- "Super nice" - "I was in the Mooresville/Sherrills Ford area to promote my books at a variety of bookstores, libraries, writer's groups, etc. I needed a comfortable, clean, centrally located space, where I could work and relax in between events. This was PERFECT. I usually travel with my own cast iron skillet, but the small kitchenette had everything else I needed to fix meals. The smoke alarm is right above the counter cooktop, and the heat set it off one time, but all I had to do was turn down the burner and fan the air a little bit. The bed was firm, which I love, the bathroom was spacious, with counter space for my potions and lotions. I enjoyed the quiet cul-de-sac in an established neighborhood. Guests also have access to a wooded walking path. The internet worked great. The hosts were super accessible, answering questions within minutes. I loved this experience."

We took our two labs to enjoy the beauty of Lake Norman. Everything we could have needed was included. Beautiful secluded 550 sq. foot Studio Apartment located on Owners Property. Steps away from cozy Sandy Beach, and great dock with deep water for swimming, fishing, boating, kayaking, paddling or just floating in one of the most beautiful Coves on Lake Norman.

The studio apartment is located on the lower level of a detached garage area. Was built with 3 large viewing windows, and is secluded from the main house. It is a cozy little hide-away with a furnished covered patio area right outside the entry door. The room has a queen size bed, and a very comfortable Futon Couch that converts into a bed. The studio is spacious, with 3 closets, nice size bathroom, and nice size kitchen area. Ceiling fans to keep you cool and heating and air-conditioning unit.

The studio is privately situated from main house. Has a separate stair path and entry door. Can enjoy our private beach area and dock for all your lake fun activities. We have 3 kayaks, and a large paddle boat for your use. Plenty of room at our dock, if you want to bring your boat to hook up!!!

A new parking pad is located in pine straw area in front of house. Enough room to also park a boat trailer. Load and unload in driveway.

Safety and Cleanliness are very important to us. The apartment and surrounding area is cleaned by home owners and we are very picky!! Enhanced cleaning , washing and disinfecting is done between guests.

Also have implemented a 3 night minimum stay due to Covid. Will consider special requests for 2 night stays during the off season of October through December 2020. Must be vaccinated for Covid 19 to stay here.

Dogs are on a request basis only. Due to the size of the apartment prefer small non shedding breeds.

There are so many different places to relax and enjoy the view, it's hard to decide. Ann, Dan and their friendly dog Buddy are your hosts. They live in the rest of the house, but you would never know they are there unless you have a question. Very responsive, very accomodating and very nice folks. This private apartment is perfect for couples needing to get away, small families of 5 or less, or for someone with a short term work contract or longer business stays. There is a full time renter in the apartment below and next door.

- "I just got home from my trip back in NY. So this is about my fifth vacation rental. I have done over the last 3 to 4 years. This trip I let my daughter pick the place which was a little nerve-racking. And due to an unfortunate personal matter after booking we had to change and rearrange the days, which after speaking to the host, Trish worked out perfectly. So we were already off to a great start. This year my daughter brought a friend. When we arrived at the rental, we were delighted. It was a perfect little neighborhood close to the main roads and things that we already had knowledge of. We walked into the rental, which was the second floor above a garage and it was absolutely perfect. Everything looked brand new perfect amount of space, with a huge deck overlooking the lake/Cove as we settled in and started unpacking. We started making a list to go food shopping for the rental had all brand new appliances. Naturally, the girls walk down to the lake and the host. Trish and her husband Bob came over very nice people and ironically they came from New York as well. Unfortunately we had to leave at the end of the vacation but definitely recommend this rental as we are planning to go back in April, possibly if not, definitely in August again."

You will enter this apartment by going into front door and walking up the stairs. On the right side, you will find large bedroom with queen bed and large closet. In closet is pack-n-play, extra cot as needed, laundry basket, hangers and board games.

Laundry room is located at top of the stairs along with iron/ironing board. Washer/dryer in unit is free to use with laundry detergent.

On the left side you will see a very well stocked kitchen with new Stainless Steel Kenmore appliances, dishes, towels, and more. Keurig Coffee machine with free coffee, cream, sugar and many small appliances like toaster, Ninja Blender, waffle maker and much more. Children dinnerware, all cooking material and over 50 individual items are stocked in the kitchen. The dining room seats 5 and also includes a high chair.

The final room is a very large combined bedroom/living room. 2 comfortable queen beds along with a large leather couch with queen pull out mattress. 4k Roku TV along with Blu-ray player in the living room. Very high ceilings throughout all the home.

Apartment "A." You will park in the back and entrance is front door. Lockbox with code allows you entrance.

