- "This property has everything you need for a calm weekend away. The lake views and walking trails are incredible! Davidson parents- this is a must stay! So close to campus" - "Thanks. " - "Great view of lake and very comfortable place to stay for a long weekend" - "My college friends and I do an annual get-together with the intention of relaxing, connecting, and spending time water-side. We always make sure the property has a pool or direct access to the lake. Although this location had a boat slip, we were told we were not allowed to get in the water (understandable) which is why we ensured there was a pool. We arrived on a Friday, and there was a maintenance man adjusting the lock on the door at 4:15 PM... Then we find out that the pool was closed for the weekend because of being out of code with an ill-functioning phone. The phone was actually operational, but the inspector had not come back out, hence the pool being locked. I called the condo office and they are in no way associated with the listing. Also the residents at the location stated that this neighborhood was not supposed to be on VRBO or Vacasa (I'm not sure if that is true or not). The property managers were notified the day before arrival of the pool closure, and not only were we not given a courtesy notice to be able to find another location, there was no adjustment in payment due or any type of remorse in the fact that the quality of our vacation weekend had been diminished. No one had told us this, no one had given us a heads up so that we could book another property, and no one seemed to care. This is a small apartment that we paid a premium for (due to amenities) and we were incredibly disappointed with the result. We will not be back based on experience."

The property is next to the Holiday Marina and Hello, Sailor restaurant which was also helpful for gas and fun for dining on the lake. The unit had everything needed, including coffee pods for the Keurig and cream and sugars. The beds and furniture were comfortable. Be aware that this is a third floor unit and there is not an elevator. Could be a problem for someone with mobility issues. I gave the property 4 stars, since the exterior of the building could use some work- but the unit inside is lovely. Would definitely return."

- "Super nice" - "I was in the Mooresville/Sherrills Ford area to promote my books at a variety of bookstores, libraries, writer's groups, etc. I needed a comfortable, clean, centrally located space, where I could work and relax in between events. This was PERFECT. I usually travel with my own cast iron skillet, but the small kitchenette had everything else I needed to fix meals. The smoke alarm is right above the counter cooktop, and the heat set it off one time, but all I had to do was turn down the burner and fan the air a little bit. The bed was firm, which I love, the bathroom was spacious, with counter space for my potions and lotions. I enjoyed the quiet cul-de-sac in an established neighborhood. Guests also have access to a wooded walking path. The internet worked great. The hosts were super accessible, answering questions within minutes. I loved this experience."

1400 sq ft. spacious completely private 1 bed/1 bath 2nd floor home apartment. Parking right next to door, private and secure entrance in upscale Mooresville Lake Norman neighborhood on 5 acres. Includes WIFI, a full kitchen/dining area, breakfast nook, living area with TV, office nook, bedroom, full bath, laundry room with full size washer and dryer.
There is also an additional connected bedroom that includes a full size bed, linens, and dresser that could be opened up for an additional charge of $15 nightly. Please inquire if this is needed for your stay.

