***PARKING: Our garage and driveway can accommodate 2 vehicles. Any more than that will need to park in front of the house or on 10th St (about 50 ft away). If any part of your vehicle is encroaching the alley behind the house, the city will have it towed.

**CAMERAS: We have a ring camera on the front door and back gate/pool equipment.

**GUEST COUNT: The number of people at the property cannot exceed the number of guests listed on the reservation. Our cleaning crew charges us for supplies and cleaning based on guest count as well as preparation for incoming guests.

**BEDROOM: Bedroom 3 is intended to be a workspace but also has a twin modular floor mattress /couch. Adults can sleep on it but it's mainly for children.

We are a community of 35-40 young adult guys/girls. Entrepreneurs, programmers, bartenders, artists, ACC & UT students. Decent people. Big single floor apartment/dorm-like building, lots of amenities, good location.

The space
Our building was constructed in the 60's. It was designed as a nursing home and feels like a dorm. Bedrooms are arrayed down three long hallways that all feed into a central kitchen, an adjacent large living room, and a lobby area. The building on the whole is an odd shape, and its interior reflects the range of occupants it has had over the years in a way that is far more often charming than discordant. It has been a running theme of residents to be a little perplexed upon arrival, only to grow to love it and wonder how they ever doubted it within a week or two. As it is an old building, problems come up with its infrastructure (nothing major, but potentially burdensome - up to a 4/10 on the severity scale). Between the resident house manager and the company's part-time handyman, response time to deal with problems is fast, and company staff is keenly sensitive to residents' well-being.

What the building lacks in modernity it makes up for in community and amenities. Aside from the large living room, there are several nooks and crannies to work from home or relax in throughout the house. The property includes a pool table in the common room, lots and lots of tables and chairs for dining & computing, two free to use laundry rooms (guests provide their own detergent, though), a courtyard, backyard, propane BBQ, a chicken coop, and a dedicated TV room with the best couches, a 50" screen, Netflix, Amazon, and HBO. The house sponsors a variety of regular and one-time social events, at which there's a great chance to get to know other residents. We value sociable and friendly people, and an abiding core of twelve or fifteen indefinite-stay residents keep things rolling amidst what could otherwise be a rootless community. With the variety of backgrounds, talents, and interests at the house, there's someone for everyone when it comes to making friends.
