Only real let down was the exceedingly expensive breakfast that was really not worth the €30 that for 3 people almost felt like extortion. - "I have been to this hotel many times, since it is the base for an event that happens annually. But I have never stayed at the hotel until this year, I managed to book early before it filled up this time. The rooms are luxurious and spacious, you can swing two cats at the same time no problem. The only negative is the location, if you are not driving the Uber or Taxi out will be costly, fortunately for me I was transported around by others at the event that had driven their cars to the event. The staff are excellent, the breakfast service especially is very organised. Although the hotel is listed as being close to Gelsenkirchen, it's actually about a 20-minute drive out. The hotel’s restaurant provided a delightful dining experience, though room service options were somewhat limited. However, this did not detract from the overall quality of our stay.
