Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located, cozy cottage. It has a view of White Lake, is minutes to Lake Michigan with public beach at Medberry park, the Hart-Montague bike trail, shops and breweries downtown, plenty of parking on site for your boat to launch nearby (1 mile) on White Lake, Maple Grove park just down the hill with playground, pavilion for family get-togethers, or amazing ice fishing in the winter months. Lewis Farms and Michigan Adventures are nearby for family fun.
The space
There are three cozy bedrooms - two upstairs (one King and one queen) and then a King Bed downstairs, two couches have pullout queen beds as well, kitchen is fully stocked with anything you might need.
Guest access
The entire home, drive way in front, and parking spaces to the left of the house are available for guest use. The garage is used to store bikes, grill, and outdoor games. The shed in the back is not accessible to guests.
Other things to note
No air conditioning. There is an overhead fan in the two upstairs bedrooms and two large, mobile oscillating fans available for use in any room. The house is covered with trees which helps keep it cool in summer months.

and car (convenient parking is available at Duck Lake State Park Beach, where you can enjoy Duck Lake, the warm, shallow waters of the channel – a big hit with the kids- and the “big lake”).

The house will be stocked with some starter supplies such as coffee, filters, sugar, salt, spices, paper goods (towels, tissues, toilet), soap (hand, dish, dishwasher, laundry), garbage bags, propane, roasting sticks, and firewood.

Food, beverages, and extra supplies needed can be purchased nearby. The sister cities of Whitehall and Montague are only a couple of miles away. Montague Foods has a large selection of high quality groceries, beer, and wine. Check out the World’s Largest Weathervane before going in! Also take advantage of the Farmers Market (and Artisan Market) across the street on Wednesday and Saturday mornings.

When it’s time to eat, you will find everything you need to prepare meals for 12 and serve meals for 24 (who wants to do dishes every day on vacation?), or to call for takeout or delivery (menus from local restaurants are at the house).

We had no issues with streaming, video calls, and quick on line access. While our cellular service was not great anywhere in the area, the Wi-Fi at the house was fantastic. In fact, there are two networks in the home that you can connect to & we were able to “work from home” and enjoy the views out the large kitchen windows and open concept of the upper floor. The pictures on the listing are 100% accurate of the home. We thoroughly enjoyed our nine nights, and if we are able to return to Montague next summer, will be rebooking this property because of its location, views of the water, beautiful decor, open concept layout, strong Wi-Fi, and all the comforts of a lake/beach home."

- "Family and I usually stay in the mountains on our 1 big vacation of the year but due to our daughters college classes we went earlier than normal so we did the lake trip for the first time. Zero regrets. First night was the clearest we have ever seen and my daughter and I watched meteor showers for hours. Beautiful weather all week led to a ton of great lake time. Close proximity to an amazing little town. Having access to two Kayaks was a welcome surprise as my older daughter taught our youngest son how to use them. He’s a natural! Anything you might need is in the house. Tons of bath and beach towels. Beach chairs. Boogie boards. Kids life jackets. Tons of books and games. Did i mentions the views? 2 out of the 3 bedrooms have amazing views and the house faces towards the sunsets. Host Kristina was very responsive and extremely helpful. I see some complaints about the driveway. It really is not bad. We had a chevy malibu get up and down no problem and being able to pull up right to the door to unpack and pack was awesome. When you see the other houses in this area with a giant stairway to heaven, you will truly appreciate the driveway. We just might need to stay here again in the future!"

Meinert Park a short (seven house) walk down the private road offers a huge land conservancy with acres and acres of sand dunes, a hidden lake, trails and waterfront beach to explore and spend an afternoon in the sun. A children's wagon is onsite to take along packed with beach chairs, sun umbrellas, and a cooler for an afternoon of fun exploring.

