Set on 3.5 private wooded acres, Rose's Cabin is a cozy, work-in-progress, 600' square open floor plan rustic cabin with 1 queen bed, and 1 full bed in its own nook. Enjoy the peace and quiet of the woods during your stay as well as exploring the nearby parks, hills, waterfalls, and lakes. The cabin has a large multi-level deck, part of which is covered, with a picnic table, grill, fire pit, bench swing, and several relaxing chairs. The deck is surrounded with a 4' tall railing with gates at the exits so dogs can't wander out. There is even a fenced in area of the yard behind the porch.

Please note: This is a pet friendly cabin, and most of our guests bring their dogs to visit. We diligently clean between each guest and try to make sure all surfaces are clean of pet hair. Sometimes, we may fall short. If any kind of pet hair is a problem for you and not to your liking, this may not be the cabin for you.

The cabin has a mini-split heat pump and AC, WIFI, 32" Roku TV, full bathroom with tub and shower, computer work area, and a large couch. The eat-in kitchen has a table for 4, a microwave, counter top oven w/air fryer, refrigerator w/freezer, 2 burner stove top, and a pod coffee maker. Cookware and dishes are supplied.

All of the indoor amenities are new and complete, but we're still working on the exterior. And, of course, as warm weather moves in, everything will turn green and flowers will bloom.

It sits at the back side of a heavily wooded ten (10) acre lot creating the sensation of being in your own little world.

To get to the cabin you will follow a gravel road approximately 0.5 miles to the property. The driveway is gravel and some concrete. It is approximately 0.25 miles long and traverses a steep hill. The entire area is heavily wooded... and, beautiful.

Local dining includes 'Victory Valley Vineyards' and 'Aunt Sue's'. You can find both of them on the Internet.

Breakfast foods will be provided if requested.

There are so many things to do in our area including Hiking, White Water Rafting, Tubing, Fly Fishing, Horseback Riding, Mountain Biking and Biking. The list goes on and on. There is something for everyone.

- "To say the pictures don’t do this place is justice is an understatement! The pictures and descriptions are accurate but do not begin to depict how amazing this place is! It’s sooo much bigger than it looks and sooo much more amazing than you could imagine. After a long drive from Maryland to arrive here was such a welcome retreat. The place is immaculately clean, the many seating areas were so comfy and the beds were all super comfy. While keeping its rustic charm it still felt luxurious and relaxing. The kitchen is well stocked with all you could need. I spent every morning sitting on the deck with my coffee waking up to the sounds of the river and the birds and the wind in the trees. One morning a hummingbird even popped up to say hello to me! The river was refreshing and we spent hours with our teen daughter fishing, swimming, and floating in it. The hot tub was relaxing after a long day of swimming and hiking. The pool tables and games were great and my daughter loved playing whenever we were having some downtime for the day. There is evens a little mini fridge upstairs to keep some drinks and snacks convenient while hanging out upstairs playing pool. There were only 3 of us but I’m excited to rent again and bring the rest of the family. There is so much room! Also the neighborhood is beautiful and quiet and there is a great view of Table Rock from the street too! We enjoyed Caesars Head State Park and the overlook and Devils Kitchen and Mountain House restaurant too!"

The space
Our house is a newly renovated cabin that doesn't look or feel anything like the original structure which was built in the 1940s. The kitchen is fully equipped for preparing delicious meals. Coffee and tea are provided. Each of the three bedrooms has a queen-size bed and bath. The great room is spacious and comfortable. Nestled in the woods, the location is private, yet provides easy access to wonderful restaurants, shops and numerous state parks, national forests and other outdoor activities in the Upstate and Western NC.
You will love the cabin because of its peaceful, comfortable atmosphere. Sitting at the creekside deck is the perfect spot to enjoy the calming sounds of nature surrounding you.

- "Amazing property. Perfect for an unplugged getaway. As per the description, keep in mind that it does not have a full kitchen set up and cooking is not recommended. All restaurants and food stores are about a 20-30 minute drive. It is located right near Table Rock State Park. SC has the best state parks. Their trails are clearly marked and if you follow their directions you will not get stranded or lost. Highly recommend this place. Clean, warm, and beautiful! The bed is super comfortable in your own little loft! A lot of windows and light. Great interior. We were here in the winter and it was still beautiful. A must stay in any season."

Two bedroom two bath cabin situated on seven acres bordering beautiful Table Rock State Park in Pickens SC and just a short drive from other fantastic adventures! Whether you venture out on one of the nearby popular lakes, go hiking in one of the State Parks, play a round of golf at The Rock Golf Club, visit the Hagood Mill Historic Site or the School of Mountain Arts and Heritage at HSC, or simply stay onsite to enjoy the surroundings and relax by the fire pit, bring your sense of adventure!

The original cabin structure was built over 70 years ago and breathes of history and a simpler time in the mountains. Housed within is a modern kitchen, a living room with a fireplace, a bedroom with a queen-size bed, and a full bath with a stand-up shower. In addition, the expansion to this cabin years later includes a huge master bedroom with a king size bed, a walk in closet, and a full bath with a large stand-up shower. Large picture windows in the dining area and master bedroom provide a fantastic view of the woods behind the cabin. The large outdoor deck surrounding the front of the cabin includes wrought iron patio dining furniture and lounge chairs, a perfect place to eat outside or lounge and read. The built-in fire pit at the side of the cabin is surrounded by permanent seating of stone and wood. The fire pit area provides the entry way to the walking trail and glamping pad on the property.

