nd full bathroom is also equipped with a full-size washer and dryer.

The 1100 square foot pier has a covered boat house, sundeck, 12-foot platform, power outlets, lights and a 50-inch Roku cable TV for your lakeside viewing entertainment. Plenty of parking for additional boats and a boat launch (1/4 mile) within walking distance.

The circle drive has additional space for several cars and boat trailers.

The one-acre yard which is located on the point, is beautifully landscaped and offers a wooden kids swing set and hammock. In addition to these amenities, we offer up to 3 kayaks upon request.

Side note:

We do NOT charge a cleaning fee BUT we do ask our guess to leave the cottage as you found it. (Referring to cleanliness) Wipe down Bathrooms, Clean kitchen, etc. We do ask you to wash your dirty towels but just strip the sheets and place them by the washer. If you wish NOT to leave the cottage as you found it upon arrival, a cleaning fee of $200.00 will be added. Please let us know what you decide when booking.

FYI; Even though most of our guest straighten up before they leave. We do go in and do a complete sanitation of the cottage before our next visitors arrive.

The cottage has 3 small bedrooms - and a tiny twin bunk room. It is right on the water and has new pier and floating dock perfect for fishing or sitting out and relaxing. It has just been renovated with updated appliances and new floors throughout the house. An outdoor shower has also recently been added to the side of the cottage.

A perfect quiet get away with some of the best views around.

The deck by the water was where we spent most of our time and the best part was the giant tree provided a lot of shade almost all day! We also rented the boat and while it was pricey we were happy with it and the communication around the rental and operating it were really easy. We'd love to come back and stay longer! Tip for those booking: the temperature was comfortable throughout the house but the back right bedroom got the coldest if that's important to ya ;)"

It is such a nice feature to be able to bring your dog and with the fenced yard, it couldn't be more perfect. My favorite place was on the swing in the screened in porch. Quiet, just added fire pit seating area and steps to recently cleaned small beach area(.Unfortunately the beach comes and goes as the Lake level increases or decreases. While we weren’t there for the lake, it was a nice bonus to be able to look out the front windows and see the lake or sit on the front deck and enjoy it! Jamie was very easy to work with and answered any questions I had very quickly. House was well stocked with anything you would need. She even had a pitcher of filtered water in the fridge when we arrived. House also has a large yard which was nice since our mini schnauzer was with us. Just a short drive to restaurants, grocery stores, shopping, & really good ice cream! Hope to stay here next time I visit family in NC! Patio door did not lock, was hard to feel safe but they did have a piece of wood to secure it. 3. Going down to the dock the railing on the right is very loose and unsafe. Would we go back?!