The architect designed and custom built home has a California Ranch open floor plan including all three bedrooms on the main level. The layout includes a master bedroom and bath at one end of the house and the additional two bedrooms and second bath across the living room area at the other end of the house. The high cathedral ceiling with a remote contemporary ceiling fan lets in abundant sun light and warm summer breezes directly off the lake. Two sets of French Doors, one in the master bedroom, open directly onto the deck facing the water. The house is equipped with air conditioning, forced air heat, newly updated internet connection, land line phone with unlimited calling in the US, Alexa, and a 200 plus channel TV package including Netflix and Prime.

The home's outside lake deck spreads across the entire length of the house and provides spectacular unobstructed views of Lake Michigan. Wind surfers are frequently visible from the deck as well as freighters and recreational boaters, kayaks, paddle boarders and jet skis. Included on the deck for summer ease and enjoyment is an umbrella dining table with six chairs, a two burner Weber gas grill, four chaise lounge chairs and other assorted patio furniture complete with cushions and pillows for comfort. There is also a propane gas log fire pit on the deck for evening enjoyment around a camp fire. A children's sandbox with all the needed sand toys is situated right off the deck with a water faucet and plastic kiddie pool if wanted.

The three spacious bedrooms all include queen sized beds with brand new top of the line mattresses and high-end linens and ample dresser space for storage. The master suite has French Doors leading directly onto the deck and has its own private bathroom with walk-in shower. This charming cottage sits near the shore of Lake Michigan amidst low dunes. It is shaded by large conifers and hardwoods. It has a screened porch and deck, great for vacation relaxation. In five minutes you can walk to a gorgeous, wide, clean sand beach, ideal for sunning and swimming. You can walk north for miles along the beach. If you're ready for more serious exercise, you can set off running or biking nearby shaded roads or pick up designated bike trails. It is truly a beautiful location. This beach house is located directly ON Lake Michigan with its own 125' of private beach front. This lovely beach house house rests atop a small bluff overlooking majestic Lake Michigan on a quiet, residential road. There is even a working organic farm across the street. If you are fortunate enough you might be able to walk to the farm stand and grab fresh farm eggs or organic vegetables.

There is 700 sq. ft. of TREX decking overlooking Lake Michigan with lounge chairs to lay out, an under deck with new sitting areas to enjoy the views in the shade watch the gorgeous sunsets. Lake Michigan sunsets are a work of art that you don't want to miss. There are stairs to the beach and a large beach to thoroughly enjoy the lake!! There are 2 kayaks to use along with two paddle boards. Just bring your own life jackets and you are ready to coast the shoreline. The private beach is around 125 feet with Adirondack chairs and beach towels to enjoy the sunshine. We also have an outdoor shower with hot and cold water to rinse off after the beach.

Roosevelt Cottage has 5 large bedrooms (Sleeps 12), with direct views of the lake. The Main floor King bedroom with windows looking out to Lake Michigan and a patio door. Its a great spot to venture onto the deck and enjoy your beverage of choice. You might even spot a bald eagle flying by.

The cottage has 4 full bathrooms 2 on the main floor, 1 upstairs, and 1 downstairs. Other features include a spacious kitchen (all new including appliances) and dining area, living area with large picture windows with a lake view. Bring groceries to prepare in our fully stocked kitchen or venture out to eat at one of the many restaurants and open-air bars in Montague, Whitehall, Mears, Silver Lake, Hart, Pentwater, or Ludington. The Dining area accommodates 8 people at the table and 2-4 at the kitchen counter. A perfect spot to spend time with loved ones, spend a honeymoon, or just rest and recharge.

Each bedroom has their own Smart TV. We have large Smart TV's in the living areas for the rainy day movies. There are lots of games and books to keep you busy on the cloudy days.

We have a fire pit just off the deck and a Sonos speaker system to play your own music! Local wood stands around the area with a short distance from the cottage. This Lake Michigan house is perfect for a family vacation. Located on a dune on Lake Michigan just one mile north of White Lake, the setting and views are incredible.

