Beautiful home located 10-minute walk from SUNY, Cortland. Home has fenced backyard, enclosed patio and is located in a safe quiet neiborhood. - "We needed a place for family to stay for Cornell University’s graduation. This place met our needs with 4 bedrooms, plenty of TVs , and a decent location. It was clean, nicely kept, and had many essentials. Our only complaint is that there was not enough toilet paper. We ended up getting our own, as we knew we would run out. Minor, but worth mentioning for others." - "I was not expecting the house to be as spacious as it appeared in the photos but it was surprisingly roomy! The location was close to shopping and major highways which made getting around easy!"

- "This was the bottom level of a house with great accommodations for our family's weekend baseball tournament. We have stayed at several houses throughout the years and the attention to details is always appreciated. There was plenty of dishes and utensils, TP, paper towels, regular linens and towels with backups if needed. So often these items are not thought off and result to late night visits to the store after checking in. Thanks for the stay."

Welcome to my cozy home in Cortland. You will have 2 guestrooms, a living room, a private bathroom, and a kitchen to yourself. One bedroom is downstairs and the other is upstairs. The bathroom is downstairs. I only rent out the home when I am away and so you will have your privacy when you are staying. There are A/C window units in the bedrooms. There's high-speed internet, a 75" 4K smart TV, a formal dining room, and a kitchen. There is also a nice deck on the back.

Guests have access to the whole first floor and outdoor spaces. My private spaces in the home are locked up.

The home is located a walking distance from SUNY Cortland, Starbucks, Guthrie hospital, and Cortland Main Street. There are several restaurants and a grocery store within a walking distance. I-81 interstate is only 3 minutes from the house.

You can walk or drive to some of the grocery shops or coffee shops.

- "Nice place" - "It's a cozy house - the stairs to the 2nd floor are quite steep - but once you figure out where everything is, it's quite comfortable. One quirky thing is that the lights are operated by remotes - though we couldn't find the one for the living room. Otherwise, it was perfect for our stay during the Blackbird Film Festival and would absolutely stay there again." - "Nice little house in Cortland. Most of the house is not accessible but enough was for our purposes. Bathroom was a little cozy. Kitchen had nice stove and plenty of pots/pans etc. Nice TV with Apple Tv which made it easy to stream my own device and content. Owner was very responsive to any questions. There is a train nearby but it doesn't run too much and it never did in the middle of the night during our stay."

- "We had a very good stay in this beautifully refurbished apartment. It was clean and very comfortable. There were 2 different coffee makers, Keurig and Nespresso, which was a very nice touch. There were plenty of new towels and blanket throws to use. They seemed to have thought of everything on the inside. We were a bit taken aback upon arrival though, because the outside of the house (as well as some of the other houses around it on the street) was very rundown and in need of the same level of TLC we found inside. The location was very convenient, just 1 block from Main Street, with many restaurants and a pharmacy within walking distance. We were invited to park around the back of the house, but chose to park on the street so we could keep an eye on our car. Since it’s is summer, it was very convenient and there were no issues. The host, Larry, was extremely attentive every time I had to email him regarding use of the Wi-Fi, tv and check out questions. If you are looking for a clean and reasonable place to stay, this is a good choice."

This is a very nice property, and we splurged on the entire remodel. It's a duplex house, open floor plan with two apartments with the same floor plan. You can choose to leave the internal apartment doors open or close them to maintain two separate apartments. Think of it as adjoining rooms in a hotel, close the door or keep it open.

(Please note this home is a college rental property, the configuration will remain the same however the bedding, decor, towels will be swapped out during the VRBO rental season. Will update with photos in May. Although this is a college rental property it remains clean and very well kept!)

Each floor has its own heat and central air with HEPA and UV Light filtration system. Business class Wi-Fi, security system for each floor should you want to enable it when you are out of the home. External security lights and camera system. The parking lot is well lit up in the night.
Each floor not only has a stackable washer dryer and laundry room but also a 3 sink/mirror combo full bathroom. The toilet/shower is separated so one can use the sinks with out disturbing someone on the toilet or in the shower. Fully furnished with lots of room to stretch out. Oh and there is a 12x12 dinette addition off of the kitchen on each floor. .Top end appliances, utensils/ plates etc. included.

- "Although the owners were very responsive, we were disappointed in this property. The kitchen was very poorly stocked, there were not enough towels and the bed linens and pillows were old and flimsy. We contacted the owner and he arrived within 20 min with new towels and a few pillows. The bathrooms and the refrigerator could have been cleaner. "
