The unit is a garage apartment located in a quiet neighborhood. It does back up to the interstate so there is some traffic noise. There is a white noise machine to drown it out but I did not find the traffic at all disturbing. The unit is stocked as expected. Bed and bedding was extremely comfortable and cozy. Towels were fluffy. It’s tastefully decorated with a New Orleans theme. Overall great stay and great host! Will stay again when I’m the area."

The home’s backyard faces I20. I have provided sound machines in each bedroom for the light sleepers. I’ve only received positive feedback from all guests and they said the interstate did not bother them during the stay but I want to make sure all potential guests are aware of the location.

This is a new home, built in January 2021, in a beautiful new neighborhood. Just across the highway from the Red River National Wildlife Refuge. Where they have walking/bike trails, and a hiking trail.

I am available by phone, text, or email. However, if you need me I am usually home caring for my pets. They will be kenneled if we have to step out.

We do have animals. My small dogs warm up to people quickly, and will beg for attention. You can love them, or ignore them. They will be okay either way. They will usually bark and come say hello whenever you walk through the door.

Insulation foam and other soundproofing has been added to the door leading to the interior of the home - this door is deadbolted and you do not have access to any other part of the home. Entrance is at back patio with french doors and patio space that you have to yourself during your stay.

The downstairs bed is very soft. Therefore, if you like a firm mattress my house is not for you.

I use a perfume mist to make the sheets smell nice. If you don’t like it please let me know when you book instead of thinking my sheets are not washed and leaving negative reviews