Our home has a renovated kitchen and renovated main bath, We have 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. The entry level has two bedrooms and a full bath. One of these bedrooms has a queen bed and a double bed. The other has two bunk beds: (1) an ex long twin over queen and (2) full over full beds. The washer and dryer are also on the entry level. The main floor is an open concept area with modern kitchen, dining area, living room and den. This level has the master bedroom with a queen bed and a full bath. There is also a pull out queen sofa a bed in the den. A loft (accessible via a spiral staircase) offers great views; a nice area to read a good book or play a game.

Full amenities inside include all the normal appliances: refrigerator, stove/ oven, dishwasher, microwave, washer and dryer, air conditioning, on demand hot water, cable TV, and Wi-Fi internet access. There is also a separate beverage cooler. A full house generator ensures you will always have power.

The home is in a quiet area that you enter through a well maintained wooded drive from the east. There is only one neighbor to the south, a large grass/wooded dune is to the north, and beautiful Lake Michigan to the west. The outside area is equipped to enjoy Lake Michigan. There is a fire pit on the back-side (wooded side) of property with Adirondack chairs. There is a good size deck on the front side of the cottage with Weber Genesis II three burner gas grill and outside eating space. There is also a bluff deck that is a few steps from the house that sits on the precipice of the dune with seating and panoramic views of Lake Michigan. Finally, the beach offers 110 ft of private frontage. Getting to the beach takes about 100 steps down the stairs to the waterfront, so make sure to take some water, soda, or an adult beverage with you. Beach chairs and toys are stored in unit at the waterfront.

Be on the lookout for dear, turkeys, bald eagles, pileated woodpeckers... and other wild life that will delight you.

For our family and friends, we'd start the morning with coffee on the upper deck while the sun rose over our backs. As the sun climbed, we'd head down to the beach with our coolers and snacks for an afternoon on the shore. Later in the day, we'd gather at the "cottage deck" for appetizers and dinner. Then we'd head back to the upper deck to watch the sun set... nothing else like it on earth. The evening concluded with a bonfire and of course S'mores.

Rain can't even dampen the mood with plenty of puzzles, games, or movies to keep the family happy.

Beyond the house, Old Channel Trail Golf Course is a mile to the North and the Old Channel Inn (lunch/dinner) is a mile south. White Hall & Montague are a 15 minute drive for more restaurants, movies or other activities. Silver Lake (Sand Dune rides, etc) is about 30 minutes north. Further north are Pentwater or Ludington or South to Muskegon or Grand Haven for more adventures. (25/35 minute drive).

- "Our family (6 adults and 2 young children) had a wonderful one-week vacation at the house! It is large, beautifully designed, extremely well-appointed, and very comfortable. There are lots of common spaces to gather together, but the bedrooms are well separated for privacy. The house also has a great setting, perched on a small forested hill overlooking the lake. The beach is lovely, very quiet and peaceful, with soft sand. Two amenities we especially enjoyed were the hot tub on the deck, and the giant wall TV and giant couch on the top floor of the house. Nate was very helpful and prompt when answering all of our questions, making the whole rental process easy and trouble-free. We all really enjoyed our stay and hope to come back again in the near future!"

White lake was perfect for floating, kayaking, and fishing (lots of bass!). There is a bit of a walk down a trail to get to the beach, but we were able to manage it well. We loved the quick access to Lake Michigan for a fun day on the beach and the “big lake”. The owners are fantastic. Super thoughtful and kind. We had a couple of minor issues that they responded to and resolved right away. If you are considering booking the Hygge House, just do it! A little bit more expensive than other places we’ve stayed, but feel like it was really worth it due to the excellent location, lake access, amenities, and beautiful, well-designed home. We had found this listing on VBRO by accident and availability enabled us to plan around other extended family members who were staying in the area. This house was a lifesaver. We had our own privat beach, a large well appointed kitchen to prepare meals, and seating for everyone with a great view of the lake. The house is isolated and not what we considered biking distance to town, also the steps to the beach can be daunting. We found that planning was essential and by the end of the week, the steps weren’t that bad. All in all, we had a great time and would come back again."

