This part of southern Indiana is so unique. The view reminds us of our many trips to eastern TN. We never get tired of seeing wild turkeys and white-tailed deer walking across the front yard. Since we are a mile off the main road and at the end of the lane, no traffic passes by. Couples and families have enjoyed our cabin. With solid log construction and wood through-out, this cabin is set apart from others.

A few things to note - given the remote nature of this property, there is not currently internet in the area. We are on the waitlist for Starlink and hope to have it soon. Cell service can be spotty in the cabin but I usually have 1-2 bars that is good enough for texts and calls. Other phone usage can be limited. There is one large hill on the gravel county road leading back to the cabin. I take my Ford Fusion Hybrid back there all the time so access isn’t an issue outside of heavy snow conditions (4x4 recommended then) but want guests to be aware of the terrain.

This cabin is only 1 mile from downtown French Lick and is very easy to access. We are pet friendly and have plenty of property for nice walks in nature. There is also enough parking space to bring your boat along. Our fast wifi makes it great for those working remote as well as for additional entertainment when your busy day of tourism comes to and end. The renovated fully stocked kitchen has a dining nook and coffee station including a French press and Keurig. The living room features a reading area, fireplace, sleeper sofa, and is a perfect place for a family game night. Both bedrooms have queen beds and the front bedroom offers a unique workspace for checking emails.

Bird’s Eye View was built in 1915 during the era where two major resort hotels were undergoing rebuild and expansion projects. Nestled atop S. Virginia Avenue, Bird’s Eye View offers just that, a splendid view of French Lick Resort. We encourage you to take a peek at some of the coffee table books describing the rich history of the region. The owned and adjoining wooded property provides a retreat with local wildlife including chipmunks, squirrels. deer, a wide variety of birds, including cardinals, blue birds, robins, hummingbirds and owls.

Our family fell in love with this cottage the moment we saw the front porch, which happens to be our favorite room. We took pride in the renovation projects with the property including restoring the hardwood floors in the bedrooms (under four layers of carpet and glued pads) and stripping multiple layers of paint from the mantle. We left the original oil pane windows intact in the living room and front bedroom. They add a historic feature and decorative aspect to the home. ** Please note, due to the steep incline of the street and the distance between the back driveway and side door, this property may not be suitable for individuals who require assistive devices for walking or have difficulty with balance.

- "The Villas are right behind the French Lick Resort. Never knew they were there until we found them on VRBO. The scenery and views are amazing, as well as the amenities. The villas are very spacious with plenty of room for all. We didn't use the sauna, but that was a nice touch. The balconies are nice, as well. My only complaint is that the villas were a little dated and could use a little TLC. But overall, an enjoyable stay! Thank you!" - "Check in was easy, Kayla was very helpful. Renovated 400 sq ft studio cottage. Only 5 minutes from Paoli Peaks, you can see the lights from the backyard. A community park is nearby with a walking track and woodland trail. Property is located adjacent to an old cemetery. Rural area, within 30 minutes hiking, canoeing and caving. French Lick Casino is a 15 minute drive. There is a Ring Doorbell with video recording at the door.

And there is a historic cemetery occupying the neighboring lot. Maybe an issue for some people, but I actually found it peaceful and reflective."

The space
The cabin is off the grid. no cell service, no tv. You should bring in drinking water. the water on tap should be used for cleaning and bathing only. On 5 acres very peaceful. Water- Winter Due to below freezing temps in the winter you may not have running water There is a filtered rain water collection system with 300 gallon tanks that should be used for cleaning and bathing only .. Keep showers to a miniumum , hot water heater is powered by execess solar power... Power - You have 3000 watts of solar and 600 watts of wind power .. You should to be conscious how much power you use especially on cloudy, rainy or snowy days,(unless you rent our generator or bring your own) Appliances should only be used one or two at a time depending on appliance.. You are living off the Grid and it is dependent on mother nature if there is no rain or below freezing temps you may not have any water. if it’s cloudy you may have limited power. AC units are designed to work during the day and may or may not work all night without a generator(upstairs ac unit is on the backup system and has worked through the night). Please note you are renting the cabin as is , no guarantees of any kind . Cabin is still a work in progress, livable but not 100% finished (See pictures). There are 3 Queen size beds, Two in the lofts and one in the bedroom and one full size futon ..There is a charcoal and gas grill available you supply the charcoal) Please contact me with any questions before renting. Cabin is Dog friendly however while outside they must be kept on a lead. Did just add wifi so you do have internet if you want . Just installing 2 lif04 200 amp 12 volt batteries on the 12 volt side. Plenty of power to run an ac unit along with the fridge all night and have power in the morning for coffee.

