Getting around by car is extremely easy. Some of our guests take an Uber/Lyft from the airport.

This family friendly home is close to downtown Fuquay, all the parks and restaurants, as well as nearby schools, and easy access to Raleigh, Cary and Apex. The lot is wooded and located on a small cul-de-sac so there is plenty of privacy, and room for kids to run around, with a play set in the back. We just renovated the kitchen and all bathrooms!

This home is located 11 miles from Campbell University, 11 miles to Central Harnett Hospital, 24 miles to Wake Med Raleigh, 16 miles to Wake Med Cary and 20 miles to Betsy Johnson Hospital, all drive time. There is parking for 3 cars on the concrete pad on the right side as you enter the driveway. Please do not block the driveway, this allows everyone to leave the property without blocking each other. Downtown Fuquay Varina is about 5 miles drive give or take depending on the direction you take. It has a Festive downtown life with restaurants, brewery and shopping. There is also a Super Walmart, Harris Teeter, several local gyms, Chick-fil-A, McDonald’s, Wendy’s, Burger King, Cookout and several Chinese restaurants etc. etc. Smoking and pets are not allowed in this home or on property.

!!Please note: The property is in between and next to a quiet neighborhood and a busy 2 lane highway. You will hear traffic while on the property. The M-F traffic is pretty busy for commuters to downtown, but weekends are quieter.

Ceiling height in the center of the bus is 6’4”. With the angle of the shower ceiling, if you are taller than 6’ you may need to hunch a little while showering.

Although the bus is insulated,..with all the numerous windows it can still get cold in the winter and hot in the summer! There is heat and AC, and extra blankets, but please consider bringing warm slippers to wear in the winter months as the floors stay pretty cold even when the heat is running.

Also, there is occasional construction work and traffic near the property during the weekday daytime hours.

Please note there is no railing going up/down the three stairs into the bus.

Dog guidelines
We love dogs and are happy to have them in our rental. With that said we do have several guidelines we would like for you to look over and agree upon before we agree to have them stay with us.
Please tell us about your dog before booking. What type of dog, behaviors, how many dogs you would be bringing, and so on. We are unable to host guests with puppies under 6 months of age.

We charge $25 per pet, per stay for an extra cleaning fee. We may charge more if you have large breed dogs that shed more than most. With dogs in the rental it takes us a longer amount of time to clean. Making sure the house is free of dog hair, slobber, and so on. We take pride in making sure our rentals stay clean for other guests.

We do NOT want dogs on beds. This is a huge rule for us. It is very hard to get dog hair off of bedding. Please keep in mind other guests without dogs stay at our rentals. If we have to replace bedding/ comforter because dog slept in bed you might be billed for replacing the bedding. Also make sure if you are not using some of the bedding to place it in the closet not on the floor where they can lay on it.

Your dog must have tick and flea protection before coming.

Your dog must be recently washed and brushed well before coming.

Clean up all dog waste. There are bags near the side door.

Please don't wash your dog in our tubs/showers. This clogs up the pipes. On nice warm days use the outside hose at the rental. Winter time there are places around Fuquay you can take your dog to and wash them yourselves.

Do not let dogs run wild. They must be on a leash at all times while in the yard.

This home is in a very quiet neighborhood. There are no parties or large gatherings allowed.

Parking: There are 4 parking spaces and street parking

Smoking: This is a non-smoking home. You may vape or smoke outside, If home ends up smelling like tobacco, you will be charged an extra fee to remove the smoke smell from the home.

This is a no pet home. Failure to follow this rule will incur a $300 fee and cost of getting out pet smell.

We are happy to welcome well-seasoned guests over the age of 25 . Children are welcome, but no extra measures have been taken to make this home child-friendly. Please enjoy at your own risk.
