- "The cabin was secluded and quiet, lovely location, and a beautiful sunroom. We were two adults and a baby, and a cat. It was clean and well stocked with linens and utensils. Our baby did well as it was kid friendly. Small but compact and everything was in good working order. WiFi was good. It was close to Mine Kill State Park. We enjoyed our stay very much. The only thing we would suggest is removing the trophy animals (three deer heads and a turkey). Not everyone is comfortable with such things. We did not like looking at these dead animals constantly. That’s the only thing which prevents us from booking this cabin again. The rest was great. Thanks. "

- "On the pictures it look like a morden and clean place. Reality old place with some makeup, very dusty, bed clothing realy smelly and dusty and full mice! " - "No yard. no water view through the trees. the busy highway was 20 feet from the front door. Heard traffic all night. Not clean. Communication very poor with owner. Check in was supposed to be at 3 pm. Didn’t get code to the door until almost 6pm. " - "The property is further than listed from all locations in driving time and it is across from the reservoir but you cannot see or access. The property is directly on a 55 MPH road with regular traffic. One neighbor, with outside flood lights and 4 big dogs. (this was good or it would have been very dark. and a bit creepy with the abandoned restaurant on the other side) The house has been renovated with a nice big screen TV and large leather sectional, oddly situated for viewing. New stove, refrigerator and microwave. The cleaning service is wanting, they never clean under the beds, sofa and all the windows had dead flies or ladybugs on them. This house has bare minimum of supplies, bring everything except trash bags. The pots/pans, non-stick are all scratched and the coating has been compromised rendering them all unusable. No washer dryer which is ok for short stays only. I booked nearly 3 weeks, couldn't wash the 6 six towels they left or the only sheets on the beds. No closets, hangers. House sleeps 8, put up some hooks for coats etc!. No wine glasses or wine bottle opener, just the absolute basics and mostly plastic. In closing they have AC units in two living room windows, poorly installed and extremely drafty, you can view the curtains blowing. I wouldn't stay here again and I left the house two days early, cleaner than when I arrived."

- "Loved this place! Everything was great. Game room was a blast for everyone. Very clean." - "Overall the place is nice but few things that could be improved and things people should know. The game room is a separate building to the house, it’s the garage next to the house so just be prepared to going in and out especially in the winter when everything is muddy and need to take your shoes off in the house. Also the PAC Man game was not working but it’s a great space overall There is no BBQ at the house and the oven was not cleaned because when we used it there was so much smoke coming from bottom of the oven and when we pay such high fee for cleaning that disappointing We had booked for 10 but could not find bed linen for the pull out sofas The hot tub is in the glass house behind the garage and there is not lights so if using at night it’s dangerous as place is so muddy around the house and even inside the glass house so hot tub was dirty and no where to hang your towel I think if they just put down a tonne of gravel around the house this would help with a lot of the muddy spots The wood burning fire was not working, one of the sliding doors we couldn’t get opened Also we were told you cannot flush toilet paper so be prepared for that!!! As grown men it was not something we needed!!"

The Space:

Guest Access:
This is an exclusive Tentrr Signature campsite. Tentrr partners with land owners to offer unique accommodations in beautiful outdoor spaces. Our campsites are off-the-grid which means they generally do not have access to electricity, wifi, or modern plumbing. Instead, they offer the chance to relax, unplug, and fully experience nature!

Your Tentrr campsite includes a 10'x12' (120 square feet) safari-style canvas tent on a raised wooden platform. Inside the tent you'll find one queen bed with a memory foam mattress. The tent is big enough for the bed plus one or two extra sleeping bags on the floor. Aside from the canvas tent, campers can also use the extra 5-person pop-up dome tent that’s provided. You'll also have a 6-ft picnic table, outdoor fire pit, and 2 Tentrr Adirondack chairs.

Max Occupancy: This refers to the total number of campers allowed onsite with your reservation.