Its private beach remains quiet as public access is over a mile away and it is next to a farm and golf course that do not have access, leaving an expansive quiet beach for you to enjoy with your family. The private beach is just 100 stairs down to the water from the house, there is a bench half way down if you need to rest! There are beach chairs for you to use at the beach along with an inflatable paddle board! The grill at the house is charcoal! This is a pet friendly home! (SMALL DOGS ONLY) There is no air conditioning in this property.

This home features 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. Bedroom 1 has a queen bed and bedroom 2 has two queen beds. This home is all main floor living with a large living room with view of Lake Michigan! The outdoor area at this home is great! It features a large yard, in ground trampoline, outdoor furniture and charcoal grill! The sunset views from the bluff are amazing. Barbecuing and watching the sunset makes for our favorite dinner location, but the Old Channel Inn right down the road is a close second. This home has an occupancy of 6 people maximum and is monitored closely.

The towns of Montague and White Hall are picturesque with small town charm offering many breweries, restaurants and shops to explore. The Band Shell Tuesday night concerts are always a good time. Michigan Adventure, Lewis Farms and the Double JJ Ranch (Indoor water park, back 40, golf course and restaurant) are all less than 20 minutes away. Just a little further is Silver Lake Sand Dunes. Old Channel Trail Golf course is a short walk down the road. This is a beautiful course that is typically not very busy. There is a boat launch to White Lake 1 mile down the road off of Lau. This is a great place to launch jet skis or a small watercraft.

- "The place was just as advertised. The views were amazing and sunset is breathtaking. We will go back for sure." - "We were looking for a pet friendly lake front property for a few days break before school started. It was quiet, peaceful and had a great view of Lake Michigan. The kitchen was well equipped and overall was clean and comfortable. After we booked we received the detailed pet agreement to sign. The listing said "pet friendly" without details. The agreement specified a size limit which our dog exceeded, and we were to pick up after our dog. We had to phone the property manager to clarify it was ok to have a larger dog. Upon arrival we found several dog droppings outside we cleaned up so we would not be charged. The property is showing signs of wear and tear with loose flooring, pet stained carpets, furniture scratches, and dented appliances, which is why I gave a 4 star rating.....good but not perfect. There is a nice sandy private beach, but it takes 111 steps to get there, which was in the listing. Overall, the beds were comfortable, it was quiet and relaxing. We would book again."

The Sunset Room/single accommodation may not be available on weekends during the summer season: please inquire. This would be to allow our guests in the other rooms the most privacy as none share a wall with another. However, we do have to show the room as available on the weekends to allow guests to book the Private 2nd Floor, which includes the single Sunset Room. It's a short walk to Lake Michigan with great views of the sunset...near Stoney Lake, Silver Lake Sand Dunes & located in Claybanks township. The upstairs is a recent new addition with a relaxed, comfortable feel. Eating on the wrap-around porch or sleeping outdoors on the deck helps you feel connected with nature. The fire-pit is ready for roasting hotdogs & s'mores to bring back the simple pleasures of country living! Our cottage is a getaway for couples, families with kids or bigger groups.

It is quite spacious in a beautiful wooded setting less than a half mile from Lake Michigan. The upstairs is a new addition, and the downstairs has been remodeled.

- Cell phone service so near the lake is often compromised. Different carriers have different reception; Verizon is the best.

Looking for a "get away from it all"? Here's a beautiful rustic cedar cabin with beach access to Lake Michigan (walk down a short road and stairs). The beach is beautiful! The cabin sleeps alot of people but beware there is only one small bathroom. There is a smart TV and Wifi and there is a DVD and board games for rainy days and lots of fun things to do in the area (canoeing, sand dunes, horseback riding).

