Every family member can find their own special niche with three docks. You can bring your own water craft or rent locally whatever is your preference. Or just enjoy fishing from the shore!! Lots of off the street parking for all your water toys!

We just completed our two fish cleaning sheds one for Log Inn and the other for Artists & Anglers (VRBO #9264248 two parcels over -sleeps ten- has bridges to walk to each house and shares two docks- owner lives between houses, Great for all those extra family members and friends that want to join you! ) Both have running water and electricity for charging equipment (bring your own chargers), also a table for cleaning your "big" catch! In addition each unit has drying racks for life jackets, area for tackle boxes and small motors. Just bring your own padlock for security if you like.

No need to worry about firewood as we will have available near your fire pit under the tarp. We have corn hole, horseshoes, bocce, volleyball, lawn darts, ladder toss for outdoor games.

Our Kitchen is well supplied: We have service for 40! Dinner plates, salad plates, bowls, coffee mugs, and for the young at heart - plastic cups, bowls, trays etc! Utensils, steak knives, Cuisinart Advantage 12 piece knife set. BBQ utensils, numerous cooking and serving utensils, wine & can opener, blender, hand mixer and much more!

Waffle iron, griddle, air fryer, two large crockpots, one small crockpot, pizza pans and cookie sheets! Keurig k cup with 12 cup combined coffee maker, two 4 slice toasters!

This lower level unit features fabulous views of the lake from the living room, dining room and kitchen. Recently remodeled, it features granite counter tops in the kitchen, tile floors, and plush carpet in the bedrooms. A sliding door off the dining area leads to the covered patio and the lake. It has 2 comfortable bedrooms, both with a queen size beds. The living room has a queen size sleeper sofa. A full bath and a laundry room with washer and drier are also included. The living room includes a flat screen TV with DISH, Netflix and a DVD player. The kitchen features full size appliances, including a dishwasher so you can spend more time on the lake.

Grill dinner on the gas grill while sitting on the patio enjoying the lake life or spend the evening roasting marshmallows around the fire. If you don't feel like cooking, Westwood Bar and Grill is just a short walk or boat ride away. Use of the dock is included, with space to tie up your boat, fish and swim. Use of our paddle boat, kayaks, splash pad and canoe included. Lake Washington has a max depth of 45 feet, covers 1500 acres and is home to sunfish, northern pike, walleye, large mouth bass, crappies, and perch. Other wildlife often seen includes Bald Eagles, Muskrats, Foxes, Canadian Geese, Trumpeter Swans, Loons, and a wide variety of song birds.

Location also available for crafting weekends, tables and chairs provided.

Our location is a few miles from both Mankato and St. Peter, which offer many activities if you want time away from the lake. The Mankato Moondogs (amateur baseball team), shopping, hiking and biking trails and several colleges are all nearby. The Mall of America and the Minnesota Vikings Training Camp facility is only an hour away.

HOME OF THE GRAND MADISON LAKE PADDLE FISH
State of Minnesota issued a seizure permit #202888 for us to be able to keep the skull and a replica of the fish. This skeleton of a paddle fish washed up on Madison Lake beach in 1989. From this skeleton the folks at Shedd Aquarium in Chicago and the Missouri Game and Fish department provided their best estimate of weight over 100 lbs, length 68 inches, and age approximately 35 years old. Paddle fish are plankton eaters with no teeth and are harmless to humans and illegal to catch in Minnesota.

Lots of off street parking for all your water toys! 150 lineal feet of sandy beach with over hanging willow trees to hold the pan fish close for shore fishing. We are in the process of building a sand box for when the water levels are high and our beach is under water. Our fish cleaning shed with screens, light, and water as well as a space to keep your gear locked up over night (bring your own padlock) is now finished! We have two boating docks available! The boat ramp is a short drive around the bay to the south. For our fellow artists we have set up a bright classroom area facing Madison Lake. It has 12 desks with easels and brush holders, drawing boards, and a grand instructors oak easel, storage cabinet, extra folding chairs and stools all looking toward the lake. Ideal for sleepovers or just an evening of wine and cheese paint parties! Great as an extra option for more sleeping space when renting our Log Inn #HA9246925 two parcels away which sleeps 24 and has plenty of extra social spaces! Scrapbookers welcomed!