The Neighborhood:
Located near downtown Mooresville, you are within minutes of Lake Norman, Davidson College, Lowes Headquarters and more. Within walking distance of bars and restaurants. Only about 30 minutes north of Charlotte.

Getting Around:
Parking is on property in the back. Please do not park on circle drive. Park on asphalt parking lot.

Other Things to Note:
Very fast WiFi (100 mb+). Please park in asphalt parking off circle drive located right by back door. Apartment is Letter "A” and entrance is front door. There are 2 sets of stairs and apartment is complete 2nd story.

Check in is 4pm or later and check out is 10am or earlier.

- "The apartment was true to the pictures. We arrived at night and there was not good outside lighting which made finding the house and the door a little tricky. The neighborhood seemed a bit strange as well, not exactly a residential neighborhood. But once upstairs, the space was inviting, the kitchen was well stocked, and the beds were comfortable. There were 3 beds and at least 2 additional fold away beds but only one small bathroom. Also, there is no designated living area. The only TV is in a bedroom. It worked for our needs for a one night business stay but may not work well for some."

NO FURNITURE MOVING - Please keep furniture in its original location. Any rearranged furniture must be returned to its original location before check-out.

Very fast WiFi (100 mb). Please park in gravel parking off circle drive located right by back door. Airbnb Apartment is Letter "B" and located in back left.

- "Misrepresented. Unit is dirty, unsafe & uncomfortable. House isn’t stunning, it’s a shanty in a shanty area. I wasn’t told there’s men working at the property: completely WRONG. Immediately noticed issues upon arrival and contacted owner and VRBO. Owner needed to speak with her unidentified “co-host” ?? and “deal with her toddler”. Inexcusable. If you’re a property owner be prepared to communicate. I immediately asked for a refund and to check out early the following day. Waited for response, and only heard back after VRBO contacted her. Her only concern to refund me was contingent on “leaving a positive review”. What kind of person asks this? I won’t mislead another unsuspecting traveler by posting a bogus review. I was not going to post any review and hope she took the issues and corrected them, but to ask me to lie in order to get a resolution is disgusting. The property is unsafe. The door is janky and can easily be kicked in by a child, let alone an adult. No blinds. The stairs are unsafe, with a RUSTY rod of a rail, we both nearly fell using them in the pitch black darkness since there are no lights. The room/furniture SMELLED. Furniture is stained as are mattress pads. The sounds coming from the house will inhibit any rest. The bathroom sink will not go down, gross. Check out her Gastonia listing and her response about her roaches. Disgusting. I can go on. Worst vacation rental yet. I don’t care about her review of me, or BS reply as I will not use VRBO again."

You will enter this apartment by going into front door and walking up the stairs. On the right side, you will find large bedroom with queen bed and large closet. In closet is pack-n-play, extra cot as needed, laundry basket, hangers and board games.

Laundry room is located at top of the stairs along with iron/ironing board. Washer/dryer in unit is free to use with laundry detergent.

On the left side you will see a very well stocked kitchen with new Stainless Steel Kenmore appliances, dishes, towels, and more. Keurig Coffee machine with free coffee, cream, sugar and many small appliances like toaster, Ninja Blender, waffle maker and much more. Children dinnerware, all cooking material and over 50 individual items are stocked in the kitchen. The dining room seats 5 and also includes a high chair.

The final room is a very large combined bedroom/living room. 2 comfortable queen beds along with a large leather couch with queen pull out mattress. 4k Roku TV along with Blu-ray player in the living room. Very high ceilings throughout all the home.

We welcome our private hideaway to any guest that is looking for a short term getaway or just passing through the area. The suite has been recently renovated with all new finishes, including a wet bar area. Our house is right on Lake Norman, with several lake access points within the immediate area. The space
The private suite, is on the 1st level of our 3 story home. You will have the full main level to yourself, with a private rear entry, and 1 designated parking spot. The space has its own private bathroom, with shower.

This spacious apartment comes with a full kitchen and hardwood floors. The 1,500 sq. ft. apartment is on the lower level of a 6,000 sq. ft. home with amazing views of Lake Norman and its own private entrance. Wake up and see the sunrise or relax on the dock and watch the sunset over the lake! Relax in the 7 person hot tub while looking out at the lake.
The separate building in some of the pictures is a boathouse that holds lake equipment for your use and is not the apartment

We have 2 friendly Golden Retrievers on the property.Also located on the property is a Suite on the ground floor with a king bed, private bathroom and a private entrance. The Suite is a nice addition if you are wanting to have a small get together with family or friends. The Suite can be found under the title "New, Romantic Lakefront Suite with Great Views.

Although the hot tub is available to all guests, it is not intended to be a shared experience. We ask that you give the guests using the hot tub their privacy.