Reconnect with nature at this Tiny home for an unforgettable escape on our farm property. Sit out on the 350 sq ft covered porch with your coffee and watch the wildlife. Plenty of parking for your car, truck, Rv, semi or trailer. Enjoy the full tub/shower and washer/dryer with lots of storage. The kitchen has a fridge, electric stove, microwave and a dishwasher sink combo. Sit and watch tv with a pull up coffee table and a 55 inch tv. Enjoy the queen bed with a tv and a nice closet.

You have full use of the tiny home and the deck. The garage has nothing to do with the rental. Do not park in front of the garage. You have use of the yard from the orange post markers about 30 ft off the back deck all the way to S Mount Zion Church rd. Look at the last picture in the listing for the boundaries please.

The yard around the house is mowed. We do not and will not mow the entire farm like a city park for your dog to play. It is a farm in the country and the fields do grow and are cut for hay. WARNING!! There are insects and ticks on the property since it is in the country. Any time you are outside you run the risk of encountering insects, ticks and wildlife. Ticks do not live indoors. We are not responsible for any ticks that were brought into the home by a pet or person. Lady bugs and Stink Bugs are everywhere in this area all year long. You will probably see one outside or even inside. It doesn’t matter what you do in our area they still get inside. You do not have use of the garage. You do not have use of the farm. Renting this house does not give you permission to hunt on our farm. You will be turned in for poaching and trespassing if you decide to hunt.

This isolated, rural setting is great for a single or couple who want a quiet peaceful retreat. The apartment is located at the end of a 1/3 mile driveway on a 165 acre farm. The farm has a 40 acre crop field, 100 acres of woods and 25 acres of pasture land all full of wildlife.
The northern boundary presents a challenging hike to a wide creek bed with geodes and other treasures imbedded.

The space
Guest have their own deck with umbrella,table, seating, and use of a grill. They can walk over 160 acres and can be hiking through wooded area and creeks. They can also hike on a rural public road to John Hay Lake, a 300 acre fishing lake. Wildlife is plentiful.

This home sits on top of a hill in the woods. It is attached to our pole barn and it is barndominium cabin/home. It is about .5 mile off the main road on a gravel road. It is very peaceful and nice and feels like you are camping in the woods. We have a fire pit in the woods and you can access 1 acre of the property. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Each room has a queen bed and we have a queen air mattress. No parties allowed or over 6 people. Central air and heat.

The space
You will drive .5 mile on a gravel road to the house. You turn off of S Mount zion church rd and drive 300 to 400 yards on an easement road past a single wide trailer to get back to our gate and property. The gate has a lock on the chain it is not locked shut. You take the chain out of the slot and unwrap it and open the gate. I can drive it in our minivan with no issues. Drive slow as you start on the gravel road because it has a dip in the road. When you get to the top of the hill you can park right in front of the porch. Plenty of room to park or if you have a trailer you will have plenty of room. Please do not park in front of the second shop door.
The porch has a bench and a rocking chair. The fire pit has 4 chairs around it. When you enter the home you walk into the family dining area that goes into the kitchen. As you go down the hall The second bedroom is on the right and down the hall is the bathroom and laundry room. You have to go through the bathroom to get to the master bedroom in the back. It is like a shotgun style home.
You do have to drive on a gravel road and you do cross over a culvert for a creek and it is very important to stay on the gravel road. Reflectors have been put where the creek is located. You are not driving through a creek just over one on the gravel road. You are in the woods. You might see a turkey, deer, coyote, bobcat etc. with being in the woods you might find a lady bug or a stink bug. The house is very sealed and has been treated but these little guys seem to find a way in no matter what.
During the summer Indiana has all kinds of bugs and you are in the woods so stay out of the tall grass and stay on the gravel path in the woods to the fire pit.
We have marked the property with orange reflector sticks. Please do not go beyond those reflector sticks as you might be wondering on someone’s property. The fire pit is to the north in the woods. Feel free to have a fire and to use any wood on the ground from fallen branches or buy wood at a store in salem. Most gas stations carry wood.
We have provided wood in the past but unfortunately enough wood to last many months has been burnt in one weekend.
Please do not put trash in the fire pit. Next to the front porch we have bricks that go around the water shut off valve. It is not a fire pit and has bricks inside it and an orange flag. Do not use it as a fire pit please.