There are three outdoor security cameras are onsite. One mounted on the eve of the cabin monitoring the rear driveway, one mounted on the eve of the cabin monitoring the main entrance door, one mounted on the rear deck monitoring the front yard and main driveway.

The cabin is located right off of the Cherokee Foothills Scenic Highway which can be heavily traveled at times. You will hear noise from the traffic during these times.

Raptors Rest is a peaceful, serene cabin on 6 forested acres. It's secluded, half a mile from the nearest busy road, and near the far end of a cul-de-sac neighborhood. Perfect for anyone needing to escape the hustle and bustle! Enjoy the sights and sounds of nature while relaxing on the front porch, back porch, or in the hot tub. This 3BR/2BA cabin is close in proximity to Clemson, Easley, Greenville, Table Rock, Caesars Head, Foothills and Palmetto Trails, Nine Times Forest, fishing, kayaking, golfing, and much more! Enjoy games, books, magazines, coloring books, DVD's in the upstairs den area if you rather stay in. Yoga mats and exercise balls are also provided! Plenty of yard is available to play fetch with your dog(s) as the property is dog friendly. (Every effort is made to clean pet hair, but some may still remain.) Sleeps a maximum of 8 with sofa bed. Well stocked kitchen, washer, dryer, and gas grill available. Wi-Fi and streaming capability. There are 3 security cameras on the property covering the front door, back door, the walkway, and the driveway.

This lovely 4 bedroom property is located in one of the most picturesque parts of Blue Ridge mountains. Nestled in the foothills of Table Rock mountain , it is just 15 min away from Table Rock State park. At Table Rock enjoy a wonderful lake , waterfalls and many hiking trails to explore. Need more adventure? Head to Cezar Head State park which offers memorable vistas over the whole mountain and valley range. We are also close to the "Pritty place" which is an open , breath taking chapel on the top of the mountain, popular for weddings and special celebrations.

Greenville, SC and Ashville, NC are about 45-50 min drive from the house. Both cities are very desirable tourist destinations known for their unique culture, cuisine and entertainment venues.

No matter where your visit is taking you Table Rock Retreat is the perfect spot to enjoy time with family and nature.

- "So peaceful great you don't hear alot of traffic." - "Relaxing." - "We really enjoyed our recent visit - so much so that we want to rent again, this time bringing grown kids and grandkids. Our short visit was to check the place out for future reference. There are lots of nooks and crannies and cozy spaces on two levels with a marvelous movie/reading loft with a wood stove. The pool house is very cozy also, a great space for games and of course there's a great lap pool. It's older but still in great shape. The house is much more like staying at a friend's place than a typically sterile/rental feel. The myriad of porches and outdoor couches and the jacuzzi make it perfect for warm weather visits also. The location being near an ice cream and fun touristy/cafe spot is wonderful as is the very close proximity to beautiful Table Rock Park as well as plenty of other nearby trails including the Joccassee Gorges area. The only drawback is the short drive past what looks like some sketchy/shacky places, but - hey - it's the mountains so quirky neighbors are typical and the host has great reassurances in their welcome info about the neighbors being friendly. The welcome info is really great and detailed and helpful. We got to meet the owner who was super helpful and friendly when we requested help with some pool information. We'll be back many times I'm sure."

Stairs are very steep walking up to loft. (45 degrees) And about 25 steps in total.

- "My family (spouse and 2 children, 11 & 12) and I were in town to attend a wedding on Saturday. We arrived late Friday evening to a clean and comfortable loft. We enjoyed some tv and learned a new card game, five crowns. We all had a good night's rest, both Friday & Saturday. We noticed the state park pass, which was a great idea, unfortunately we didn't have the time. The Barnaminium was very comfortable and decorated very nice and well stocked. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again. Thanks for having us Mr. Tim."

Nestled in the Oolenoy Valley, home to the Cherokee Indians, rural route Highway 11 runs east-to-west and makes travel from Interstate 85 to Interstate 26 easily accessible.
The cabin has one double bed, and two single beds in an open loft area. It is fully furnished and supplied with dinnerware and cooking utensils.
There is a wrap around porch and a Creekside deck. If you want peace and quiet, this is the place!

Travel less than 20 miles/25 minutes to Lake Jocassee or Keowee, Jocassee Gorges, The Foothills Trail, Table Rock State Park, Lake Oolenoy, Eastatoee Valley, countless waterfalls, scenic drives, and so much more. Relax in nature with peace of mind that civilization isn't far away. Less than 15 miles/20 minutes to the growing town of Pickens, SC where grocery and dining needs can be met.

The cabin itself will provide much of its own natural entertainment with its large field for recreation, the fire pit for warm conversation, the Oolenoy River and one of its many feeder streams for the comforting sound of fresh water running over a shoal.

Disclaimer: Please be aware that this is truly a rustic cabin in a fairly remote area, surrounded by some of the most remote land in the entire state. There are several species of wildlife, and this is there home before it is ours. During your visit, you may expect to see various insects, snakes, varmints, wild hogs, the occasional black bear, deer, and more. This property is intentionally manicured within immediate proximity of the cabin itself only. Venturing farther away from the designated cabin area is considered to be at your own risk.
