With 2 bedrooms and a loft it sleeps 8 with 2 queen beds, 2 double beds, all lines provided. 1 full bath with towels provided. Kitchen is foodie ready, stocked with staples (coffee, flour, sugar, salt, pepper, spices), newer pots/pans, microwave, 4 burner GE gas stove, fridge, coffee pot, toaster, blender. Large Knotty Pine living room with 50" flat screen internet/smart TV, Blu-Ray player, selection of Blu Ray movies, and bar area for relaxing/card playing. Internet/ WIFI provided. This log home has a fully-equipped kitchen with a full size stove/oven, refrigerator, and dish washer. - "The pictures of the house don't do it justice. It's better than the photos show. There's TONS of room. We stayed here for a week with our extended family. We had 10 adults and 8 children (6mths -12yrs). We spent the days on the beach exploring the rocks, kayaking the water, and enjoying the decks. The evenings were spent sitting around a fire and playing in the game room. There was enough room for us all to share meals in the kitchen and cook without ever feeling crowded. We were able to put the little kids to bed upstairs and still stay awake downstairs without bothering them. There is enough seating for everyone. The upstairs loft area with the pull out couches is massive. The kitchen has everything you could need when it comes to cooking. The cleaning closet was stocked with everything we needed (even though we brought all our own). There wasn't a pack n play or high chair (but we brough our own so this wasn't an issue). A quick drive down to Harrisville for ice cream, playground, and live music was nice. The nearby dinosaur park was a huge hit with the kids. Alpena was a 30 min drive away for a mid week Meijer trip. There was plenty of extra blankets to use for throw blankets while we sat on the deck in the evening. I wish I could attach photos because it seriously was the best house/location. This house had it all and has TONS of space for large groups to have their own space and still spend time together. We all agreed we would definitely be back. Love this space!"

Beautiful small cabin overlooking a working trout pond. Listen to the small waterfalls from silver creek into the pond. Cabin has amazing views and hiking trails into the national forest and we can’t wait to have you here. Be advised, cellphone service is very limited with most carriers and we do have wifi. Rainbow trout have just been refilled for the year and the owner feeds them daily, it’s such a great experience to watch them. They will swim right around the back deck, there’s also a fire pit in the front yard, very peaceful.

Located in Hubbard Lake, MI with private deeded access to Hubbard Lake the ~8800 acre lake is in the heart of the Huron National Forest. +/- 1200 ft2 the Knotty Pine Retreat at Hubbard Lake is on a very quiet private road (6 cabins), added as a vacation rental in 2020, it's very Fresh/New. With 2 bedrooms and a loft it sleeps 8 with 2 queen beds, 2 double beds, all linens provided. 1 full bath with towels provided. Kitchen is " foodie" ready, stocked with staples (coffee, flour, sugar, salt, pepper, spices), new pots/pans, microwave, 4 burner GE gas stove, fridge, coffee pot, toaster, blender. Large Knotty Pine living room with 50" flat screen internet/smart TV, Blu-Ray player, selection of Blu Ray movies, and bar area for relaxing/card playing. Internet provided. There are outdoor chairs to enjoy the fire-pit along with a patio complete with outdoor seating and new gas grill. The lake access is 1/2 block down the road from the cabin with deeded private access. In addition to this private access, a private beach association is also included, with use of picnic tables, swim raft, dock. The cabin is newly added as a rental, all new dishes/pots/linens/towels/beds.
Open year round to enjoy the lake, swimming in the summer, ice fishing/snowmobiling in the winter.
Typical rental week is Saturday to Saturday (check in 4pm, check out 10am) during the summer months.

This Up North getaway is the perfect place to unwind while enjoying what the local area has to offer. Just south of Michigans twelfth largest lake, there’s plenty of outdoor activities within 20 miles to keep you entertained during your stay. A mile drive to White Pine National Golf Course and two miles of the closest boat launch. The variety of restaurants, markets, groceries and gas means there’s no need to travel to the nearest big city.

The space
This vacation hideaway is located at the south end of Hubbard Lake, two miles from the closest public boat launch. It was built four years ago and tailored like a hunting lodge.

**Best suited for two adults** There is room for up to two more if they’re aware of the sleeping options. Please note that the sleeping options are mostly in the living room and include the pullout sofa mattress, the fold-away twin bed and the sectional couch. There is also a leather futon in the loft accessible through the pulldown stairs in the kitchen. The loft area is not for children.

The living room has a flat screen tv with access to cable tv and high speed internet for streaming. There’s also a wall mounted electric fireplace and an ac unit. Flat screen tv in the kitchen/dining area with access to cable tv also.

Plenty of parking directly in front of the rental with multiple spots for boats.

The space
The property is a log cabin with well over 3000 SqFt of living space. This Log cabin, originally built in 1935 is nestled on a bluff overlooking Hubbard Lake, the steps down to the boathouse and to the lake side are easyto traverse, there is a Lakeside Pergola - access to the lake it’s easy, the dock is long and spacious with walk in steps from the dock down to the lake floor. Young children and elderly, do not have an issue utilizing the water, Lakeside or deck area.

The property boast large open grassy areas lakeside, where people can play sports, there is an on-site badminton/volleyball net, alternatively, streetside is a dead-end road, nearly 100% covered by less shaded areas of Birch and pine trees.

The property is off of a private dead-end road, there’s a five stall, detached garage with plenty of parking as well as space available to store luggable or additional supplies.

The driveway is wide and level, made out of gravel and easily capable of handling, a boat trailer or other recreational vehicle.

Guest access
100% of the space is usable by guest, except for a couple of locked garage doors, some personal drawer spaces within the home itself and the on property owners boat. There isn’t chopsticks on there dishes and silverware, but you can’t adjust that. It’s just dishes and silverware.

Other things to note
The property has ample parking, with a five stall detached garage. There are private space for storage, ingress and egress for recreational vehicles or to turn around with a trailer is made easy because of the low slope, landscape and gravel private road. The driveway of the lodge is wide and level Easily able to manage even large larger RV’s.