HOUSE RULES
INDEPENDENT VERIFICATION, BACKGROUND, and PHOTO ID—To complete your booking, the primary account holder needs to undergo an Independent Identity Verification and Background History Check. You will receive instructions on submitting your government-issued ID, along with some basic information, after your reservation is conditionally approved. This process is standard for identity verification and is crucial for emergencies.
You must complete the process within 72 hours to remain eligible for a refund. If unapproved, you’ll receive a full refund if you completed it within the given time frame. Failing to complete it within 7 days will result in the cancellation of your booking without a refund. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in following these procedures to ensure a safe and enjoyable stay for all our guests.
AGE RESTRICTIONS – All guests must be 22 years old or older or accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
NO 3RD-PARTY BOOKINGS— To comply with the rental platform’s terms and policies, the person making the reservation must be the primary guest staying in the Home. If the person making the reservation will not be staying at the Home, you must let us know. In this case, the account of the guests staying in the Home should be added to the reservation as an “additional guest.”
UNLISTED GUESTS—Your reservation details must include all adult overnight guests staying with you. Each additional unlisted guest will incur a $100 fee per night, and any other costs associated with remediating the situation. Housing unlisted guests violates the platform’s terms and policies and puts the guests at risk of uncovered liability. The reserving guest is solely responsible for all damages and costs.
GUESTS WHO LIVE LOCALLY—We do not permit reservations from guests residing within a 60-mile radius of the Home without written approval. If you live locally to the Home, you are required to notify us at the time of making your reservation and request explicit permission from us in advance. Failure to obtain authorization will result in the immediate termination of your reservation without a refund.
AMENITY USAGE— Community and home amenities are reserved only for guests listed on the reservation. Amenities such as community pools and gyms are unavailable to the reservation holders’ friends or family. Violating this may result in the termination of your reservation, community fines, and you will be responsible for any other costs associated with resolving the situation.
NO PARTIES OR EVENTS—No parties or unapproved events are allowed in the Home or the community. Any number of friends, family, or visitors exceeding the Home’s advertised occupancy must first be approved by the hosts. Violating this policy will result in the immediate termination of your reservation, forfeiture of any opportunity for a refund, and a $200 fine in addition to any repair costs.
Hosting any guests not listed on the reservation during the community quiet hours will automatically qualify as a party/event and incur the full stated penalty.
If the police, community courtesy officer, community leasing office, or any other relevant authority is contacted as a result of any disturbance created by you or your guests, it will automatically qualify as a party/event and incur the full stated penalty.
TRASH AND WASTE HANDLING—Most of our properties offer a valet trash service or a similar option for easy waste disposal.
You should NOT place trash outside during the day, or the community may levy a fine against us. All fines will be passed on to the guest.
All trash must be put in a trash bag and fit inside the trash bin with the lid closed.
Upon check-out, the housekeeper will handle up to two trash bags. If you have more than two trash bags, you are responsible for taking the additional bags to the community dumpster. Leaving behind more than two trash bags will result in a $25 fine to cover extra housekeeping costs.
NO FURNITURE MOVING - Please keep furniture in its original location. Any rearranged furniture must be returned to its original location before check-out.
NO FOOD OR DRINK IN BEDROOMS—Food and beverages other than water are prohibited in the bedrooms. Any stains or damages will result in additional charges.
CLEANING - At the sole discretion of the hosts, if an unreasonable mess is found after your check-out, you will be charged an additional cleaning fee of $90.

We did find what appeared to be a king size/queen size inflatable mattress." - "Our family was visiting a family member who moved to Charlotte. We decided to stay at this Cornelius condo so we would have good access to Charlotte, but also the Lake Norman area. The location was great. The community was excellent with a great pool. Great spot for a family with young kids or adults. Justin was a great host and even took care of a minor garbage pickup issue we had himself! I'd recommend this rental."

Fully renovated in 2024, everything in this spacious 1000 square foot apartment is brand-new and immaculate with modern amenities, including a fully-equipped kitchen, an in-home laundry, two smart TVs with Roku, a paperback library, a dedicated workstation with two monitors, peripherals, and Google Fiber wi-fi, tons of natural light and forest views from every window, and your own private treetop deck with separate entrance and smart lock for self check-in/check-out.
Our 1-acre heavily wooded, secluded, and quiet property is set back from the street on a private drive but is a 5-minute easy walk from downtown Huntersville attractions:

Guests have their own private access to the apartment and deck via a set of exterior stairs, and will be provided a personalized access code for the door (self check-in and check-out).
Guests may also use the parking pad (including the basketball area), trash/recycling area, and unlocked areas of backyard and woods. They should not attempt to access locked interior or exterior areas of the property.
Please be aware that your host family will be on site during your stay. Workers may also occasionally be present in exterior areas of the property. (e.g lawn mowing, pest control).

• Your hosts live on site and work from home, and the property is located in a very sedate residential neighborhood. Quiet hours are strictly enforced from 9:00 pm to 7:00 am daily. We promise to respect your desire for peace and tranquility at all hours and we hope you will show us and our neighbors the same courtesy!
• This is a pet-free property as we already have two cats living on site. Our cats are not allowed in the apartment, but the HVAC system is shared with the main house. We are also required by law to accept guests with service animals. Thus, we cannot guarantee a 100% fur-free environment at all times. Please consider your own allergy risk and book accordingly.
• Smoking is not allowed anywhere on the property (inside or outside).
• Accessing this property requires climbing a set of exterior stairs. There are also three stairs inside the apartment (from living room to bedroom).
• All exterior portions of the entire estate are monitored by motion-sensing security cameras for host and guest safety. No cameras are present inside the apartment.

The Davidson Studio has its own entrance, has a queen size bed, couch, dresser, fridge, stove, oven, shower, TV, WiFi. Everything you need for a quite stay. I am less than 2 miles to Downtown Davidson and lots of restaurants.