A nice gradual walk (no steps) to the private lake shore where there is green grass area to relax, as well as a nice sandy beach with both full sun and shade trees (which can also hold the 3 hammocks we have for you to use) with a stone wood burning fire pit and chairs as well as a private dock with swim up ladder and bench to enjoy the lake where we also have a free standing lake slide in the water, 6 kayaks, a 5 person pedal boat, floaties and tubes for you to enjoy your time at the lake!

We have a huge yard to enjoy along with a wide assortment of outdoor games (XXL connect 4, Bocce ball, Corn Hole, Lawn Darts, Volleyball, Badminton, and much more!) a beautiful pond in the back also filled with beautiful wildlife! There is a road to cross over to the lakeshore area as you can see in our photos, but rest assured, it is an all way stop T in the road. Madison Lake is a lake that is defiantly perfect for all fishing for Walleye, Bass, Sunfish, Northern, Crappies and recreation of all types (great bays for water skiing, wakeboarding, tubing and all other water sports) on the lake in the summer and ice fishing in the winter, or simply enjoy the views from the wrap around deck, gather around a campfire (there is a second fire pit in the back yard of the house as well!) and make a few s'mores, play bean bags or other yard games in the huge yard, take out the kayaks, swim in the lake and fish off the dock!

The View is large enough to bring your extended family and more.
Our home sleeps 12 (a playpen and highchair are also available for little ones) and can even add a few more if needed, just need to ask first! Plenty of room to spread out and enjoy your time together with ample space for alone time as well. If weather isn't perfect, enjoy the awesome open game room downstairs with board games, Wii, huge screen tv complete with surround system, dart board and awesome air hockey! Located less than a block to North shore park, plus 3 other fun parks, just blocks from the Sakatah Singing Hills State Trail which offers 39 miles of paved trail if you prefer to bike, hike or snowmobile in the winter!

Located on the north side of Madison Lake, in Town Bay, this charming custom built home is extremely spacious 6 Bedroom 5 Bathroom with 4,000+ square feet of living space. There is a quiet frontage road to cross and 30 steps (with a handrail on both sides) that lead to 80 feet of private shoreline with a dock and fire pit! A dock is available for use of your own watercraft on one side, as the owners keep their personal boat on the other side of it. Kids can enjoy wading in the water near shore or swimming at the end of the dock. Located in walking distance to restaurants, a bait and tackle shop, liquor store, and two convenience stores. The layout of the home allows everyone to stay connected while simultaneously giving you just enough space to yourself so that you can relax!

Madison Lake itself has much to offer - 1447 acres of beautiful water, sandy lake bottom and great bays for water skiing, wakeboarding, tubing and all other water sports. There is a maximum depth of 60’. The lake has great fishing (panfish and sport fish - including walleye). Lake enthusiasts can enjoy a restaurant that you can reach by boat, with a gas pump for fueling up on the lake!

A large front porch greets you as you walk up to the home, opening to a grand entryway with an open staircase. The spacious living room offers great flexibility in layout and use (including a mini fridge and wet bar), leading to the only main level bedroom that is furnished with a queen size bed and 50” smart tv that is bluetooth compatible. The kitchen is huge and offers well stocked cupboards, a coffee bar, informal dining room, and a panoramic view of Madison Lake. Other features of the main level- a large formal dining room, main level laundry, one full bath, one 3/4 bath, and a three season porch on the back side of the house.

Although West Jefferson Lake is not accessible via boat from Middle Jefferson, the public launch is located less than 1 mile from our home. The Jefferson chain of lake is very popular for recreational activities such as ice fishing (winter), swimming, fishing, tubing, water skiing, jet skiing, etc. Please note that our watercraft is not included with your stay, and please bring your own life jackets if needed.

