Spacious lakefront home in a rural area. Home is situated on 4 wooded acres on northwest edge of Lake Broward. Nice dock w/ screened porch in clear swimming area visible from home. Good lake for fishing and boating. Private boat ramp and ample parking. Full lake views from back of house with sunny mornings and shady afternoons. South side of home has 3 bedrooms (2 queen, 1 double) w/1.5 baths. Center has living room w/fireplace and full kitchen. North side has large studio suite (queen) with a full bath, 2nd full kitchen, dining area, and best views. Large air conditioned porch with dining area along rear of home overlooking lake. Screened porch nestled between the two dining areas. Four satellite TVs and wifi. With two queen size futons, home can sleep up to 12 people.

Accommodations: The south end of the house has three bedrooms (2 queen w/ satellite TV and DVD players, one double with TV/VCR) sharing one full and one half bath. The center section of the house has a living room with satellite TV, DVD player, a full kitchen, and enclosed back porch. The north end of the house has a large studio-style suite with queen bed, satellite TV, DVD player, full bath, full kitchen/bar with dining area, back screen porch, and open front porch with gas grill.

Amenities: Both kitchens are fully equipped. Towels and linens are supplied. There is a picnic table in the upper part of the back yard, and a gas grill on the north side (front). There are two kayaks near the white sand swimming area, and there is a screened porch on the dock. There is plenty of parking and a private boat ramp.

General Area: This is a 4-acre rural setting, private but not isolated, located just 2 miles off SR 17 in Pomona Park. A large grocery store and several good restaurants are within 10-20 minute drive. Crescent Lake 'Bass Capital of the World' is 10 miles south, with public boat ramp; from there, Dunns Creek waterway takes you to St. Johns River at Palatka. St. Augustine Beach, Daytona Beach, Ormond and New Smyrna within 60 miles.

This is an older home which has been added onto over the years by various families. We put in new windows, central air & heat, renovated the main kitchen, and remodeled the master suite and kitchen/dining area at the north end. This is a spacious home, well suited to large families, is clean and pet-friendly. There is a cottage next to the house which contains a storage area for some construction materials, and is partially fenced apart from the main house. If this kind of thing bothers you, please reserve another property for your vacation rental.

Weekly rentals only during June, July and August; Saturday is the changeover day. Monthly rentals only during January, February, and March.

- "We brought our grandkids here for Gammy Camp this year. Everything was exactly as described. Great place to sit back and relax. We had a wonderful time and will be coming back." - "This cabin on the lake was beautiful and clean. Our downfall we encountered was the ice machine in the fridge wasn’t working and you weren’t able to get water from the fridge. Also the outlet in the downstairs bathroom was broken and could not work at all. There was mold on the shower curtain. I don’t believe I was made aware of any of these things. It was just disappointing to come across those things for the amount it cost to stay. Like I mentioned, the cabin was beautiful, cozy and clean just except for the few set backs."

Being that there is no public boat ramps ,this lake never is over populated with boaters. Come relax on the large screened porch, or cast a line from the dock. Located within 45 minutes of St Augustine, World Golf Village, Daytona , Deland , and a little over an hour to Orlando. A wonderful place to set relax watch the beautiful sunsets!

Kayaks: 2 kayaks are now available to use at your own risk. Requires electronic signing of liability waiver for all members in group if would like given code for access. Weight limited listed on kayaks, must adhere to. Requires PFD/life jackets to use. We have these PFDs on site: 2 standard adult size, One 30-50 lb child, One 50-90 lb child. No use under 30 lbs, if you need a different size or more than what we have, please bring your own. If you would like to use, please let me know immediately after booking and before arrival to start process.

Tire swing: Use at your own risk. Children must be directly supervised when using. One person at a time (advised limiting to under 150 lbs). No standing, hold on with both hands. Avoid swinging towards tree/twisting rope, may cause injury. We make an effort to secure the swing but cannot guarantee it won’t malfunction or cause injury. Report equipment issues ASAP. Do not use zip line - not set up for use

Motion/audio activated Cameras on site mainly exterior walkways, upper deck, and all cabin views/driveways/lake view. Game room has the only indoor camera on site. These cameras are not actively monitored without incident except for upper deck camera which will only notify if someone is on roof or goes over railing - which is a safety issue. PLEASE NOTE - boat lifts on our dock are prohibited from being used. We have not tested them and do not want to take a chance with our guests. We welcome people with boats and other water machines, and welcome tying their boats to our dock.

The master bedroom has a comfy queen bed, huge master bathroom with a walk-in shower and a sitting area for relaxing. The second bedroom is set up with two twin beds, nightstand and its own TV. This setup is great for families or friends. You’ll love the modern kitchen with all stainless steel appliances, a big farmhouse sink, and a dishwasher to make cleanup easy. There’s also a new, large capacity washer and dryer, TVs for winding down, and lightning-fast Starlink internet. Don’t forget the two covered porches, front and back, with outdoor seating on the front where you can kick back and relax or have a meal.

Outside, there is tons of space on the milling covered driveway to park your vehicles, boat, or trailer with ease. The entire property is fully fenced with two gates, including one with an automatic opener for extra convenience and peace of mind. Charming cabin on Lake Broward. Get away from the crowds on the peaceful, private spring-fed lake! Watch the sunrise on the dock with a cup of coffee. Bring your canoes, paddle boards, and fishing gear. After a day on the lake, take a dip in the saltwater pool, grill out on the patio, and relax by the outdoor fire pit.

This cabin is rustic (NOT fancy) with the comfort of modern amenities. Think of it as "glamping" .... but better!!

The Space
The cabin has a master bedroom suite with a king bed and pullout sofa bed. The bunk room includes a bunkbed, 2 trundle beds, and a cot. There is a pullout sofa in the living room.

There are 2 full bathrooms, one with a walk-in shower and one with a bathtub.

The kitchen is nicely stocked. There is an honor bar available for drinks to purchase.

There is a gas grill and fire pit on the deck. We keep propane in the tank for the grill. If you run out of propane and need to replace the tank, let us know and we can reimburse you for the new propane.

There is a saltwater pool with a lounging area (NOT a hot tub). It bubbles when you turn the knob located on the pool enclosure on the wall.

The property can be rented for small events, like an intimate family wedding or reunion. Additional fees my apply.

The housekeeper lives in the neighborhood and is available for special requests. Please message us if you have special requests.

NOTE: the property does not have a boat ramp or access to launch a boat. Lake Broward is a private lake without a public boat ramp. Bring your non-motorized water toys (kayaks, canoes, paddle boards, floats, etc).
