(Note: FOURWHEEL DRIVE DRIVE vehicles are REQUIRED to access the property IN THE WINTER) Ski Chalet on a mountain top, ski in, ski out. Please note in winter you will need four wheel drive! In winter, bring your skis, snowmobiles, suits for the hot tub and sauna. Relax and watch the snow fall or the fire dance, stretch out in the 6 bedrooms, practice your pool game in the loft ,revel in the bright birds at the feeders, or snuggle in front of the large screen tv in the viewing room. In late spring, summer, and early fall, enjoy the 25 foot diameter above ground pool, firepit, lovely gardens, and even more variety of feathered friends. Hiking abounds, maps available to challenge or offer ambling walks depending on what you prefer, all within a short drive distance. Syracuse and Cortland nearby, 35 min drive, offering venues for dining and entertainment. Perfect venue for family gatherings, business retreats. Whole house rental sleeps 16 in beds, yet rooms or whole floors are available sometimes as well. This is a beautiful and spacious one-bedroom flat located in the quiet Village of Tully, 20 minutes from downtown Syracuse and the Cortland area. Pets are allowed depending on the type and size. For a small village, Tully has much to offer. Including, a locally owned coffee shop, yoga studio, 24-hour gym, two wonderful full-service restaurants, wine shop, grocery store, pharmacy, and public library. All of these locations are right outside the door of 6 State. St. In addition, there are wonderful walking trails, tennis courts, basketball courts, soccer fields, full-size track, and green space galore, just a short walk behind the house. Tully also offers up some of the best hiking in Central New York at Highland Forest, Morgan Hill, and Labrador Hollow, just minutes away by vehicle or bike! And if you're with us during the winter months, Song Mountain Ski Resort will satisfy your need for speed on the slopes. The home itself has all you need and more, to be comfortable during your time with us. - "The house, property and host are all FIVE STARS. We had a wonderful and easy time with the stay. " - "Beautiful property with everything you need. However, there were a few functionality issues with the property. We were 5 people staying in a property listed to house 6 people. The hot water was a big issue with 5 people showering and scheduling water not getting cold. During every shower, the water would get cold, and then we would have to wait a while for the next person to shower. We were on a tight schedule, it was very problematic. Additionally, the shower head is installed where the opening of the shower is, and water would get on the entire floor of the bathroom, it would be wet and slippery, and we would have to dry up the entire floor every time, a nuisance and dangerous to slip on. I made the property owner, Nadine, aware of this issue, and she said just use towels, and it's not a big deal. "

- "We booked the Song Lake house for a four day period at the beginning of August and from start to finish, our expectations were met or exceeded on every point that's important for us. The house isn't particularly eye-catching from the outside (who cares anyway?) but the interior is gorgeous. We were a group of 12 and everyone had plenty of space. The beds are really comfortable, the master bedroom is spectacular, all the bathrooms are fresh and stylish, (no line-ups for the bathrooms as there are more than enough), the kitchen, dining area, lounge and games room seem almost too nice for a rental property and the views over the lake are stunning. The yard is right on the lake and if you're into fishing, you can catch all you want from the dock and the lake is great for swimming, paddleboarding and kayaking. The surrounding area has some nice spots to visit and if you're looking for a restaurant, I highly recommend Huega's Alpine, just 5 mins up the road. We'll be back ! "

This is Country Quiet that is also centrally located. We are in between Syracuse and Cortland, NY (15 miles to both off Interstate 81.) You will be put to sleep by bullfrogs and crickets but be able to hop on the highway and reach many destinations. For vacationers, we are at the edge of the Fingerlakes about 20 miles from Skaneateles, NY. Whether passing through or here for a short stay, our place will provide comfort and quiet.

The space
Our apartment is a cozy, comfortable, clean 2 bedroom that will accommodate 4 when 2 people sleep in the queen bedroom. There are 3 beds: one queen and two singles. There is central AC for hot days and central heating for the cold . There is a full kitchen for those who like to cook. Coffee, Tea, water and snacks are provided. The renovated bathroom is small but very clean and functional with a shower/bath combination. There is parking for up to two vehicles. . All beds have hypoallergenic/waterproof covers. The Queen bed has a new memory foam mattress. The twin beds are both memory foam mattresses with foam toppers. A reliable internet is provided. There are 2 smart TVs with You Tube TV provided. There is a private deck directly off the living room for sunning or star gazing. I have designed our apartment for comfort and invite you to enjoy!

