WELCOME TO THE RIVER LODGE –a place to gather with friends and family! This unique home sits on a peaceful five acres on the banks of the Mississippi River. It features three levels with 7 bedrooms plus additional sleeping areas in the loft and the game room, making it possible to fit up to 24 guests (see below for details). The great room with its double height ceiling and loft balcony provides a large gathering space which is perfect for reunions and retreats. Additionally, there are 3 other living rooms all with smart TVs, 5 bathrooms, a game room with ping pong, several outdoor sitting areas, a beautiful fire pit patio and several lawn games to enjoy.

THE AREA
The towns of Aitkin and Crosby are just a 15 minute drive from the lodge. Both have a wonderful variety of cafes, restaurants, antique shops and events throughout the year. Also a short drive away are the famous Cuyuna mountain biking trails! In the winter, cross country, snowshoe and snow-mobile trails are all nearby.

Great place to get away. Our family cabin has been fully updated to meet the needs of our guests and family. Main floor is a open floor plan with beautiful views of lake and awesome screened in porch with fire table. Basement is setup with two bedrooms and four beds with a walkout to the lake. Every room has great views to the lake and home has a wrap around deck with plenty of space to enjoy. Our shoreline is as nice as they come on Mille Lacs- great swimming and gradual slope with no weeds or rocks. Great place to have a winter get away! Snowmobile right from the front yard-miles of trails off or on the lake. Pull the portable fish House out to a premier Minnesota lake. If you chose to explore the area, or just hang out and relax, you won't be disappointed.

Watch the sunrise over beautiful Mille Lacs Lake. Our year around home is situated on the Northwest corner of Mille Lacs Lake. The main floor of the home has a large kitchen / dining room that comfortably seats the entire group. The living room has a large TV and plenty of comfortable seats to relax and watch a movie after a day of fun on the water. The master suite is on the main level, as well as the laundry. Go up the stairs to a game room that overlooks the lake and has a poker table, foosball table and high top for playing cards, checkers and chess. Off the game room are two additional bedrooms and a bathroom. Upstairs from the game room is another loft bedroom. A paddle boat, bean bags and games are at the property for guests to use.

Farm Island lake is 2000 acres with 13 miles of shoreline approximately 2 hours north of the Twin Cities, near Aitkin. Managed as a walleye lake with excellent fishing, including crappies, northern pike, bass, and panfish.

Sleeping quarters worked well and the two bathrooms were clutch for the couples and toddler. This whole house is smart, it’s incredible! We did have an issue with the internet and embedded smart home system when we arrived. Mike and the owner went above and beyond to fix the issue, though. The neighbors were great too!"

The main level features a great room, kitchen & dining area, 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms. The master bedroom & 2nd bedroom each have a king size bed.

The basement level offers 1 full bathroom with walk-in shower, 1 bedroom with 2 double beds and 1 bedroom with a queen bed. The basement living room area remains unfinished. There is also a laundry area with washer/dryer.

This is a peaceful retreat situated on a dead-end road. There is lots of wildlife & also good fishing for Muskie, Bass, Northern, Panfish & Walleye. There are many other lakes nearby.