Our goal for our guests to enjoy the outdoors on one of the cleanest and most pleasant lakes in Southern MN. The location of the lake home gives guests the opportunity to enjoy swimming, boating, fishing, biking, and memory making!!

About one hour south of Minneapolis/St. Paul and 15 minutes from Mankato, this lake house has the charm of original woodwork and amenities for families, couples, wedding weekends, or retreats.

This house features three bedrooms and two full bathrooms. There is parking for up to three vehicles and there's tons of room for kids to run around and play. NO ADDITIONAL CLEANING FEE and Included in your stay is use of lily pad, pedal boat, bean floats, loungers, kayaks, and other floats. We will not rent out our pontoon, but feel free to bring your own boat! The property has two docks for guests to use. There's two landings on the lake to launch a boat.

At this property, you have the opportunity for great swimming, fishing, and bike/snowmobile riding. The Sakatah state trail and the City of Elysian is only a stone's throw away from the cabin. It's also home to some of the best summer sunsets on the West Bay!

Beyond the foyer, you will enter into our open concept kitchen, dining and great room space with a cozy hearth room tucked just off the great room. The wall to wall windows is a show stopper and lends beautiful views of the lake and occasionally a large family of 16 deer. If you love to cook on vacation, you will love the fully stocked kitchen boasting a 48” gas range with double convection/bake ovens, 12 ft island, 2 dishwashers, stand alone Subzero fridge and freezers and a walk in pantry to store all your ingredients.

On one side of the kitchen/great room area you will find the "bunk house" with 6 queen size beds (10 ft ceilings so great for many ages), separate changing area and an open concept bathroom with a double concrete vanity and 2 private shower/stool rooms.

On the opposing side of the kitchen/great room area are 3 additional bedrooms. One with a private full bath and the other 2 bedrooms sharing a Jack N Jill full bath. The final bedroom is located upstairs complete with a private bathroom and balcony overlooking the great room.

The walk out lower level with radiant heat flooring and 9.5ft ceilings has two additional 1/2 bathrooms, two large separate recreational/gathering spaces with a staircase to each. One rec space is set up as a game room and the other a “man cave”, with a large theater room between the two spaces. The game room side can easily be cleared out to set up yoga mats, tables, chairs or whatever you may need. Laundry facilities are available for use in the lower level as well.

Madison Lake is a quaint town just an hour south of the Twin Cities. Surrounded by many lakes, the area offers a nearby winery/wedding venue, numerous small lake towns, 2 waterfront restaurants, 2 universities and shopping in the quaint town of St Peter... all within 10 min. We are 15 minutes from Scoops Ice Cream shop, which is located on the Sakatah Singing Hills State Trial. Grab a cone or coffee before renting their bikes to explore 39 miles of paths. A quick 8 minute drive into Mankato will find you every store, mall, restaurant and movie theater you will need during your stay. Or stay put, enjoy the views and let Shipt or Door Dash do the running for you! Lake George is a quiet, fully recreational lake with public access.

This home is set on just over 2 acres, with plenty of trees and 250+ feet of lakeshore. Currently, there are 2 large decks and a fire pit area. There is a stair access to the lake and a floating fishing dock. There are youth kayaks and youth/adult SUPs available for your enjoyment. Please bring appropriate size life jackets, if desired.

TRAVEL INSURANCE:
Although never anticipated or hoped for, things can come up may prevent you from completing you stay. Unfortunately, because your advance reservation blocks our calendar and prevents other guests from booking, we are unable to make exceptions to our cancellation policy. That said, we highly recommend that guests consider purchasing travel insurance and are happy to provide any needed documentation should an issue arise that prevents you from coming or completing your stay.. Travel Insurance protects you should you need to cancel, interrupt, or delay your trip, due to a covered reason.

CLEANLINESS:
Before every guest arrival, detailed pictures and video will be taken to ensure cleanliness is up to the highest standard before your arrival.