The entire apartment is yours to enjoy. It is a second floor apartment so there are stairs to go up into the apartment. They are straight, carpeted stairs but guests will need to be able to navigate stairs easily.

Everything in the apartment is for your use: coffee, tea, snacks, water, etc. Please look through the cupboards and fridge and see what is there for you. If other guests have left supplies I leave them there for future guests. The laundry room is downstairs and usually locked but let me know if you will want to use it. The space
Unwind as a group in our spacious great room with spectacular lake views and vaulted ceiling. The open living room sports a large leather sectional with queen-size pullout, smart TV with streaming, desk work area, gas fireplace, and adjoins the dining area and kitchen.

Enjoy preparing meals in our fully equipped kitchen which includes a Keurig coffee maker with K-cups, dishwasher, island with gas cooktop and seating, and a dining table which seats 8.

The additional downstairs living room has a large sofa with another queen-size pullout, Smart TV with streaming, and walkout access to the lakefront with a covered porch area.

The master bedroom on the main floor has a king-size bed, smart TV, and an en suite bath with shower.

The second main floor bedroom has a queen bed, and is connected to a full bath with tub shower.

The downstairs has a bedroom with another queen-size bed, with lake views, easy access to the lakefront patio, as well as a full bathroom.

We have two kayaks and a canoe which we hope to make available to every renter. We cannot guarantee their availability, but we will try our best!

The spiral staircase connecting the two floors can be a bit tricky to navigate, but you can switch floors by going outside if you have an issue with it.

We have parking for two cars available on property. If you will have more than two cars please let us know in advance so we can make a plan. We want to be respectful to the neighbors and don’t want anyone to park on their property.

You will have access to the whole home. There is a great dining room table for eating and late night card games. The kitchen is fully stocked with appliances. The upstairs features two bedrooms and a full bathroom. Off the dining area is our huge log cabin style deck. The best part of the house in my opinion! Great for watching sunsets and taking in lake views. Downstairs is a nice bonus area. Sectional couch, mini fridge, big tv and another half bathroom. Lake access from this room as well! Washer and dryer are also downstairs.

Other things to note
There is great hiking a few miles away in the Labrador Hollow Unique Area. The town of Tully has a nice restaurant (Sweet Basil) and coffee shop (Bloomin Cup). Beak & Skiff winery, ciders & distillery is only 15 minute away and they have a great orchard in the fall as well.

The home's main entrance is up one flight of stairs. Enter into the great room with views all around. There is a large bedroom with en suite bathroom on the first floor, along with another full bathroom and laundry room. The second floor includes 3 more bedrooms, a sleeping loft, and the 3rd full bathroom.

The mountain backdrop features views of Song Mountain Ski Resort. The location right on the water welcomes swimming and fishing in the warmer months. Kayaks and Paddleboards are available! Waterski, wakeboard and tube with us (inquire for details/fee). Ask about bringing your boat too!

A few steps away is the master bedroom and full bath; perfect for guests who find stairs difficult or who want to be close to the exit (or canine companions).

You'll immediately feel relaxed in this open concept, cheerful kitchen, living and dining gathering space that overlooks the valley.

Upstairs is a unique loft with additional seating, an additional futon bed, a small library and floor space to play. There are 4 comfy bedrooms. A full, newly remodeled bathroom divided into 2 spaces and can comfortably accommodate several guests.

Toys for every age level are available to entertain the young ones. Well behaved dogs are allowed in the house. We ask that guests protect bedding from animal hair with a special covering. There are two friendly Golden Doodle dogs and a cat on premises. Dogs are kept with the hosts at all times.

Guests have full use of the entire first and second levels. Access to washer and dryer (for small loads) is in the basement where caretakers stay. The main entrance is shared with Mark and Sue however their belongings are kept in separate closets and there is minimal interaction as they quickly pass through.

We do allow small weddings with a maximum of 30 guests at the property, with an additional fee of $1,000 if you will have the ceremony at the property. Please note that we do not provide any other services.
