- "Let me first say that I don't normally write reviews, but this one needed to be done because exceeded my expectations. My friend and I were on vacation in Michigan. The last few days we were in Mt. Pleasant(my home town) visiting my sister. We are not big in staying at hotels because they just seemed confined and limited. I was so happy when I found this house to rent! Barry is an amazing host. The house was impeccable!!! Super clean, nicely decorated and furnished amazingly. On Mother's day, I was able to invite my family over to celebrate. We used the gas grill, outdoor fireplace and had wonderful time playing cards at the big table. Barry should be praised for his attention to every detail in making sure our stay was comfortable. He thinks of everything! We were on our last leg of our trip so it was so helpful to be able to do our laundry with detergent and softener included! I couldn't believe it. We had already stopped at the store to pick up what needed for laundry but he had it all there for us. The list is endless.....games to play, coffee, creamer, water, popcorn, ketchup and mustard packets, salt, pepper, you name it he provided it! High quality sheets and towels. Bathrooms were supplied with shampoo and soap. My favorite part was the note he left explaining certain details of the house and welcoming us there. So cool! He also just had a new heating/air system installed and that kept us warm in the colder evenings. I can tell that he prides himself in making sure everyone who visits this house get the highest quality of service. Top notch!!!!! Thanks Barry."

This beautiful suite is the prime location right downtown walking distance to bars, eateries, Cops and Doughnuts, shops, rails for trails, parks and the movie theater!

Fit for two but spacious enough for a small family, the East Room has a queen size bed, leather sofa, small table and kitchen, and beautiful bathroom. Look out the picture window for a view of main street Clare.

We are 17 minutes form the casino and CMU.

The entrance is located on main street right next to the 505 Cafe. If you have trouble finding the door stop in to the cafe and they can point you in the right direction. Use the keypad on the door to enter. The East unit will be the First unit to your right. You will receive the door code in the "trip details" portion of Air Bnb 3 days before. Reasonable house rules, easy check-out process. Although we never had time to use it, wi-fi and very nice screen viewing options in living room and both bedrooms. We were in town for a family event, and just needed extra places to sleep and a warm spot to gather our small group between outings - it met our needs very well. Generally quiet area, although could hear neighbors in other half of house, and some music coming from a nearby venue fairly late on weekend nights. Still, quieter and so much more pleasant and home-like than any hotel!"
