The location is perfect for those enjoying the activities in the area for the 2A community, just 7 miles down the road and you are there. There is a dollar general, grocery store, gas station and a good burger and ice cream joint all within a couple of miles. If you have any hesitation to reserve due to the owners living on site, do not hesitate. They are very amazing hosts, respectful of your privacy and happy to engage in conversation if you want. A place where you can get away from the city noise, traffic, and enjoy nature. At night sit around the fire pit with friends and family or during day time fishing on the lake where you can use our kayak, relax by the water and feel the wind coming from the lake. There are so many activities that you can do in our lake house so come and build new memories you can bring your boat or jetski and launch into a 3,500 acre of water lake reedy. For your convenience there is a boat ramp just two minutes away from the house, Supermarket, Dollar General, and McDonalds five minutes away and from the property.

Get all of your necessities at the grocery store right around the corner only a mile away. Sebring is also just a 10 minute drive up the road with several great choices in restaurants. Watch a rocket launch from the backyard all the way from Kennedy Space Center! Several golf courses nearby, 15 minutes from the Sebring Race Track. INTRO
Take in everything FL has to offer during your relaxing stay in Avon Park (Next door to larger sister city, Sebring) without dealing with daily coast and attraction traffic. Avon Park has a small town feel with a gazebo downtown and all. You'll also find a nice sandy beach with a park w/amenities on Main Street too. Scheduled senior activies available. The home is in a quiet neighborhood The street is conveniently located, but only one block long and thus does not get much traffic, usually just the (friendly) neighbors. You'll find the home is well-stocked. Feel free to use what's there, but please leave behind the rest for other guests.

OUTDOORS
You'll enjoy the privacy with the huge fenced yard on a 1/3 acre lot. A large covered patio area and lots of new outdoor furniture and a Weber grill helps ensure you can fully enjoy it. There is a large 2' deep kiddie pool, fits adults too, available for use (please put tarp down before using, pump provided). The yard is easily accessible from the sunporch or laundry room. Solar lights with motion sensors for your night time in the back (the front and side have street light). Remember to relax back in an antigravity chair to gaze at the stars.

SLEEPING AREAS
Main level: Split bedroom floor plan with with two suites. The master has a king-sized comfy bed, two night stands with bedside lamps. A tall and long dresser plus the large closet will meet all of your storage needs. Blackout curtains in bedroom in case you like to sleep in. If not, the sun will be shining, reminding you it's time to get up to enjoy the day. (Can't go wrong either way!).

The second bedroom is on the opposite end and is available with different sleeping options, currently set up with a king bed, dresser and built in desk area. (If an office is desired, the beds can be removed. A futon or a single bed are also possibilities). The bedroom is attached to the main bath, private bedroom access and hall access.

LOWER LEVEL*
Three rooms...The first is used the main entrance and doubles as a semi-private bedroom. It can be made private by simply entering the house through a different door. It contains a futon, shoe area with a cabinet and comfy chair. The second room is a dining area also perfect for games, puzzles, crafts, or an office space. The futon can be moved to this room or the autofill airbed can go in here.Lastly, the laundry room complete with washer, dryer, and a clothes line is available to you at no cost. Laundry supplies included. This room also stores lightbulbs and most extra things you may need.

MAIN LIVING AREA
KITCHEN
Open concept with kitchen and living room. The kitchen has a stove, fridge, and microwave. There is NOT a dishwasher, but believe me, you won't mind because you'll be relaxed standing on an anti-fatigue mat, looking out the window at palms and pines, while still visiting with those in the living room. The kitchen is fully stocked with seasonings, ketchup, mustard, sugar, and flour. Feel free to use whatever is available and please leave behind the rest.

LIVING ROOM
The living room has a large couch with three powered seats (note, the power control for lounger is on the left side between lounger and the wall, near the arm rest) so you can kick back and rejuvenate. The lounge can double as an extra bed if needed. Also has two chairs, one recliner and a rocker. The largest TV is currently in the master bedroom and other flat screens in the living room and second bedroom. They can be easily moved to other rooms (can customize set up based on your preferences). TVs are set up for streaming with the provided free high-speed internet.*Do not charge movies or anything else to my account.

THE SUN ROOM
Words cannot properly describe how enjoyable this room is. All of the windows open for temp control, feeling the cool breeze is extra sweet. After the sun goes down, relax in the ratan sofa, set up the card table for puzzles or games (Note, these chairs can be moved to other areas including outside. They hold 300 lbs). The room can get hot, but you can still enjoy at all times with the industrial fan. By sunset the room is usually down to comfortable temps in the 70s to low 80s. If you love waking up to the sun rise, a queen size self inflating air mattress (one total) is available. This room also stores shoes, beach towels, and other assorted items. The sunroom opens to the fenced-in yard.

ACTIVITIES (located 5 and 15 min away). Two parks with beach and picnic amenities. The lakes are mantained by the city and thus keep the beaches safe for swimmers and park visitors. (need to say that gators can be found in any body of water so if on the rare chance you spot one in the park, please tell me so I can report it. Gators are not common in Avon Park/Sebring).

There are so many activities within an hour's radius that it's not possible to list them all, but an activity guide is available upon request and can be emailed to you if you'd like to preplan. Most activities located very close involve nature, for example Hemlock State Park, 15 minutes away, and take the tour. (EVERYONE says how great the guided tour is). Sebring Race Way, speed way is quite close and an abundance of fishing options. Outside the immediate area youll find the ocean beaches are usually 1.5 hrs away from door to sand, both coasts. Tampa and Orlando are about the same.
If you've been to FL, you know what "depends on traffic means" but times are fairly accurate if avoiding the worst of rush hour traffic in those cities.

