Everybody that we communicated with was very nice and courteous. They were also attentive. We had one small discrepancy, but we called up to the front office to security, and it was fixed immediately no more than 5 minutes. The only problem my wife had was there were no TVs in the cabins, but we understand that they are trying to give a camping feel and when you are out camping there are no TVs. Understood! Other than that we had an awesome time, and we will be back. we are actually planning something for a family outting there in the summer of 2025. OUR GUEST HOUSES ARE ALL TOGETHER, so if you have a group that want to be together, but in separate houses, you can rent more than one next door to each other.
We have our deluxe Pontoon boat we rent exclusively to our guests, when available. We also keep kayaks, watermats, a canoe, and a paddleboat available for our guests to rent when conditions permit.

Our complaints would mostly be with the property itself as it wasn’t really kept up very well. We walked past dog poop in the hallway near the parking ramp which was disgusting. Having to park in a ramp was a pain. Then we’re notified that the property mgmt needed to come into the apt while we were there and were asked to keep it quiet that we were part of a VRBO rental. Also we’re notified mid way that we needed to provide our vehicle information so she could register us as guests. Just seemed a little shady and made us uncomfortable. We won’t be using this property again."

I have asked her for a refund on several occasions and have been lied to each time, first she was going to Venmo me the money then it was she was going to PayPal the refund and lastly she used Vrbo. After several attempts to reach her once I was on my way and had arrived at the property, I had no choice but to check in to a hotel just before midnight. We even walked up to the unit and knocked. Fortunately the VRBO support team took care of me but this host completely ghosted us. At one point she picked up the phone but then immediately hung up on me and it sounded like she was out at a bar or crowded area. After that, she blocked my calls and ignore attempts to reach her to access the unit. VRBO said they would take serious action but this listing is on several travel/stay sites so buyer beware."

Owners manage 7 lake houses here, where we also live. Great lakeview/lakefront home for those that need temporary housing, short getaway, or a cheaper long term rate. The lake is across the street for easy access. In the Winter there are amazing sunsets from the porch. It is 2 bedroom and 1 bath house. The inside of the house is painted and decorated to give a calm relaxing feel. Bedrooms have queen beds. Full sized washer and dryer, wifi, and satellite TV. Pets are allowed. There is a small fenced area for pets, with a doggie door. Pets must be approved ahead of time. There is a $100 per pet fee.

The neighborhood was built in the 60's when Lake Lewisville was new. It consisted of weekend cabins and remained that way until about 20 years ago. A large part of the people in the neighborhood are the original families that built their cabins. It's a neighborhood where everyone knows each other. From the beginning it was an area for families to come and enjoy the lake, family and friends and make lasting memories. Since the early days Frisco and Little Elm have gradually surrounded our tiny area creating a hidden gem. There are a few houses that may seem a little rundown, but we kindheartedly like to refer to those as our camouflage.

We will definitely plan to stay there on our next visit to Frisco." - "The photos online were great. A bit misleading to know that no photos of the exterior or backyard weren’t provided as well. It’s an extremely old home, which is ok, but the condition of the home inside and outside was just poor. Immediately when we arrived we noticed outlet plates exposed, the locks to the outdoor patio and gates weren’t even operable, cobwebs all throughout the house (bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchens) including the baseboards. The large cabinet in the kitchen wasn’t even fastened to the wall. And in the master bedroom closet as it turned out it was cat urine embedded in the floor that was masked by an air freshener. It took both my wife and I couple days to figure out what the smell was. Even the garage was a completely mess. Waking out to the garage the door was paper thin and didn’t even lock. That was never fixed when we were staying at the house but was documented and send to the owner. The only positive out of this bad experience was the owner sent his handyman out to fix the punch list items and I brought to his attention. And he did send out a landscape crew to come mix the grass because it was very long. This should have been done prior to our arrival. I, the renter, should not have been the one having documenting everything and requesting it be done while we’re in the house. Would I rent here again, NO, and for the price I could have a better experience at the hotel downtown the street and it was pet friendly as well."

100% NO smoking or vaping anywhere inside of the house.

1. To keep your health and our floor clean, bring your own indoor slippers etc so you can ware them when you are home .

2. Only keep water in your room - Any food, snacks or other drinks must be eaten at the dining area or kitchen.

3. Keep the bathroom clean - take out your own bathroom trash to the trash bin in the back alley.

4. If you use the kitchen:
- Only simple meals or light cookings - Microwave, boil water; no heavy stove-top cooking!
- Clean up the kitchen after every use - leave it as clean as you found it.
- Take out the trash when it is full to the trash bin in the backyard (go through the door of the kitchen). Don't leave it for others to do!

5. Quiet Hours: 10:00 PM - 7:00 AM (including common areas like kitchen, laundry and bathroom.) Do NOT do laundry during quiet time.

6. Take extra care of room keys. Lost keys incur a replacement fee for $50.

7. Take care of the furnishings. You have to pay for damages that exceed the security deposit.

The space
This private bedroom fully furnished with a comfortable twin size bed, a classic mattress, a nice size office desk & chair, a dresser & more.

Face to south with a plenty sunshine and nature lights, this private bedroom has a private entrance from the backyard of the house.
Enjoy your morning coffee or evening reading time at the back patio.

**This listing is ONLY for the bedroom. Any other common areas in the house like kitchen, laundry room & living etc are shared w/other guests.

Our house and rooms are always professionally cleaned and restocked after each guest to ensure a great stay.

Guest access
The common areas are including a living room, a kitchen, a dining area and a laundry room. The upgraded kitchen is equipped with almost everything for your simple meal & breakfast or any light meals (no heavy fry stove-top cooking please)

Please make use to keep these common areas clean after you use it.

The front door has keyless entry so don't worry about late check-ins. Your personalized key code will be used for entry at any time during your stay.

There is free parking in the front and side of the house but only one parking spot available for each booking. If you have an additional car then it’s your responsibility to find a parking space off of the street.

*Due to insurance purposes, the fireplace in the home is not available for guests to use.

HOUSE RULES

We kindly ask you to read our house rules carefully and keep them in mind during your stay.

100% NO smoking or vaping anywhere inside of the house.

1. To keep your health and our floor clean, bring your own indoor slippers etc so you can ware them when you are home .

2. Only keep water in your room - Any food, snacks or other drinks must be eaten at the dining area or kitchen.

3. Keep the bathroom clean - take out your own bathroom trash to the trash bin in the back alley.

4. If you use the kitchen:
- Only simple meals or light cookings - Microwave, boil water; no heavy stove-top cooking!
- Clean up the kitchen after every use - leave it as clean as you found it.
- Take out the trash when it is full to the trash bin in the backyard (go through the door of the kitchen). Don't leave it for others to do!

5. Quiet Hours: 10:00 PM - 7:00 AM (including common areas like kitchen, laundry and bathroom.) Do NOT do laundry during quiet time.

6. Take extra care of room keys. Lost keys incur a replacement fee for $50.