Toilets: Every campsite is equipped with a camp toilet (we call it the Tentrr Loo). This is a simple wooden box with a toilet seat and a bucket inside. To use, line the bucket with a CleanWaste Sani-Bag supplied at the camp prior to use. Afterwards, simply tie the bag up and place it in a trash bag. CleanWaste Sani-Bags use a NASA-developed gelling/deodorizing agent that helps prevent spills and keeps everyone safe and clean.

Showers: Every Signature campsite comes with a Coleman Sun Shower. The sun shower has a reservoir that holds up to 5 gallons of water, potentially enough for multiple showers. It's constructed of heat-locking material that warms the water when it's left in the sun, even on cool days.

Upon check out, you should leave-no-trace of your stay and be sure your campsite is returned to its natural glory! While Tentrr does not charge a cleaning fee, we do expect campsites to be left how they were found. After you check out, take everything you brought in and be sure to leave your trash at the designated location.

If a Tentrr Host submits an incident report after your stay that details evidence of trash or damage to the campsite or the host's property, Tentrr reserves the right to charge a minimum cleaning fee of $50. Just make sure to follow the Camper Manual posted at your campsite and you'll be set!

Reservation Modifications/Cancellations: Please note the terms of the cancelation policy as they are outlined in your confirmation email. Your Tentrr Host is unable to change or cancel your reservation on your behalf, and they are unable to waive any cancellation fees (if applicable). - "This place is the perfect spot if you want to camp without forgoing a few of life's luxuries. Pat & Dave met us upon arrival and gave us a brief tour. They are the nicest couple and you can tell they really want their visitors to feel welcomed and we truly did! They have solar power and water by the tent, a fire pit and a charcoal bbq as well. They have set up a little dining/ prep area under a canopy which is perfect. right next to the tent were 3 trees perfectly spaced for us to set up our travel hammocks. In the large field area in front of the camping site are the bath house, another outdoor kitchen with a gas grill & a cooler to store food. There is trailer filled with games and a bike rack with bikes for all ages. We will definitely be coming back to enjoy more of their idyllic little spot."

- "Sergey's place was a true winter retreat for my whole family. The entire house was nicely decorated and has adequate furniture and equipment in the kitchen. Fire place in the living room and the extra large deck to soak in the view of surrounding mountains was nothing short of amazing. Lots of toys and big playground to keep the little ones busy. If you are lucky you might catch glimpse of few bucks roaming right in front of the house in the early morning hours. One thing I was skeptical was sufficient heating during winter cold and the interior was very warm. View from the balcony on the 2nd floor was incredible. Highly recommend this place."

- "The house wasn’t cleaned prior to our arrival. Dirty sheets, unmade bed, food in refrigerator, food scraps in sink, mice droppings in dog bowl, mice in pantry, trash outside from prior tenant. Mold in downstairs room created poor air quality. Bugs in bed. Mice inside ate our food. Inadequate water pressure so that only one bathroom was functional at a time. Sleeps 6 not 10. The loft does not have an actual mattress. Outside lights didn’t work. Some inside light were inadequate. The front door does not close. Over priced for quality of stay. "

A spacious and quiet house with large families in mind. The house sits on 5 acres with a very large back and front yard, plenty of room for the kids to run around. Chill on the back deck while grilling on the propane grill (propane is provided). 2 very large spacious bedrooms (including 1 with a crib) and 3 slightly smaller bedrooms, 2 living rooms including one TV room with a fireplace, 2 bathrooms and a kitchen with modern appliances, for optimal comfort. Washer and dryer is available for the guests to use as well. Wildlife routinely walks through the property for you to capture some great pictures. Visit one of the many ski resorts (Windham/ Hunter/ Belleayre, Plattekill) are just a 30-minute drive away. If you haven’t visited BearPen Sports Facility in Prattsville be sure to check it out. Weather permitting they offer ice skating, curling, fat biking, cross country skiing, and snow tubing. It’s only an 18 minute drive. There are numerous hiking trails in the area and excellent fishing at the Schoharie Reservoir and Schoharie Creek.

