It was a nice, intimate getaway within an hour of our home. The space was about 900 square feet, which was bigger than expected from the pictures. Everything was open aside from the private bathroom. Interior was beautifully decorated, and the Christmas tree plus holiday accents were an unexpected bonus. The property was well stocked with supplies that even included a welcome basket with snacks and wine. Location was within 5-10 minutes of restaurants and shopping. Although the highway was visible about 1/4 mile away, there was no issue with noise or disruption. We look forward to visiting again!"

There’s a private entrance to the property. It’s a tiny home that has a twin sized bed in the living room area with a t.v., air conditioning unit. The ceilings are rather short so if you’re over 6ft tall, this might not be the cabin for you.

Our 1930s-era Beard Street house has been in the family for over 40 years. A pack-n-play with$20 cleaning fee and high chair & booster seats are available upon request with a $10 cleaning fee for each or $20 for both boosters and the highchair. Guests share a large country kitchen with plenty of counter space, a double oven, 5 burner cooktop, stocked coffee bar, dishwasher, & refrigerator with filtered water and ice maker. It also has 2 microwaves, & toaster oven, several crockpots, and a rice maker. It is stocked with a lot of: dishes, silverware, pots and pans, baking pans, cookie sheets, and the utensils for baking and cooking & serving. It even has an electric hand mixer.
This shared kitchen has a coffee bar with decaf and regular coffee, sugar, sweetners, & powdered creamer. We also have Hot Chocolate mix, flour, salt, pepper, garlic salt, Seasoned salt, chili powder, garlic powder & basil.
You can keep nonperishable food items in your room or in any open cabinet or drawer. Tiny chalkboards in the right drawer of the island can be used to label your space. Just please be aware to leave room for other guests to store their food also.

Guests will first enter through the French doors on the southeast side of the house. You will get the code to that door and directions on how to get the keys to your private suite the morning of your arrival. Once you have your keys you have the option of entering your private suite from the south west front porch or by going through the shared living and using the locked door that is accessed from the large shared kitchen.

When you arrive the entire property is all yours! The master bedroom has one queen bed with a private bathroom and a shared closet with a bedroom that has two single beds. The third room has a queen bed and a private closet. The shared closet is large enough for a pack and play to make a nursery room! We also will have an inflatable mattress for extra guest. For cold evenings the house has a wood burning stove and plenty of fire wood for you to use. You will have access to the private spring fed pond, row boat, kids kayak and life jackets. The shop will also be available during your stay to play ping pong and basketball. The house has large windows overlooking the pond and is a great space for people that want to play. A grass fishing pier extends into the pond with plenty of outdoor chairs for everyone and the fishing pier has a fire pit. We have over a mile of hiking trails to explore through the woods or ride bikes!

The Pond is Catch and Release only. In order for us to manage the pond and fish population we ask that all fish are released unless they are injured. There is a twin rollaway One Time $25 fee & 2nd optional bunkroom with a twin/twin and a full/full bunk. THERE IS A ONE TIME $75.00 FEE FOR USE OF THIS BUNKROOM TO HELP COVER the house keepers charge for EXTRA CLEANING & WASHING OF THE EXTRA linens. You MUST REQUEST them at least 7 days prior to arrival. (This gives us time to assure they’re ready and the key is with your other keys.) Bunkroom is off the large living & would have access to the 1/2 bath in the laundry room (also off the large living). However, its guests would have to use a bathroom in one of the 4 suites for bathing/showering.

A TV is not listed or pictured, however I recently acquired one and have it available on the mantel. It does not have a remote and is not connected to any service. I do have good WiFi and you can use it with your own Roku, computer with streaming or similar device.

With whole house bookings guests have access to the whole house, with all 4 suites, EXCEPT the extra, 2nd, bunk room UNLESS you I SEND A REQUEST FOR IT & have paid the 1 time $75.00 fee. This is to cover the extra cleaning and laundry. The Bunkroom is off the large living. If you don’t request it and pay the 1 time charge, the door will remain locked. There is also a small storage room and small supply room for cleaning and maintenance that are locked & unavailable to guests.
You also will have complete access to the large yard, pavilion, fire pit, & laundry room available to only your group. You DO NOT HAVE ACCESS to the land beyond the fence.

YOU CAN SLEEP UP TO 28 if you use the full hide-a-bed in the Homestead Suite & queen hide-a-bed in the Heritage Suite living areas, request the twin roll away bed ($25 EXTRA FEE) and use the optional bunkroom($75 EXTRA FEE) that is off the Large shared living area.

You MUST LET ME KNOW IF YOU WANT TO USE THE HIDE-A-BEDS, ROLL AWAY & PUT YOUR GUEST COUNT UP 1 MORE ABOVE 14 FOR EACH HIDE-A-BED. There is a one time fee of $25 to use the ROLL AWAY. THIS IS TO COVER THE COST I NEED TO PAY my cleaners for the extra laundry and/or cleaning.

TO USE THE BUNKROOM (7th BEDROOM), YOU NEED TO REQUEST IT. THERE IS AN EXTRA one time $75 FEE FOR ITS USE AND I WILL HAVE TO SEND YOU A REQUEST FOR THE EXTRA MONEY. (YOU CAN DECIDE TO DO THIS UP TO 7 DAYS PRIOR TO ARRIVAL. THIS IS TO GIVE US TIME TO MAKE SURE IT IS READY AND THE KEY TO IT IS IN YOUR KEY BOX.)(The fee is for the extra cleaning and laundry.)