THE GREAT MN OUTDOORS:
We love our wooded, lakefront setting but unfortunately cannot control Mother Nature or its inhabitants! Although we have excellent pest control in place, insects and bugs are a part of our thriving ecosystem and we cannot eradicate them all together! You can help keep them outside by keeping doors open as minimally as possible. During your stay, you may also encounter deer, turkey, bunnies, raccoons, etc. We also hope you have perfect weather and lake conditions during your stay, but by booking our property you acknowledge that we cannot be responsible for the weather or many factors that can impact lake conditions. Events must be approved prior to booking.

I loved the guide they sent a week prior to our arrival...very complete and informative. Weather wasnt great ,so we were inside a lot. Awesome variety of games to keep 5year old to 90 year olds busy. 14 of us played giant Jenga...even the 90 and 87 year olds! What a great family memory! If we get the opportunity, we will book again! - "We stayed here for our daughter's graduation at a nearby college, and we absolutely loved it. The house easily accommodated our larger group and everyone had a comfortable bed. There are extra fridges to minimize trips to town and plenty of hot water. The views and sunsets were absolutely phenomenal! We played games on the big table, cooked tasty food, roasted marshmallows and enjoyed the kayaks. Very quiet neighborhood with friendly people. It is a 15-20 minute drive to St. Peter, 15 minutes to Mankato, and 75 minutes to the Twin Cities and Mall of America. Highly recommend, would stay here again if/when we are back in the area."

Welcome to the lake!! Our quiet and peaceful home is situated on the Lake Jefferson chain of lakes just an hour south of the Twin Cities. Our lake is perfect for those peaceful kayak or paddleboard adventures. We've seen 20 plus different species of birds! If you are ready for more fun, take your boat through the channel to the larger lake and enjoy all your water sports. When your day of adventure is done, bring your boat back and tie it to our dock.

An open concept living room, dining room and kitchen looks out onto the lake. Enjoy beautiful sunsets and the fire table in the evenings on the balcony. Take your coffee out on the balcony in the morning overlooking the serene lake. The living room area has a large sectional and 2 comfy leather chairs.

Our kitchen is fully equipped for making family meals to enjoy around our generous island and large family table. The high top table easily expands to seat 8 comfortably with plenty of seating. It is great for family games and meals!

All 3 bedrooms have comfortable beds with plenty of pillows and blankets. The lower level master bedroom looks out onto the lake, has a comfortable king sized bed and has a large bathroom attached with a shower.

Also on the lower level is a bedroom with a queen bed and a bunk bed. Across the hall is a roomy bathroom with a shower.

The upper level bedroom is spacious with plenty of room to set up your pack'n play for the little one. The bathroom next door has a tub/shower combo.

Down the stairs is a grassy landing which is great for a game of cornhole, frisbee, croquet. Bring your other favorites!

- "We( four adult friends) had a great stay at Cheryl’s cabin. The cabin was clean and had many of the basics needed. Comfy furniture and smart tv available. We enjoyed using the kayaks/paddle board. Great deck to hang out on and we ate all our meals outside as well. The lake was very quiet during the week days and was still pretty quiet on the weekend (rainy weekend). We would come back. Host was very responsive beforehand and was available if needed. One thing to note if you are thinking of renting. The hill to get down from the road where you park is definitely substantial and wouldn’t be recommended for anyone with bad knees, hips or ankles."

Your waterfront oasis offers king size beds in each bedroom! You will have plenty of room relax in two living rooms with breathtaking views, the three season porch, or deck which overlooks the water. The space includes three 55 inch Roku Smart TV's, full kitchen, kitchenette on lower level, high speed internet, reading materials, and board games. Outdoor space includes a beautiful patio overlooking the lake with 4 Adirondack chairs, Solo Stove, 2 kayaks, beach chairs and 2 adult bikes, 2 kid bikes and a tagalong bike to use at no extra charge. Guests will have the option of bringing their own boat which could be tied to the dock during your stay. Shore power is provided. Please note our backyard has stairs down to our sandy beach with no railing. You are welcome to use our air mattresses in common areas to fit more guests if needed and our office also includes a couch.