Although this Airbnb has a full kitchen and bathroom, acres and acres of trimmed grass for your dog to stretch their legs and run or for you to practice your golf swing. A fire pit just off the back deck to enjoy after the sun goes down. Super fast wifi internet along with fire stick tv. There are no tennis courts, swimming pool or jacuzzis. It is pretty basic, far from a luxury Airbnb and priced accordingly. It’s really not realistic to expect a luxurious Airbnb for barely over $100 a night so I’m surprised I even need to be saying this but here I am. All of the furnishings and appliances were purchased new around two years ago when this home was renovated and turned into an Airbnb. While still being fairly newish none furnishings or appliances are top brands and are not fancy or expensive. I did this intentionally so I can keep the price range for booking low for everybody and for all to be able to afford and enjoy staying here. Also the title of my listing indicates that it is a great place for hunters, hikers and skiers. Never mentioned fancy or luxurious. However it’s perfectly fine for those who would like to enjoy beautiful, natural surroundings I have to offer. I even encourage it.
In a nutshell if you are expecting this to be like a luxury hotel you will be disappointed and I encourage you to book elsewhere instead of complaining about it after the fact. For those who would enjoy Catskill mountain beauty along with privacy, quiet serenity of nature and abundant wildlife then this would be a good fit and you are the kind of guest I’m looking for. Like most others that have been here except for a few snobby elitists this would be something you would also enjoy and I welcome you.

Nestled in the serene foothills of the Catskill Mountains, a hidden gem awaits in Gilboa - a charming cabin that embodies the perfect blend of comfort and rustic charm. The space
This lovely cabin boasts two bedrooms with a combined total of four comfortable beds. The first bedroom situated on the first floor has a king bed and a full-size futon. The second bedroom located on the second-floor loft offers a full-size futon bed and a luxurious queen-size bed, along with convenient amenities such as an en suite half-bath and a kids play nook.

The main floor features an impressive open concept living and dining area for guests to enjoy. The kitchen is fully equipped with a brand new espresso machine and air fryer, offering a first-class culinary experience.

The bathroom on the first floor is elegantly designed with a tub and shower for guest comfort and convenience.

Guests can relax and unwind in the outdoor space, which features a front porch with two cozy rocking chairs, where you can watch our sheep graze, or swing in the hammock on the back deck and take in the panoramic mountain views.

It is important to note that the full-size futons are best suited for one average-sized person, and better suited as a childs sleeping space, please let me know if you would like the futons set up for your stay, I will leave the bedding out for you to use if you do not indicate that you'd like the futons made up. Additionally, guests do not have access to the basement, garage, and two private owner's closets.

Although the cabin is private, it is located across the street from our working livestock farm, an occasional rooster crowing, livestock guardian dog barking, field mouse or bug sighting isn't out of the ordinary. During the height of the summer/fall months, a tractor buzzing around the hayfield is part of the norm. When booking the cabin please take this into consideration, it's majestic and a part of our day to day life. We appreciate your understanding. ( Please do not approach the tractors or equipment).

Basement and Garage are private, as well as locked closets.
Access to our organic hay fields are off limits from May to December, you are welcome to use the grassy lawn area during your stay. Please do not approach the livestock across the street at anytime, as we have working livestock guardian dogs, who will be contained in electric fence with our livestock 24/7, that being said we are strictly a NO pet property including service animals of any kind to insure the safety of our guests as well as our livestock.

During your stay, we provide you with a range of complimentary amenities to make your experience more comfortable. These include propane for the BBQ grill, a variety of espresso syrups, ground coffee and K-cups, tea bags, regular and flavored coffee (no decaf), seasonings, baking ingredients, oil, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, dish soap, sponge, and Thieves all-purpose cleaner.

We also offer local NYS maple syrup and honey, as well as farm-fresh chicken eggs to get you started. If you'd like to use more during your stay or bring some home, there's a farmstand across the street.