What you will enjoy most about Lake Reedy Living are the beautiful views of the lake from the Sunroom. Whether it is the sparkling sun glimmering on the water, the Bald Eagles that frequent the area or the fisherman enjoying their day in the lake…. the view is always inviting. There is a public boat ramp on the lake, not too far away and an area to pull up a boat on shore. There is a double carport for shaded parking and also plenty of room for your boat trailer.

Nearby Lake Wales has an airport that is very popular for skydiving and paramotoring. It is common to see these sky sports on your drive down highway 27.

- "This house was practically perfect! We had six people and could have got more. The house was spotless, had every convenience you could think of, and the owner even left us homemade cookies to welcome us with. It has numerous seating areas from which to look at the lake, the most impressive being an enormous brick deck with cozy chairs, hammocks, grill, picnic table and fire pit. The highlight of this home is its location right on a lake- and I don't mean some mucky alligator filled Florida lake. Lake Clinch is sandy bottom and clear as can be. We literally spent three days bobbing around on rafts in the water. Frostproof is a small town but everyone we ran into was friendly and it's a short drive to Lakeland, winter haven, and even Orlando isn't far. We love this area and this rental will be our go-to from now on."

The Home is vey comfortable for 1 to 6 people.
FLORIDA ROOM: Once you enter the home you will be standing in the Florida room which has been converted to a comfy tv viewing room with a large tv and reclining loveseat at the far end. And in the front is a 4 person dining area.
LIVING ROOM: Once you go up the 3 stairs you will be in the living room. There are 2 loveseats and a tv for your pleasure. If you have extra guest the 2 loveseats pull up to make 2 full size beds. Comfortable for 2 adults or 2-4 kids.
KITCHEN: The kitchen is fully stocked with all your cooking utensils if you desire to cook. The coffee hutch has 3 types of coffee makers so bring your ground coffee or beans or pods.
BATHROOM: The bathroom has a walk in shower and hand rails on the toilet if you need them and can be removed if not needed. Additional showers and restrooms available across the street on far side of club house.
BEDROOM: The main bedroom has a queen bed and lots of storage for your belongings.

You have the whole house for your use. We ask that the garage in back be off limits at this time. There is a club house across the street also has a lending library, a laundry facilities, and extra showers and restrooms.

We welcome pets and service dogs. Please notify Host prior to booking for approval. Unfortunately we can not allow Cats. Dogs and birds are approved any other animals please contact host before booking. You must clean up after your animals.

CLEAN As A Whistle & CUTE As A Button! This is a lovely open floor plan with boho décor, cathedral ceilings, chair railing and built-ins. The living room has a built-in desk and a area that can be partitioned off to be a guest room. The kitchen is bright with storage space and countertops. Walk-in shower with sliding glass doors, a linen pantry and vanity complete the bathroom of the home. The porch is a special place to enjoy; this peaceful woodland setting is a great place to observe wildlife.

Keep it simple at this centrally located home, in the 55+ Lilly Lake Golf Community.

Lily Lake is located just outside of Frostproof. The parks and beautiful lakes with friendly southern hospitality provide a contrast to the bustle of the busier tourist towns. Modern shopping centers provide a wide selection of goods. Healthcare facilities are nearby, as are churches, banks and convenience stores. Plus, a variety of restaurants and entertainment spots.

Orlando attractions are about 1.5 hrs.

The space
This home offers a living space with lake and sea decorations that has a love seat and 2 recliners.

A full kitchen with a countertop ice maker, Air Fryer, and crockpot for your convenience. Laundry room is off of the kitchen with a pantry.

The Master bedroom offers a walk-in closet and ensuite bathroom with double sinks, and a walk-in shower with seats. There is a TV in the master bedroom.

The main bathroom has a bathtub and single sink. The linen closets are stocked with new towels and each bed has 2 sets of new sheets.

The guest room is a queen size bed and has a closet and a dresser.

There is an enclosed porch with a couch and a fold away single bed for extra guests. (6 Max with permission.) You can open the windows and enjoy the breeze or keep them closed and open the sliding glass door for AC. On the Carport is a gas grill and table and chairs.

The home is actually a 3 bedroom, but one bedroom is locked and not accessible and the shed is not accessible. The rest of the home is full access to guests. There is a golf cart for your use in the park only.

The park has a golf course, a club house, a pool, a workout room and billiards room available for use.

Lily Lake is within easy driving distance of both Florida coasts, as well as most major attractions, such as Walt Disney World, EPCOT Center, SeaWorld, Universal Studios, Kennedy Space Center at Cape Canaveral, and Busch Gardens.

There is also LegoLand (formerly Cypress Gardens) with its world famous shows and flower gardens. Bok Tower Gardens features a beautiful park-like sanctuary with daily carillon concerts, and Highlands Hammock State Park offers a 3,800-acre wildlife refuge encompassing a virgin hardwood forest.

This quiet neighborhood home boasts comfortable living spaces and a Lake Reedy view you will never get tired of. This house is 1365 square feet. The living area is open to the kitchen and dining areas making the space feel roomy. The sunroom has three sides of windows for a comfy view of the lake and all of its wildlife. Birdlife is abundant, often seen are the Bald Eagle, Osprey, Great Blue Heron, White Ibis, Great White Heron, Kingfisher and the Cormorant.

In addition to the whole house, there is the lake to enjoy. Fishing from the shore is possible if you don’t have a boat or walk to the community dock. Kayaks and canoes can be easily launched from the shore. There is a public boat ramp for boats about a mile away.
