This estate is a 5 bedroom home with modern amenities, in what was a reclaimed barn, has a pool, a barn and separate garage. This house is in the beautiful Covered Bridge neighborhood and conveniently located right off the Taconic Parkway, a few miles from Vassar College and just 75 miles north of NYC, making it perfect as either a family home or a weekend getaway. It's a large family house ideal for gathering with a newly renovated kitchen and dining area, with state of the art appliances (Viking range/oven, Sub-Zero fridge) and a new dining table and banquette that can seat up to 15 easily. The heated pool has a small diving board and the upstairs rooms are wide open and perfect for lots of kids. We also provide several gaming systems as well as the use of the family golf cart.

It's serene year-round. Thanksgiving is such a beautiful time in the Hudson Valley and the trees that surround the property will be gorgeous fall colors.

- "We rented this house for our extended family of 6 adults, (2) 5 year olds and a small dog. I have rented numerous houses and this is far and away the best I have ever stayed in. Let me elaborate: The house was immaculate. Everything was exactly as pictured and presented. There was so much room for everyone. The kitchen is beautiful and a pleasure to cook in. The rooms were large and the beds were very comfortable. And the toys for the children…there are so many no need to bring your own. If you enjoy vintage arcade games and shooting hoops indoors this house has it. Now to the pool-it too was clean with pool noodles. I asked if there were floats for the 5 year olds ( their request) and the owner said she would be sure to get 2 for them. When we arrived, to the children’s delight there were 2 floats! The poolside bathroom was a real plus with small children. That is indicative of the kind of person the owner is. Thoughtful, kind and very responsive. She checked in with me numerous times to ensure I didn’t need anything or have any questions. Whenever I messaged her she responded very quickly. And last but not least is the golf cart to ride around the 20 acres. If you’re lucky as you drive around you may see a bunny or a gopher/ groundhog (not sure which it was). In summary this is an oasis that I high recommend."

- "This home was absolutely spotless and clean! The kitchen has all the things you need to whip up a meal and serve it in style. Be aware that there isn’t a dining table in the house, but stools surround the kitchen island for eating. My family found the beds to be extremely comfortable. The bedrooms are spacious and well lit. There are stairs to get into the house and to access the downstairs fireplace room, laundry and half bath. The owner was very accessible and responsive. - "I rented the home for my brother's family who flew in for my son's wedding. The home was close enough to where I live so made it very convenient. The house location is great as it's private but close to grocery store, gas station, Dunkin donuts and restaurants. The only comment I would make is that it was very hot for a few of the days that they were in town and the AC cannot go below 70. I think this should be adjusted for situations when humidity and outside temps are high. All rooms had ceiling fans (one that didn't work) so that helped but was still warm for sleeping a couple of the nights. Other than that, it was perfect for our situation. Would definitely recommend."

- "The place was fantastic, just as advertised." - "My friends and I are in our 50's. We planned this fishing trip on the Hudson for bass and the first place we reserved fell through. This Wappinger Falls VRBO location was our fallback and we were very pleased with it and prefer it to where we almost stayed. We had two trucks and a trailered boat. The outside landscaping was fair, but we weren't there for landscaping. The cabin/ home seems to have been recently remodeled. It was furnished well and smelled fragrant and clean. Floors were very clean. The kitchen was perfect for us since we are also foodies and cooked a lot while there. a Large screen TV was in the adjoining living room for a movie and music. Appliances were clean and new; plenty of pots/ pans, etc. A new stacked washer/dryer were in the kitchen, but we did not use them. There were two very nice bathrooms and five or six bedrooms. Beds were comfortable. Outside there was a 2nd floor covered deck for morning coffee overlooking the pond. Saw deer, turkeys and ducks in the field. On first floor, facing the pond was a new picnic table (under the 2nd floor deck). In the yard was a fire pit and four chairs. We bought local wood and sat ourside talking, more music and listening to the peepers with a fire. Overall a very nice place and would reserve it again. We did not need to interact with property owners except for a text I sent upon arrival. Owners did reply. 5 stars, Thanks!"

Relax at Beekman lodging, close to the many riches of Hudson Valley and only 60miles from NYC. Our 3 bedroom home sleeping 8 guests is within 20miles of Dia Beacon to the west, Fishkill ridge trail to the north, snow sports at Thunder Ridge to the east, and the breathtaking beauty of Wappinger waterfalls to the south. We are also a stone’s throw from multiple farms where apple picking and hayrides abound. Fun all year round!

The Chapel at Hopeland is a unique experience that we had crafted next to a sprawling forest preserve. Built in 1845 for the community's religious needs, the church has now gone through a complete historic restoration for weddings or a romantic stay in the chapel's anteroom. We are a stone’s throw from the Appalachian Trail right on the Dutchess/Putnam line and are less than an hour from Manhattan.

We are minutes from Fahnestock and Hudson Highlands State Parks & the Empire State Trail!

You are next to the Hopeland Forest Preserve which now is over 100 acres and growing. One side borders the Appalachian trail and on the other side of the Appalachian trail is another 200 +- acres of woodland. All the neighbors are nice but you are truly in the country!

- "What a unique and sweet space! My partner and I were looking for someplace quaint and off the beaten path- we are not “hotel people” and this little chapel did not disappoint! Everything was meticulously clean, check in was easy and the hosts were great commutators. If you need tons of amenities, turn down service, long hot showers, and a flat screen tv, this is NOT your place. But if you want cozy and unique, the pictures are exactly what you’ll find in this tucked away historical gem!"