The space
Our cabin is single-wall meant for summer fun. It is set within a community of homes and cabins, some on the beach and some up on a bluff. We have our own private beach accessible by a walk down a short road and stairs to the beach. If you’d prefer a beach without the stairs and walking, the public Lake Michigan beach access (and boat access) is in Stony Lake, a 10 minute drive north. Silver Lake Sand Dunes are a 20 minute drive north.

Note: The cabin has a lot of sleeping space but I wouldn’t recommend more than 4 adults as the living area would get close with more. And there’s only one small bathroom. Children can sleep upstairs in the loft if they’re old enough to climb the stairs. It is not the best place for children who are still crawling or youngsters who are not yet safely climbing stairs.

Guests will have to provide their own sheets, pillowcases, and towels, as there is no washer/dryer on the premises.

The space
This home is a rare find with all the amenities of a quiet, peaceful beach getaway but within a short drive of many local area attractions.

Pull into the spacious and newly built parking pad and step right down into the lake house. Enter through the front door into the expansive and welcoming living area. On the main floor you'll find a fully stocked kitchen, large dining table for ten, three bedrooms and full bathroom (please note bath jets are not currently working). Off of the main living area you can walk onto the large deck with a grill, additional large dining table and fire pit. Stroll down the stairs to the walkout basement and you will find an additional bedroom, full bathroom and large recreation room with a huge wrap around couch and plenty of space to relax with your group. Both the upper and lower living areas feature a large TV with a Roku for your streaming needs. Speaking of streaming, the house has gig speed fiber internet so no need to limit your screens or battle your fellow houseguests for bandwidth. Hopefully you put down the screens at some point though to enjoy the best feature - outside! Walk right down the dune to the beach and continue walking in either direction for miles and enjoy the stunning natural beauty of Lake Michigan.

We have stocked the home with families and group getaways in mind. For the family you will find plenty of beach toys, floaties, children's life jackets, indoor kid toys, high chair, step stools, pack 'n' play, children's books, games and puzzles. We haven't forgotten the adults with plenty of additional beach chairs, books, games and puzzles located on-site as well.

You can explore the surrounding area of Montague and Whitehall less than a twenty minute drive from your doorstep. These towns have many grocery stores, ice cream spots, breweries, restaurants, a community theater and more. You can also access the Hart-Montague bike trail and walk along the scenic boardwalk and bridge over White Lake. Twenty minutes north you will find Silver Lake where you can rent a dune buggy or boat to explore the bustling little inland lake. If you're looking to stay closer you can grab groceries, dinner and ice cream just 10 minutes north in Stony Lake as well. If a larger city is on your vacation to do list you are only thirty minutes from Muskegon, forty minutes to Grand Haven or an hour to Holland or Grand Rapids - all perfect spots for a day trip out. Venturing north you are also within an hour drive to the towns of Manistee, Ludington and Pentwater.

Whether you stay at the home and enjoy the beach all day or explore any of the lovely surrounding attractions, you can be sure to end your day with a sunset view that can't be matched from the back deck or beach.

Hackney Haven is a family cottage we rent out a couple weeks a year. That said, this will feel more like staying at a lake front home than a lake front rental. There are over 140 steps to the beach, so be aware of that. But those steps lead from a gigantic deck with private Lake MI views, down to a private Lake MI beach with sun, sand, kayaks and a SUP board available with the rental. Not to mention a fire ring for beach fires at night.

Located on beautiful Lake Michigan just 1 mile north of White Lake, the setting and views are breathtaking. The property includes 110 feet of private beach on Lake Michigan on 1 acre of land in a quiet wooded area with two decks and two fire pits. One deck is connected to the house with a commercial grill and an outdoor table for 8. The other is on the bluff with stunning views of the Lake. With a fire pit in front of the house you have many options for relaxing and enjoyment.

