We do have 2 active exterior cameras - one pointed at the road and one at the back door.

The Space
The "Bumblebee Cottage" sits on the beautiful Wekiva River, home to some of Central Floridas best canoeing, Kayaking, and Fishing. A nature lovers dream, surrounded by singing birds, exciting wildlife, and plenty of peace and quiet to enjoy time in a hammock or lounging on the back patio.

Each bedroom in the cottage is uniquely designed with guest comfort in mind. "Casper" memory foam mattresses, luxury "Brooklinen" linens, and the latest tech connect-ability are just a few of the details that make the cottage feel like home. Families can enjoy a movie night on the flat screen TV, or curled up in front of the fire playing a board game.

The kitchen is just as beautiful and unique as it is functional. A gas stove, oven, coffee station, toaster, dishwasher, and microwave are all available for use.

Surveillance or recording devices on property - We use a noise monitoring device; it does NOT record actual sounds or conversations, it simply monitors the noise level (measured in decibels). There are external cameras on all sides the property including the pool and spa area. Tampering with any of these devices is strictly prohibited and will result in a $500 fine.

-There is a 250 pound weight restriction on each of the bunk beds.

-Please note that the home is in quiet, residential neighborhood. We ask that you be respectful to neighbors concerning noise levels. Quiet times are from 11pm-8am. This means no music or tv outdoors at these times.

NOTE: Pool depth is 3-7 feet. NO DIVING in pool or spa, no exceptions. Recreational swim floats may be available but they are not lifesaving devices. A lifesaver ring is located in a bin near the pool. Please read pool rules before entering.

-Spa hours are 11am-10pm. Contact Kerianne 3 hours in advance if you want to use the heated spa (no later than 7 pm). Spa will remain on for 3 hours. Spa temperature is 103 degrees Fahrenheit. Please read spa rules before entering. A $200 fee will be assessed for any guests caught tampering with the spa controls.

-There is no fence around the pool: adults must supervise children at all times.

-No glass anywhere near the pool. If glass is spilled in the pool, the cost of emptying, cleaning and refilling it will come out of your deposit.

-Food and drinks must be removed from pool patio tables after use.

-Hammock is provided for relaxation. Note, use caution, it relies on balance. Children not allowed on hammock.

-Grill must be cleaned after use with provided brush as not to attract bears. Guests must provide their own propane if they wish to use the grill. Turn off propane and close lid after use. Propane will not be refilled during stay.

-Guests should dispose of garbage in the bear-proof trash can and trash can must be secured at all times. For your safety and to abide by Seminole County, FL bear safety rules secure all trash and do not leave any food outside or in cars. Bear-proof trash cans must be taken to the road on Monday and Thursday nights to prepare for pickup on the following day. A $50 fee will be assessed for any garbage left outside of these cans.

-No eating or drinking in bedrooms.

-Thermostat to be set to no lower than 68 degrees Fahrenheit (due to concerns of unit freezing) and no higher than 85 degrees Fahrenheit.

-Flush ONLY toilet paper in toilets. We have a septic tank so baby wipes, flushable wipes, sanitary products, paper towels or anything besides toilet paper should be put in trash.

- The home is stocked with linens and toilet paper according to the total number of paid guests.

-Do not put cooking oil or anything metal in garbage disposal.

-Please keep all food sealed to discourage pests from entering the property.
-Do not put anything on the indoor pool table. This includes drinks and food.

-The wood-burning fireplace is not available for guests.

-No smoking, vaping, or illegal substances of any kind on the property. If smoke or illegal substances are detected, deposits will be forfeited and a $500 fee will be added.

-Fireworks are not permitted on the property.

-Glitter and confetti are not permitted on the property.

-Please contact Kerianne immediately if anything is broken, damaged, stained or lost. We understand occasionally a glass or dish gets broken. Please let us know if this occurs so we can replace the item.

-Damages exceeding the deposit amount will be billed to the guest and reported to Airbnb.

Our favorite thing to do is walk "Paint the Trail," which is just a couple minutes from the home - beautiful artwork that have been painted for miles of fence line on the Seminole Walking trail.

The neighborhood is quiet, right near the end of a cul de sac and out of the hustle and bustle, but 10 minutes to lots of fun outdoor and indoor things to do!