You have access to the entire home. Our pole barn is attached to the home. You do not have access to the pole barn. We have access to the pole barn from a man door on the opposite side and garage doors. We usually are not in the pole barn much as it is used for storage and if we do need to get into it we don’t need access from the home and would be accessing the shop area from 8 am to 8 pm. This is a farm property and we do need to mow and maintain roads etc. We can have heavy rains and if the rain messes up the gravel road we would need access to the pole barn after hours to get tools to fix any issues. Please do not go beyond the orange reflector markers. No more guest than what is on the reservation and No parties. If you have a party or more people than on the reservation you will be asked to leave immediately with no refund or a negative review from you breaking the rules.

Other things to note
We love sharing this home with guests. Remember you do have to drive down an easement road and it has a dip in it at the start. The gate has a chain around it and it has a lock on one chain link but it is not locked shut. You just take the chain out of the slot and unwrap it and open the gate. You can leave the gate open or shut it. Drive up to the house. When you arrive you will walk into the living room that leads into the kitchen. As you walk down the hallway the first bedroom is on the right. Down the hall you walk into the bathroom that leads to the master bedroom in the back of the home. You do have to walk through the bathroom to get to the master bedroom. Please read that again and don’t leave a bad review when we have pictures and described it multiple times. It is the way the home was built. The pictures show the home. Renting this home does not give you access to the entire farm property. It does not give you any rights to hunt on the property. You will need to stay on the gravel road and gravel area at the top by the house. You do not need to drive off the main gravel road and if you do and get stuck it is on you. You need to stay within the orange reflector poles in the yard and woods please. Thank you.

If you go play in the fields in Indiana you might get a bug bite or ticks. It is a farm in Indiana. If you play in the grass in the yard you might get a tick on you, a tick bite or a tick attached. It is a farm and fields in Indiana. The entire property is not mowed besides when it is cut for hay. Around the house is mowed and the area you need to stay in please. Orange markers are up to show you where to not go past. It is a farm and we will not mow the entire property besides from the paved road to the gravel road in front of the house. The fields might have insects or ticks. You might hear a frog or a coyote etc. It is in the country. You might see a mosquito, grasshopper, spider, ant, opossum, raccoon, turtle etc. I can’t list everything and it is not a park in a city. The fields do grow because grass grows during the summer. If you want to play in the field you might get a bug bite or a tick that is up to you and a risk you take with being in the country in a field outside. It is in the country and a farm. We do not mow the entire property. We will mow around the house and most people are very happy with that. Thank you.

The yard around the house is mowed. We do not and will not mow the entire farm like a city park for your dog to play. It is a farm in the country and the fields do grow and are cut for hay. WARNING!! There are insects and ticks on the property since it is in the country. Any time you are outside you run the risk of encountering insects and ticks. Ticks do not live indoors. We are not responsible for any ticks that were brought into the home by a pet or person.

Aloft is located on the edge of the Hoosier National Forest, minutes from hiking trails and Ski Paoli Peaks. Located about 20 minutes from French Lick Resort and Casino, Patoka Lake, Marengo Cave and Cave Country Canoes. You’ll love the loft because of the country setting, nestled in the trees. The loft is very comfortable and offers peace and quite with a contemporary, calming atmosphere. The loft is great for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids).

The loft is a separate, private building located adjacent to the main house Entry to the loft requires about 16 steps to an outdoor deck that offers great views of the property. The loft is about 600 square feet of open space. There is one queen bed and a queen sleeper sofa in the space. There is a fully furnished kitchen and entertainment space. There is a spacious private bathroom with tub and shower. The loft also has a washer/ dryer and T.V. with DVD player . Guest control the temperature with central air and heat.

The cabin sits on a full acre of property with mature fruit trees and flowers blooming from spring until fall. It has a covered front porch and open back patio with sitting areas. Inside it has a full kitchen with a gas stove. The living room has two twin sized sofa beds for extra guests.

This cabin is great for all four seasons. The area is quiet and peaceful. Although sometimes there will be noises from four wheelers/dirt-bikes in the area. This cabin can fit up to four or five people. Studio like interior with a cabin exterior. This place is very cozy and warm, with lots of nature around the area. It is also 15-20 minutes away from French Lick, Indiana!

