Once inside the compound, the registration office is also unique as it is constructed of shipping containers. The facility is divided into two sections, one a full service RV park and the other rows of mobile homes. Each Mobil Home contains 4 rooms with a shared kitchen and sitting area between the rooms. I was the only occupant of the unit containing my room. Very clean and very secure. Overall, very interesting location, friendly service and I will definitely return in the future. "

This how features 2 King beds with duvet covers that get washed after each guest (most blankets don't get washed for 6 months of more). - "This is the best VRBO experience we’ve had! Cory was very responsive and has an eye for the details. As many reviews referenced, she left us welcome muffins, gifts for the kids, and eggs from their hens. The house is just outside of Carlsbad and an east 45 minute ride to the caverns. It’s about 2.5 hours to White Sands. The hosts provide sleds and coolers to borrow for the day trip. The kitchen is very well stocked with any and everything you’d need for a trip away from home. They even have an ice cream scoop! A big bonus is the “honor” pantry. We didn’t use it, but they offer amenities for $, in case you’ve forgotten something (toothbrushes, deodorant, etc…) Communication was easy with the hosts via the app, and they were kind enough to accommodate a change in our stay at the last minute. All in all, we would happily stay here again, if ever we are in the area again."

The home is very artsy and had cute decorations and authentic feel. The kitchen had extras like spices, butter, oil and condiments in the fridge. The extra living room space had games including uno and puzzles. The one bathroom was a downside, but it was updated and served it's purpose. The living room had 3 couches, which was perfect for a big family to watch movies. It's obvious that the owner really puts love and effort into this place. I especially liked that the check out process was easy and owner asked for doors to be locked and towels in the hamper. Much easier than other VRBOs I've stayed at that ask for additional things like take the trash out and strip beds. "

The property is located in a very nice, yet private neighborhood. It is about 30 minutes from the Carlsbad Caverns.

The property is a 3 bed, 2 bath home with a pull out couch. Beautiful hardwood floors through-out with carpet in the bedrooms. Central forced air & furnace. The kitchen has granite countertops and is fully equipped with all kitchen items you may need. Thursday evening or early Friday morning the trash bin must be taken to the front curb.

Each bedroom is equipped with ceiling fans, clean bedding, and charging stations for your electronic devices. The living room has a flat screen TV with a firestick, a DVD player, family board and card games, as well as a comfy pet bed.

The apartment is private, but it shares the property (Big yard space with native plants and laundry room) with the main house which is listed separately (see my listing the Bird- and rent both for a larger group!). You have your own designated covered parking, and the apartment is separated from the bigger house by the garage so it is very quiet.

Whole studio is yours and private with its own entrance, like an apartment but it is located in the back of the main house. You have a driveway to yourself. Laundry room is adjacent to your apartment but is shared, and the yard filled with native plants, birds and bees is shared.

this home is by a busy road altho, the traffic is extremely light at night. if you do need silence to go to sleep I may not recommend this place. although I don't think most ppl would have any issues sleeping here. we put alot of love and care we want everyone to enjoy there time in Carlsbad!

Welcome to this remodeled Private Queen-Bedroom Suite with a full-size futon sleeper, and en-suite full bathroom. With it's central location in Carlsbad, it is perfect for guests who want to visit the Carlsbad Caverns, Guadalupe National Park, and many other fun activities in Carlsbad and surrounding areas. It's close to the best restaurants in town, and the grocery store!

The space

This private suite is “NOT DETACHED” and is located at the end of the main house. It has private access through the back of the house and has a private bathroom inside the bedroom itself. The only "shared" space will be the patio outside in the backyard. However, there is a shared wall and adjoining door (by the washer and dryer) with another Airbnb listing. It is completely separate and locked at all times. It has a double deadbolt lock that only the host and/or cleaners have access to. We have provided noise reduction curtains on either side of the door. On rare occasions, please know that you may hear the guests staying next door. Spacious private queen-bedroom, with en-suite full bathroom, and a full-size futon sleeper. This bedroom can accommodate 3 adults. The futon converts into a full-size bed that can sleep one adult or two small children. If you are traveling with small children please reach out, we may be able to accommodate you.

A white noise machine, and/or earplugs will be provided inside the bedroom, and available to you at your convenience.

This private suite has a flat-screen TV, Blu-ray DVD player that has access to apps such as Netflix and Hulu, a dresser, and lots of closet space.

There are a couple of coffee shops & breakfast spots just a few minutes from the home including Starbucks. We do provide a small coffee bar & cups, as well as a purified water dispenser.

We love pets so please feel free to bring them with you. We allow 1-2 small to medium size pets that are potty trained. There is a fenced-in yard for your pets to utilize. Before you check out, we ask you to clean up their business.

Guests have access to the bedroom, back patio/deck, private bathroom, the street for parking, as well as use the laundry room. The rest of the home is private, there may be additional guests staying in the front house.

Although I do not live on the property, I am almost always available by text. Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns! I only live about 10 minutes away so I am available if you need me!

The home has security cameras outside the home.

The thermostat is located in the main house. Should you need to have the temperature adjusted, please message me so I can coordinate with the guests in the front house. There is also a portable floor heater provided for use during the winter.

For guests who are light sleepers, we have provided bark control devices around the property, sound machines inside all bedrooms, and earplugs to help ensure uninterrupted sleep.

There is no stove or kitchen sink.

This private bedroom suite is ATTACHED to the rest of the house.

This private suite will be like booking a hotel room where other guests are renting another room in the same building. The main difference is that this private room was personally renovated and decorated by the owners, with your comfort in mind and at a more affordable price.

Sales tax is now an additional charge for every reservation.

My place can sleep 4 , comfortably sleep 2 adults on a queen bed and a addtl 2 guests on a not as comfortable sleeper sofa, ideally for children or one adult. I also have a air-up mattress

My studio is located behind main house with access to property thru the alley. Alley is wide spacious and clean! With a 6ft privacy fence with no contact with front house residents at all.

Other things to note
For those animals lovers you will have a chance to see our beloved pet Sulcata tortoise “Stanley” if he is out of his burrow to get his daily meal or to bask in the sun! He is super active in the hot summer days and when winter is approaching he will eat as much as he can to hibernate in his burrow for the entire winter. He will hibernate from about late November until March of the next year! Guests are welcome to feed him fruits and vegetables only ( no citrus fruits) ! My studio will have a little fact binder about Sulcata tortoises , as well as what type of veggies and fruits he can eat, and also some beautiful pictures of my sweet precious Stanley!!

This spectacular corner lot residence is completely fenced in and includes a grill for those outdoor cookouts. It has a comfortable living room area which has central heating & cooling throughout the house. This residence has a spacious full kitchen &its own laundry room which includes the washer and dryer. It’s located 3 blocks away from the police department and is in a good neighborhood. The residence also lies in the middle of the town which makes driving for groceries and necessities convenient. There is a small driveway that can fit one vehicle. Any other vehicles will have to park on the side of the road. No pets will be allowed.

Sweet simple studio apartment for a single or couple. Complete kitchen, dining area or desk, bathroom with walk in shower, and comfortable Queen sized bed. The apartment is private, but it shares the property (Big yard space with native plants & laundry room) w/ the main house which is listed separately (see my listing the Bird- and rent both for a larger group!). You have your own designated covered parking, and the apartment is separated from the bigger house by the garage so it is very quiet.