This Lake Michigan house is perfect for a family vacation. Located on a dune on Lake Michigan just one mile north of White Lake, the setting and views are incredible.

Our home has a newly remodeled kitchen (2020) all rooms painted (2020) and updated beddings. We have 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. The entry level has two bedrooms and a full bath. One of these bedrooms has 2 double beds and the other has 4 double beds (two of them bunked). The washer and dryer are also on the entry level. The main floor is an open concept area with modern kitchen, dining area, living room and den. That level has the master bedroom with a queen bed and a full bath. There is also a pull out sofa bed in the den. A small loft (accessible via a spiral staircase) offers great views; a nice area to read a good book or playing a game. We have also added a whole house generator (2019)

Full amenities inside include all the normal appliances: refrigerator, stove/ oven, dishwasher, microwave, washer and dryer, air conditioning, on demand hot water, cable TV, and Wi-Fi internet access. There is also a separate beverage cooler.

The home is in a quiet area that you enter through a wooded drive from the east. There is only one neighbor to the south, a large grass/wooded dune is to the north, and beautiful Lake Michigan to the west. The outside area is equipped for all the Lake Michigan area enjoyment. There is a fire pit on the back-side (wooded side) of property with Adirondack chairs. There is a good size deck on the front side of the cottage with a Weber Genesis II three burner gas grill (2020) and outside eating space and lounging for 8 . There is also a bluff deck that sits on the precipice of the dune (about 150 ft from the cottage) with seating and panoramic views of Lake Michigan. Finally, the beach offers 110 ft of private frontage. Getting to the beach takes about 100 steps down the stairs to the waterfront, so make sure to take some water, soda, or an adult beverage with you. Beach chairs are stored in unit at the waterfront.

For our family and friends, we'd start the morning with coffee on the upper deck while the sun rose over our backs. As the sun climbed, we'd head down to the beach with our coolers and snacks for an afternoon on the shore. Later in the day, we'd gather at the "cottage deck" for appetizers and dinner. Then we'd head back to the upper deck to watch the sun set... nothing else like it on earth. The evening concluded with a bonfire and of course S'mores.

Rain can't even dampen the mood with plenty of puzzles, games, or movies to keep the family happy.

Beyond the house, Old Channel Trail Golf Course is a mile to the North and the Old Channel Inn (lunch/dinner) is a mile south. White Hall & Montague are a 15 minute drive for more restaurants, movies or other activities. Silver Lake (Sand Dune rides, etc) is about 30 minutes north. Further north are Pentwater or Ludington or South to Muskegon or Grand Haven for more adventures. (20/45 minute drive).

The Montague/Whitehall area is about 15 minutes away and has a lot to offer! There are breweries, restaurants, shops, a farmers market, and artisan market, as well as several festivals hosted throughout the year.

This fully remodeled house has 100 feet of waterfront access on White Lake for you to enjoy. The house is located far from the street which adds to the peacefulness. You can enjoy sunrises overlooking White Lake. The new staircase takes you down to the spacious lakefront which has a fire pit, picnic table, kayaks, stand up paddle board, and, of course, the water! From the water front you can see Montague on your left, along with sunrises.

The space
My home features 4 bedrooms, three with Cal-King beds and one with a Queen bed. Two of the Cal-King bedrooms also have a set of twin bunk beds. Very beautiful home in a great area with tons of great activities to enjoy from world class fishing, boating, water skiing, kayaking, and tubing on the White Lake, White River, Lake Michigan, Muskegon Lake and Muskegon River to hiking the Manistee National Forest. There are bike/walking trails just a very short walk down the road where you can enjoy a stroll. Medbery Park on Lake Michigan is only a short 8 minutes away via car.

The property is 2 miles from town, so easily accessed for those last minute s'more ingredients!