The space is warm and cozy, very much a cabin feel. There are 3 beds total: a hanging bed and both couches are pull out beds. The space includes a kitchen, fridge, microwave, full bathroom, ceiling fan, TV, wifi, air conditioning, and heat. We added an outdoor fireplace! If you plan on using the fireplace please bring own firewood 🪵! There is also a grill to use outside & we provide some grilling utensils to use, if you plan to use grill please bring own charcoal.

Nothing has been missed in this NEW tiny cabin! Queen bed in the loft (please make sure you are able to climb the library like ladder), full bathroom, kitchenette with everything you could want, and a lounge area. As awesome as the inside is, we think you'll enjoy the outside even more. Swing in the swing, sit by the fire or grill the perfect steak in the outdoor kitchen…this is it... the place to getaway!

We have a sister property called Southern Grace Cabin. Both of our properties are secluded with separate driveways and entrances. You cannot see either property from the other one even with leaves off the trees.

The cabin is situated in a quiet setting where you can enjoy nature. Enjoy the expansive front porch that overlooks a wooded area. It is equipped with many essentials so you can feel like you are home away from home. You can take in all the beauty that Spring Mill State Park has to offer by hiking the trails or visiting the historic village in the park.

Offering the lower floor of the Paoli's original Carnegie library on Paoli's historic Court House Square. The main space is one large room with kitchenette & full bath. We're calling the decor 'industrical country chic'. Bright colors and comfort abounds. There is space for 4 to 6 with one queen, and two full beds. Windows are garden level.
(Note: tub/shower has high sides, plenty of grab bars).
Entrance is on ground level at the rear of the building with offstreet parking for up to six cars.

The space
Are you interested in bringing your group to participate in a retreat or workshop, or want space to rehearse, write or stretch your creativity? The upper floor is also available for an additional fee. It is accessible by stairs and elevator. The upstairs is one large open room with optional seating for up to 50. It has an additional bathroom and a serving counter with sink and mini-fridge. It is home to a petite baby grand piano and serves as a gallery for the artwork of Annemarie Mahler.
This is an excellent area for small group retreats, art classes, rehearsals or small events.

The William is a completely renovated and restored home. You will find refinished hardwood floors and new finishes; a charming fireplace and hearth (not used), and touches of old and new world throughout. This is a very functional house with a chef's kitchen and beautiful stainless steel appliances. The house offers comfy sheets, thick towels and beauty surrounding in this space to be with friends and family. There are extra spaces and nooks to take in the world or relax and breathe.

He loves all things water and sky, so the blue is a nod to the wakeboarding, waterfall jumping, airplane flying and skydiving adventure spirit he has. Close to town but on 13 acres of open land. The cabin was built on our family farm as a way to share the property with others. The cabin was built with Airbnb in mind so although it truly is a cabin, the building itself is designed for 3 separate short term rentals. 2 of which are complete with a third coming soon. This unit is one of the upstairs units and is super unique and fun. Minutes from golf , tennis, patoka lake ( the 2 nd largest in Indiana) plenty of parking for boats and rv’s

This unit is upstairs and on the west side of the cabin. This unit and the lower unit do not share any space except for the fire pit and parking area. Guests will access this unit with a PIN that will be used on the electronic door knob. Code will be sent to guest prior to arrival.

Fire pit is for everyone to use. Make yourself at home and use the entire property as there is a lot of room to explore. 13 acres

Walking distance to French Lick Hotel, this house is completely redone with high end finishes and professional interior design. You will find two beautifully appointed bedrooms, each with their own custom bathroom. The master bedroom opens to a large master bath with separate soaking tub.

The living room, dining area and kitchen are open concept and a great place to relax with friends after a round of golf at the hotel or a relaxing spa treatment there. The Caroline is a beautiful home.

French Lick is a great town to walk - mostly flat and the house is close to the historic French Lick Hotel. We are across from the elementary school playground so you will hear occasional laughter and kids-enjoying-life sounds over there during their recess. Park out front, though you are also welcome to park in the back off of the alley behind the house - either works. There are 6 steps to get to the front door, and they are an older "rise/run" - they will feel taller than today's construction, but there is a railing. The neighborhood is safe, but I recommend locking the house as a habit.