Madison Lake itself has much to offer - 1447 acres of beautiful water, sandy lake bottom and great bays for water skiing, wakeboarding, tubing, jet skiing and all other water sports. There is a maximum depth of 60’. Lake enthusiasts can enjoy a restaurant that you can reach by boat, with a gas pump for fueling up on the lake and bands every weekend during the summer months! Located in walking distance to three restaurants, a bait and tackle shop, liquor store, and two convenience stores. Located less than a block to North shore park, and just blocks from the Sakatah Singing Hills State Trail which offers over 39 miles of paved trail if you prefer to bike, hike, snowshoe, or snowmobile!

We take great pride in our home and keep it clean and tidy. As a guest we don’t expect you to do chores, but to only maintain its cleanliness. We ask you to only clean up after yourself and if you accidentally stain the carpet or couch to notify us immediately so we can spot clean it. We ask you to not leave open food laying around in order to not attract insects.

Additionally, the city of Madison Lake has a noise ordinance from the hours of 10pm thru 7am. The city also requires the host to identify property boundaries. Our space is the sidewalk to the west of our home leading to the backyard. Also the gravel strip on the east side of our home leading to the backyard. Once in the backyard our property consists of the landscaped area with the elevated fire pit area (Solo Stove), and the sandy beach area which is in front of the large boulders only.

The home is located on West Lake Jefferson, a great lake for for fishing, boating, watersports and fun!

Enjoy lake living at its best in your own private home right on the water! No need to cross a busy street for lake access! Enjoy breathtaking views from the large windows and backyard overlooking Madison Lake in quiet “Town Bay.” It is the perfect fishing/recreational lake in the summer and perfect for snowmobiling, ice fishing, and drift car racing in the winter. Madison Lake also just built 2 pickle ball courts in 2024!

The space
Your waterfront oasis offers two king size beds and one queen! You will have plenty of room to relax in two living rooms with breathtaking views, along with a three season porch and deck which overlooks the water. The space includes three 55 inch Roku Smart TV's, full kitchen, kitchenette on lower level, high speed internet, reading materials, and board games. Outdoor space includes a beautiful patio overlooking the lake with 4 Adirondack chairs, Solo Stove, 2 kayaks, beach chairs and 2 adult bikes, 2 children’s bikes and a tag along bike to use at no extra charge. Guests will have the option of bringing their own boat which could be tied to the dock during your stay. Shore power is provided. Please note our backyard has stairs down to our sandy beach with no railing.

We take great pride in our home and keep it clean and tidy. As a guest we don’t expect you to do chores, but to only maintain its cleanliness.

Additionally, the city of Madison Lake has a noise ordinance from the hours of 10pm thru 7am. The city also requires the host to identify property boundaries. Our space is the sidewalk to the west of our home leading to the backyard. Also the gravel strip on the east side of our home leading to the backyard. Once in the backyard our property consists of the landscaped area with the elevated fire pit area (Solo Stove), and the sandy beach area which is in front of the large boulders only.

Madison Lake itself has much to offer - 1447 acres of beautiful water, sandy lake bottom and great bays for water skiing, wakeboarding, tubing, jet skiing and all other water sports. There is a maximum depth of 60’. Lake enthusiasts can enjoy a restaurant that you can reach by boat, with a gas pump for fueling up on the lake and bands every weekend during the summer months! Located in walking distance to three restaurants, liquor store, and two convenience stores. Located less than a block to North shore park (with bait vending machine) and just blocks from the Sakatah Singing Hills State Trail which offers over 39 miles of paved trails if you prefer to bike, hike, snowshoe, or snowmobile!

Looking for a cozy cabin right on the lake? Look no further! Fish, enjoy water sports or relish in the beautiful unobstructed view of the lake from the cabin deck. The area offers something for everyone. Hiking or biking on the Sakatah state trail (less than a mile from the cabin), shopping, breweries and winery’s, all within 20 minutes. Catch fish off the dock or launch your boat at the nearby public access and keep it at the dock for easy access.