We are delighted to let you know that we have also added new luxury fleece robes and cabin slippers for your comfort.

I love kids! If you are traveling with children, please do not do any crafts projects on the dining room table, floor, or rugs. The table under the window in the living room is available for projects, as is the desk in the 1st floor bedroom , and the coffee table in the living room - as long as they are covered with protective paper or cloth and any "oopsies" are completely cleaned. For ex: please don't leave glitter glue or marker in the surfaces. Also please be sure to check any potential "stash spots" for candy, candy wrappers, etc. Critters love that stuff. Thank you. :)

We love this house and its old farmhouse charm! Please be aware that old houses have certain quirks that should be considered when booking with us.

The floors are uneven in places and may present a challenge for those with limited mobility. The staircase structure is unique and may present safety issues for those with young children, elderly, or pets (please see photos for a more detailed description). We have a baby gate available for use to prevent access to the stairs.

In the summer there is a small window unit air conditioner in the kitchen for the ground floor. The bedrooms upstairs have fans available, stored under each bed for comfort at night. The house is in the mountains and tends to not get as hot as other areas.

The house is well stocked with books, games and movies, there is something for everyone! There is WiFi and Roku tv.

Well behaved dogs are welcome! However, excessive dog hair and not cleaning the lawn will result in an additional $100 charge. We also ask that dogs are clean and dry before entering the house.

The driveway is 7/10 mile long and is rocky and steep, at points. AWD/ 4WD vehicles are best for this type of terrain.

This house is RURAL. A car is a must. This is the perfect place for someone seeking quiet. There is nothing close by. It is beautiful and peaceful.

Winter rentals-MUST have 4-wheel or all wheel drive vehicle to access the house.

Our Victorian styled house has hardwood floors throughout, with original floorboards, doors and knobs on the second floor. It has been updated to offer central air and heat to each room in the house. In addition, a new full house water filter system , AquaSana, ( installed 8/2022) provides the cleanest, best tasting water for your health and safety. Enter through the mudroom to remove your shoes. The appealing mixed furnished antique and mid century leisure rooms have a calming view of the 1/4 acre pond where you can simply gaze or enjoy catch and release fishing. Swimming prohibited.
The original custom wood kitchen cabinets are fully stocked with plates, cutlery, glasses, pots, pans, mixer, blender, waffle iron and Keurig coffee/tea machine. The kitchen also features a new stove, dishwasher, washer and dryer. Enjoy your food in the separate dinning area or open the sliding doors to grill and eat outside on the 12'x10' deck. An easy convertible bench/ picnic table is provided for 4-6 people to dine on, do arts and crafts, or privately take in the afternoon sun. At night, take advantage of the outdoor fireplace to make s'mores or just enjoy the fire under the star filled sky. Fire wood provided.
The master bedroom features a full size bed and Waterfall Art Deco bedroom suit with light blocking shades for sleeping late, or leave them open to greet the rising sun. Of the four bedrooms, one has a single bed, while the others all feature full sized beds. We provide clean laundered sheets for all beds, as well as color distinct towels for your use. The single full bath, with tub and shower, is located on the first floor with separate controls for both exhaust and heat. All windows have factory custom screens, so open the windows to enjoy the fresh country air free of flying bugs.
Free outdoor parking for several cars.
We are "germ conscious", so we vacuum and UV light sanitize all soft fabrics. All mattresses are secured in plastic mattress covers and have never been exposed to sleeping conditions without them. Under the present Covid emergencies, all surfaces are disinfected for your safety and comfort. We simply require removal of all outdoor shoes to reduce dirt traffic and possible germs and, please, no pets!
We have a strict policy of no INDOOR smoking, but you are welcomed to indulge outdoors.
To ensure our cleaning standards, a minimum of 24 hours between booking is required, so extended stays may not always be possible.

