What a gem! We recently purchased this property and have been working hard to get it ready for our guests. We have been in the nightly rental business since 2003 and we know how to make our guests comfortable
If you like to Fish, Kayak, Swim, Boat, or just need a relaxing few days you will love our place. We are located on the North side of Cypress Cove Marina about an easy 1 minute walk to the water where you can fish, swim, or launch your boat.
We have a charcoal grill but we do not furnish charcoal or starter fluid. You can relax in our hammock or sit around the firepit and discuss the size of the fish you caught.
You will not need to go by Wal Mart and spend hundreds getting the supplies you will need for your stay. We furnish hand soap, bath soap, laundry detergent, dishwasher soap, paper towels, toilet paper, Kleenex, zip lock bags, trash bags, aluminum foil, coffee, salt and pepper, and more. We basically furnish everything you will need except food. If you do need supplies it is 15 minutes to Wagoner or 20 minutes to Muskogee where you will find several major Stores and Restaurants.
Our kitchen is completely furnished with silverware, cooking utensils, pots and pan, plates, dishes, and glasses. We have a Coffee Pot, Crock Pot, Instant Pot, and a Barbeque Grill but we do not furnish charcoal. We furnish all towels and linens.
We do not have cable but we have high speed internet and 3 smart TVs that will allow you to stream your favorite shows. We have a 65” smart tv in the living room and a 32” smart tv in the 2 main bedrooms. We have games and toys for the kids and a pack n play for the baby. We also have an electric fireplace.
NOTE: The tub in the bathroom is large but it is NOT a Jacuzzi.The tub is tall and may be a problem for some guest to get in and out.
The bedrooms are small but very comfortable. We have a king in the master, a Queen in the second bedroom, and a Full in the 3rd bedroom. Each bedroom has a brand new mattress as of July 2024.
There is plenty of room behind the house to park a couple of boats with electric available if you need it. You can also rent kayaks at the Cypress Cove Marina and they have live music most weekends.

There is a public boat ramp .2 miles down the road and a public sandy swimming beach just 1/2 a mile away. Come relax in this charming two bedroom/two bath cabin on Lake Fort Gibson (40 min from Tulsa). This secluded, cozy get-away is a few short steps from our private dock and access to the excitement and fun of summer water sports, fishing and 1/2 mile from the Ft. Gibson Wildlife Management Area for hunters; or gather in comfy seating creating memories with family and friends around board games, wall-sized projector movies, or the warmth of a crackling fire. PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING: Yes, the Cabin really is as charming and cozy and beautiful as the photos. You will feel the warmth of our family’s 3 generations of happy and loving memories. I’m biased, but many guests use the word “magical” and “special”.

But to help you understand if the Cabin is your cup of tea: the beds are comfortable, the heat and air work great, the projection system is awesome BUT this is a rustic cabin, in the woods, on a lake. There is no dishwasher and you will most likely see a spiderweb outside the cabin as they form every night. There is no landscaping in the woods and you might see or hear real wildlife. And, although the Cabin will be thoroughly cleaned just before your arrival- occasionally, you may see a bug or spider inside the cabin after a day or two. If you feel like that might disturb you then the cabin may not be what you’re looking for.

Our intention for our family is not to make the cabin luxurious. For our family it’s a retreat to get away from the noise and pace of our lives- to unplug with friends and family and create meaningful memories in a space of carefree timelessness. We love being close to nature and exploring and engaging the wildlife and lake around the cabin. If that’s your aim I’m confident you’ll love your stay as well. I want guests to love their stay (almost everyone does!) so I hope this helps.

Our charming, No pets, lake cottage is located on a bluff over looking beautiful Ft Gibson Lake. The home has 2BR, and 2BA with a third room that hosts 2 single beds. The master bedroom has an attached bathroom. A second full bath is located in the center of the home. The kitchen is fully equipped with range top and oven, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, and microwave oven, as well as other small appliances. We provide a full size fridge with ice maker. The cabinets are stocked with kitchen linens, cookware, dishes, and storage containers. The laundry room has a new full size washer and dryer for your use. The cottage is located in a community with quiet neighbors and lake life charm. Come and enjoy fishing, boating, water skiing, and wake boarding or just relax with the sites and sounds of the lake. There are 5 public boat launch ramps within 2 miles for easy access to the water. Muskogee an Wagoner are both approximately 12 miles away for shopping, dining, movies, and museums. As an extra, we own property across the street that allows for ample parking for our anglers and recreational boaters.

- "Cabin in the Woods was home to the best vacation my family and I have ever had. We are Okies so this was more of a stay-cation (our go-to is Florida or Colorado) but it was amazing. Bald Eagle sightings, deer greeting us in the mornings, fishing within 100 yards and the hosts are very generous and so gracious. We packed more than we needed for four nights but if we had forgotten anything, it would have been here. Cabin is rustic, beautiful, close to everything but also somehow remote. It is also absolutely spotless. We hope the cabin is available again soon. My kids want to move in! We just might skip Destin or Tampa for this place if we get the chance."