The space
Our Duck Lake cabin will sleep 6 comfortably. Additional guest must be approved. There are two bedrooms, each with a queen sized bed and a queen sized futon in the porch to sleep an additional two people. This is lake front property with a full view of the lake. There are a number of steps that lead down to the dock, where you are welcome to tie up your boat. There is a public access boat launch at Duck Lake park.

The only part of the cabin we ask that you do not use is the loft as it is not approved for guests to sleep in.

Entire Cabin on the popular Lake Washington outside Mankato, MN. Cabin easily sleeps 8 adults with a huge loft and one separate bedroom. Crib, toddler bed, high chair and booster seat along with toys available for families. This beautiful A-frame has beautiful windows overlooking the lake with beautiful sunset views. Newly remodeled deck in 2023! Sandy beach all the way to the shoreline great for outdoor activities. Entire lake is great for fishing but not great for swimming.

The space
This newly built cabin is truly a place to escape and enjoy the MN weather. Large wrap around deck is great for relaxing and outdoor eating! There is a large sand beach off the front deck for all the outdoor activities. Entire lake is not great for swimming (out kids do swim off the shore!). Features include Central AC, Large Deck, Grill with Propane Tank and plenty of chairs and a fire pit.
Kitchen is fully stocked with all equipment required for making meals - pots, pans, dishes, glassware, coffee maker, microwave and basic cooking supplies (coffee, oil, butter, and essential spices and condiments).
Bathroom comes stocked with towels and beach towels.
Water filtration and reverse osmosis system has been put in so reviews referring to rusty are now corrected and well water is drinkable!
We allow you to bring your boat and dock at our dock. Public boat launch is right across the bay at Westwood Marina.
Small amount of firewood is supplied to utilize the fire pit.
Ask if you are looking for something specific.
Check in is 3pm and Checkout is 10am.

Guests use a lock box to access a key. Code is provided morning of checking. There is parking available for 4 vehicles & boat trailer if needed.

Other things to note
Parties are NOT allowed. Definition of a party: any gathering that is more than the number of people specified in booking, any gathering that has loud music or voices after 10pm, any gathering with underage drinking or illegal drugs.
If you want to hang out with the guests count you listed or even have others visit that is allowed. When booking we ask the number of guests and please include the most that will be there at one time (max 8). Guest count is monitored by Ring doorbell and any tampering with doorbell will lead to extra charges.

House will be scrubbed to clean condition when arriving and the cleaning fee is intended for normal use cleaning and laundry. If any additional heavier cleaning is required (example: Excess Sand tracked into house, checkout instructions not followed, excess dirt/mess on any surface that would require extra scrubbing, garbage left) an extra fee will be charged.

Beautiful cabin located on the East side of Madison Lake, 224 feet of Lakeshore and a Sandy beach. It’s private, no neighbors, just peace and quiet. Wake up looking out at the lake. Fish from the dock, kayak while the sun sets, grill and end the night with a camp fire. Within walking distance is a neighboring park with boat access and a beach, bring water floaties and toys, beach balls, bike or walk the trails, check out the swinging bridge! Only minutes from town.

A luxury lakeside retreat, nestled on 2 acres in the woods of Madison Lake, MN.

Lakeside Lookout is a modern cabin that will take your breath away with the wall to wall, floor to ceiling window overlooking serene Lake George… a quiet, but fully recreational lake. The perfect backdrop for your getaway.

Over 6500 sq ft designed with large groups, retreats, and families in mind, this cabin accommodates 20 guests with 4 bedrooms and 8 baths.

The space
We are excited to welcome you to this lakeside retreat! Check us out on IG (lakesidelookoutMN) to follow our progress as we get ready to welcome our first guests.

Designed specifically for large groups, multi-generational families and retreats in mind. Starting with the large foyer... Step in with plenty of room to drop your stuff and make yourself at home!

Beyond the foyer, you will enter into our open concept kitchen, dining and great room space with a cozy hearth room tucked just off the great room. The wall to wall windows is a show stopper and lends beautiful views of the lake and occasionally a large family of 16 deer. If you love to cook on vacation, you will love the fully stocked kitchen boasting a 48” gas range with double convection/bake ovens, 12 ft island, 2 dishwashers, stand alone Subzero fridge and freezers and a walk in pantry to store all your ingredients.