This unique property rental includes use of the entire "Catskill's Village " in this calm, stylish space. The property sits on 5 acres with a 12 ' Pacific Yurt, House/Cabin & a Updated Vintage Shasta RV. The property has 3 fire pits, well for water, and well-stocked outhouses. There is electricity and strong WIFI on this property. This is a great property for families and small groups with endless hiking, biking and stargazing. Pets are welcome on property and can stay in the Tent and Camper.

Though we have made great efforts to make your stay as comfortable as possible, you must keep in mind that your stay with us still falls within the classification of "glamping" (glamorous camping). We recognize that not everyone is willing to embrace the "camping" aspect of a stay with us, so we want to highlight them before you decide to book our yurt:


1. The Camper is heated by a Mini Split system.
2. The Camper guests only have access to the outhouse lavatory for all bathroom needs. We utilize a composting toilet in the outhouse, and guests must follow the posted instructions related to its use.
3. The outhouse is insulated in the walls and floor, but not heated. It can be cold in the winter.

This is historic home has been lovingly restored. It is maintained constantly and upgrades are always happening. The views from the house of the valley and mountains are incredible. There is a beautiful working fireplace which turns on at the touch of a button.

The cabin is in a great location in the small town of Gilboa, NY, near Roxbury and Stamford. It is very close to Hunter, Windham, and Plattekill Mountains, as well as various wedding venues (The Roxbury Barn, The Inn at West Settlement, & Blenheim Hill Farm are very close)! The huge open lawn (3.5 acres) and great outdoors space is incredible! It is 3 bedrooms (2 queens, 3rd a trundle with two twins) and 1 bath. The cabin has a large deck, fit with a big wood table handmade by William that seats 8, a Weber gas grill and a flat top grill. We also have a hot tub right off the deck that is a perfect place to watch the sunset!

The space
Drive down winding tree-lined country roads before turning onto our quiet, gravel driveway with it's 'Go Slow' sign. At the very end of the driveway, you'll be greeted by a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom A-frame chalet that sits nestled on four acres of lush forest and woodland surrounded by complete privacy. There is ample parking for 3 or more cars.

You'll enter through the mudroom where you can hang your coat and belongings. Next is the great room and main living area – a spacious lofted open-plan room with a wood-burning fireplace and a large sectional couch that seats 6-8 comfortably. The dining table and breakfast bar provide a family friendly space to gather for shared candlelit meals, whilst outside there is a long table that seats 12.

The lower floor houses two bedrooms: a guest room with queen bed, down pillows, closet, chest of drawers, designated work space and electronic keyboard. A second bedroom is adjacent with a triple bunk bed (NEW) complete with slide! There is also a front-loading washer and dryer in this room for your use. All linens are 100% cotton, 600 thread count.

A full bathroom with bathtub is also on this main floor with complimentary Public Goods bath products and 100% cotton towels.

The master loft bedroom with King size bed is located upstairs on the mezzanine; a romantic, expansive space with a juliet balcony and private full bathroom (also with a bathtub.) Be immersed in the sounds of nature with the French doors open: birds, frogs, thunderstorms, cicadas – heaven! All linens upstairs are 100% cotton 600 thread count, whilst down pillows, wool blankets, vintage and sheepskin rugs add to the cosy feeling. There is also a full size futon upstairs for an additional sleeping area.

The large wrap around porch with it's outdoor dining table is a great spot for breakfast, coffee, lunch, drinks or dinner. Two lounge chairs and a Sunbrella umbrella add to the vacation feeling. A propane BBQ and (NEW) Traeger smoker are both available for your use.

Off the deck you will be greeted by our (NEW) wood-burning cedar hot tub. Build a fire and enjoy the scent of wood smoke and cedar as you soak in a pristine natural environment. A spacious backyard with fire pit and Adirondack chairs is the perfect setting for a cookout (tripod and grate available for those feeling adventurous enough for open-fire cooking) or an evening spent roasting marshmallows. Enjoy our new wood burning cedar sauna too, tucked into the trees at the edge of the forest, available all year round.

Feel free to take the two road bikes (located in the storage shed) out for a spin at sunset for an experience to remember.