Home was fully renovated in 2023 and so you will have an entire customized kitchen, new flooring throughout both the main level and basement. Both bathrooms are completely new with showers. The lakeside view is enhanced with all new windows and sliding doors opening on to a new deck. Morning coffee can be enjoyed overlooking the rising sun from the 3 seasons room surrounded by sliding doors. The view is spectacular through the changing seasons as you can see from the pictures. The spacious back yard is ideal for games and parties. Games supplied include: badminton, slack line, and corn hole.

The parking is spacious with the house being the only house on this street.

You can fish from the dock as well as moor you boat. I supply kayaks (2 for experienced kayakers and 2 for newbies), 1 stand up paddle board, and one row boat(12' aluminum). The resident bald eagle fishes from a nearby tree and is easily observed from the dock. Blue herons and other water fowl are abundant as well. Deer and wild turkeys make their daily appearance and often turkey feathers are left behind.

Michigan Adventures Amusement Park and Water Park are only a short 15-minute drive away and is worth at least two days worth of fun. Definitely some fun coasters and water rides there (even for the adults!).

Check out the great spots for ice cream, creative sandwiches and soups.

Take a 15-minute trip to the Duck Lake State Park where you can enjoy all of nature.

How about a trip through the Manistee National Forest on your 4 wheeler, dirt bike, or other ATV? Head over to the Motorcycle Trail Head on Brunswick Rd about a 30-minute drive.

Never been to a petting zoo? Head to Lewis Farm and Petting Zoo up in New Era, which is about 15 minutes from the home.

Looking forward to beautiful white sand beaches of Lake Michigan! How about tearing some of those dunes up at the Silver Lake Dunes area where you can ride ATV’, dirt bikes, trucks, or dune buggies. Dune buggy rentals are available all over Silver Lake Dunes area. The drive is about 30 minutes.

Is drinking a craft beer your thing? There are three brew pubs close by.

Want to try a family bike trip down the Montague/Hart bike trail? The trail picks up about ¼ mile east of the home on Old Channel Trail. Don’t have bikes? Not a problem, head to White Lake Excursions located in Montague. It wouldn’t be a bad idea to call ahead to reserve your bikes!

Are any of your children a little Beethoven??? Stop on over to the Blue Lake Fine Arts Music Camp!

If a leisurely game of golf is more your thing, don’t worry, we have you covered. There are numerous Golf courses just a short drive away. My personal favorite is the Golf Course located in Twin Lake about 30 minutes away. This gem is nestled in the nearby National Forest.

The main floor contains an expansive view of the lake from both inside and outside the fully remodeled home. The house sits on a low bluff with newly built stairs leading down to the lake with 100' of lakefront. A new dock to moor your boat or you can fish from it as well. There are 2 kayaks (for advanced kayakers) and an additional 2 kayaks for beginners), along with a stand up paddle board. The fire pit is close by for evening fires by the lake. Firewood for your first marshmallow roast is provided and you can purchase additional bundles right at the house. The property is about 1.2 acres so there is plenty of space to play as well as park your vehicles. The property is quite private with woods on one side and a cottage on the other (a row of blue spruce shields the next door cottage from the property with adds to the feeling of privacy).

Fireplace: Bring your firewood! A wood burning fireplace is featured at this location.

Fire-pit: Bring your smores supplies and firewood, there is an outdoor firepit for guest use.

Fishing: White Lake is just 15 minutes (7.7 miles) from the property and is home to various fish! You can find Bluegill, Sunfish, Black Crappie, White Crappie, Rock Bass, Yellow Perch, Northern Pike, Largemouth and Smallmouth Bass.

Fishing License: A license is required to fish in Michigan.

Snowmobiles: a person (resident and nonresident) that operates a snowmobile in Michigan is required to purchase a snowmobile trail permit. The trail permit enables snowmobilers to ride state-designated trails and thousands more miles of public roads and on public lands (where authorized). It is valid for one year, which begins Oct. 1 and ends Sept. 30 of the following year. State-designated trails are open Dec. 1-March 31 and grooming occurs when there is enough snow on the ground.