On one side of the kitchen/great room area you will find the "bunk house" with 6 queen size beds (10 ft ceilings so great for many ages), private changing area and an open concept bathroom with a double concrete vanity and 2 private shower/stool rooms.

On the opposing side of the kitchen/great room area are 3 additional bedrooms. One with a private full bath and the other 2 bedrooms sharing a Jack N Jill full bath. The final bedroom is located upstairs complete with a private bathroom and balcony overlooking the great room. This bedroom does not have a door but is separated from any shared spaces by a private staircase..

The walk out lower level with radiant heat flooring and 9.5ft ceilings has two additional 1/2 bathrooms, two large separate recreational/gathering spaces with a staircase to each. One rec space is set up as a game room and the other a “man cave”, with a large theater room between the two spaces. The game room side can easily be cleared out to set up yoga mats, tables, chairs or whatever you may need. Laundry facilities are available for use in the lower level as well.

Madison Lake is a quaint town just an hour south of the Twin Cities and near several wedding venues:

*20 min from Indian Island Winery
*15 min from Ahavah Cottage
*15 min from The Capitol Room

Surrounded by many lakes, the area offers numerous 2 nearby waterfront restaurants, 2 universities, wineries, golfing and shopping in the quaint town of St Peter... all within 10 min. We are 15 minutes from Scoops Ice Cream shop, which is located on the Sakatah Singing Hills State Trial. Grab a cone or coffee before renting their bikes to explore 39 miles of paths. A quick 8 minute drive into Mankato will find you every store, mall, restaurant and movie theater you will need during your stay. Or stay put, enjoy the views and let Shipt or Door Dash do the running for you! Lake George is a quiet, fully recreational lake with public access.

Lakeside Lookout is a brand new build so the outdoor spaces will be evolving as we work through permitting and installation process, therefore the current pricing reflects that lakeshore landscaping is not yet complete. This cabin is set on just over 2 acres, with plenty of mature trees and 250+ feet of lakeshore. There are 2 large decks off the great room, a fire pit area, 2 picnic tables, hillside stairs to the lakeshore area and a floating dock for fishing, tying up your boat, etc. There are youth kayaks and youth and adult stand up paddle boards available for your enjoyment. If you have questions or concerns about the status of the landscaping, please inquire prior to booking, and we will be happy to give you any updates we may have!

*Please note we are constantly investing back into property and replacing/upgrading items as needed. Therefore, there may be some additions/changes to furnishings and décor pictured!

TRAVEL INSURANCE:
Although never anticipated or hoped for, things can come up that may prevent you from completing you stay. Unfortunately, because your advance reservation blocks our calander and prevents other guests from booking, we are unable to make exceptions to our cancellation policy. That said, we highly recommend that guests consider purchasing travel insurance. We are happy to provide any needed documentation should an issue arise that prevents you from coming or completing your stay. Travel Insurance protects you should you need to cancel, interrupt, or delay your trip, due to a covered reason.

CLEANLINESS:
Before every guest arrival, detailed pictures and video will be taken to ensure cleanliness is up to the highest standard before your arrival.

THE GREAT MN OUTDOORS:
We love our wooded, lakefront setting but unfortunately cannot control Mother Nature or its inhabitants! Although we have excellent pest control in place, insects and bugs are a part of our thriving ecosystem and we cannot eradicate them all together! You can help keep them outside by keeping doors open as minimally as possible. During your stay, you may also encounter deer, turkey, bunnies, raccoons, etc. We also hope you have perfect weather and lake conditions during your stay, but acknowledge that we cannot be responsible for the weather or many factors that can impact lake conditions.

*** As noted in the description, landscaping is a major work in progress heavily dependent on weather and permitting with the county and DNR. Access to the lake may be challenging as the terrain is steep and uneven. We do have makeshift “steps” In place, but they should be used with caution and at your own risk. This hill can become particularly slippery after a rainfall.
