- "First, this location is a block off the quarter. Makes access to all French Quarter sites walkable. Jackson Square a little far but still doable. Security of building was first rate. Check in process was easy. Liked this location as it’s close enough to the action without being in the middle of it (noise, etc). Now, the unit itself. Plenty clean and orderly. Kitchen isn’t stocked with much. But has glasses, bowls, plates. Dining table was unstable and we were afraid to use it much. TV had streaming only, couldn’t watch The Masters as we couldn’t access cable type channels. No wash clothes in the bathroom…if you’re gonna have liquid soap, you need wash clothes. And the bed…highly recommend the mattress be changed. It was extremely hard, beyond firm. Had no cushion to it. You can certainly rely on this place for good location and generally who cares about a kitchen when you have all the great FQ food nearby; however, comfort is important. A few things made me drop this from a 4 to 3 rating, the bed being the main thing. "

The units (yes, it is 2 separate units, NOT a 3 bedroom condo) were run down, unkept, patches on the walls that needed to be painted, closet lights not working, furniture had rings and cigarette burns in the couch and missing blinds (or held up with paper clips). - "Lovely place" - "I absolutely loved the location. Only a few blocks from Bourbon street and Jackson Square. Everything was within walking distance, museums, shops, food, etc. Things to know, we were on the 3rd floor and there was no elevator but it was well worth the view of the cathedral down the street and there really isn't any parking unless you want to pay which I was okay with. My only complaint would be that this seemed to be a small studio apartment on the listing but it is actually a small studio hotel room and only had a small mini fridge with no microwave. We did loved the later checkout time. Overall it was a little spendy to not get what I expected, but it was such an awesome little place to stay. "

We are located three blocks from the famous Saint Charles Streetcar which can take you all the way from Audubon Park & Zoo to the French Quarter.

We operate the adjacent house which is a “masculine” version of this one. Perfect if you are traveling with a larger group and want to book adjacent houses.

Getting Around:
The area is walkable to many restaurants, bars and shops, however, taxis and ride shares are also a great way to get around. This home is 2 blocks from the St. Charles historic trolley that can be a fun way of getting around all the way from Audubon Park to the other side of the French Quarter. Should you be traveling with a car, this house has two gated parking spaces and plenty of street parking around the city.

If you want parking close to this location you will have to pay for it using the premium parking services nearby. That was a very unexpected expense. We paid over 400 for parking for the duration of our stay just for peace of mind to have our car in a somewhat secure location. The interiors were really nice and clean, the only thing I would be mindful of is that the bathroom area is completely open to the room and the shower has a fully glass front so I would not stay here with anyone you're not super close with. Also the toilet door is frosted glass and doesn't go to the ceiling, so no mystery there either lol. All in all I really enjoyed our stay here! No issues."

The apartments were gorgeous and well appointed with everything we needed to cook a full Thanksgivng dinner for 10 people!The location is perfection! The building is fantastic with a little storage room and supply closet! " - "Great" - "Initially, I was very excited about our trip to New Orleans. We were going for a professional conference, and my adult children were actually going with me for the first time. I have been a long time VRBO customer and have really never had any problems to report except for this time. We were not allowed to control the temperature in our rooms. It was locked down from the building We arrived Friday evening and Friday sleeping was kind of uncomfortable. Saturday our temperature in our rooms in the evening was 95.we were told by customer service to open the windows to allow the rooms to cool off because it was cold outside in New Orleans. It was 70 degrees and a little bit humid. I don’t know about you, but I don’t like leaving windows open that have no screens on them as that is not a very safe option. We had to complain multiple times and they brought fans to our room to try to cool the rooms off without success really. It was only until our very last night when they turned the air conditioners on Roami Steve said they would give us a 20% off discount for two nights for a total of 90 off our bill for having four evenings of unbearable, warm and uncomfortable temperatures. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend anyone to stay at this place. I feel their compensation for the lack of temperature control was not and is not adequate. When you rent a VRBO, you should be able to control your own room temperature. You can do that in a hotel. You should be able to do it through Vrbo."

It would have been a great place to stay if our toddler had been with us, too—had a full fridge, bathtub, and washing machine. - "The property was cute, but the bar at the corner of the street was packed- people were in the street so we couldn’t use it to get to the apartment (it was Decadence week so probably usually not that bad). Also, the spiral stairwell in the apartment was wobbly. Otherwise, no complaints. I would still recommend the property and host. We enjoyed the VRBO. Floors were dirty…we don’t wear shoes in the our home and did the same here, feet turned black on the bottom. There was a significant leak under the main kitchen sink when using it. The only way to the kitchen is up a somewhat sketchy spiral staircase made of PVC??? Loud, squeaky, and moves when used but i guess it’s safe-ish…wouldn’t want to see my parents attempt to navigate it. This should be CLEARLY communicated in the listing. It’s not. Those are the big things. Some minor items I’d like to highlight is the number of towels. One sm-medium towel per guest and no hand towels or rags isn’t really enough. Two of each would be sufficient. There are zero mirrors other than the sink mirrors in the bathrooms. There is ample room and opportunity to place at least one full length mirror so people can take a look at themselves before heading out. Vain, maybe, but i think most people would agree this is a very simple upgrade that’s almost expected. Every hotel room has one. It’s not aggressively loud but will absolutely hear people pretty much 24 hours a day. Be prepared with a fan app on your phone. It’s barely spring so we didn’t really care but the pool and pool area looked unkempt. Both were full of debris. The check in procedure was a bit cumbersome with multiple links via email and text to submit my information to include a picture of my card with all but the last four numbers covered"
