Lived biking over to the main resort pool and golfing on the resort course. Check-in was a bit confusing because we weren’t contacted with any check-in instructions and same goes for checkout. We assumed to go to the front desk of the resort each time, but weren’t sure if we should do anything special to the condo before we left. Overall we had an excellent time and will definitely return again!"

We love the condo and the area. From the master bedroom you can watch the sunrise without ever leaving the bed. The beach is never crowded. You can always find a place to set up your tent and chairs. My 6 yo granddaughter loves the pool and she met a friend there which makes for relaxing days by the pool for the parents. Upon returning home, my granddaughter realized she had left her favorite stuffed animal that she sleeps with. I contacted Gazal and within a couple of days Everest was back in my granddaughters arms! The Hideaway was just recently remodeled with modern taste and simple design to ensure that our guests feel comfortable in every aspect of their stay. All renovations were also completed using environmentally friendly and repurposed materials where possible, while maintaining quality craftsmanship. The space has one bedroom, kitchen, and living room as well as a bathroom. The house also sits on a large lot so our guests can bring their boats or pwc’s to enjoy the local waters. It is a private space, provides private parking, a partially fenced yard and lots of wildlife!

Boating:
There are over 10 boat ramps within 4 miles (the closest is public and located about.3 miles from the property) and many more just outside that radius to provide the perfect location to explore the area or take part in any local fishing tournaments. If you wish to rent a boat there is a marina located a half a mile down the road that offers boat rentals and fuel.
Fishing:
There are half a dozen bait shops within 4 miles that offer live bait and frozen bait. They also offer all gear and tackle needed for your trip
Food:
While there are locations all throughout Jacksonville we can recommend, there are three seafood restaurants located on the water all within 4 miles that are highly rated. Each is very different from the next and offer beautiful views for dinner. For those who would prefer to eat home, you can stop by one of our local shrimpers where you can buy fresh shrimp directly off the boat to take home and cook!
State and Local Parks:
There are dozens of state parks located within the Timucuan Ecological Preserve that offer birding, bike trails, hiking trails, Segway tours, kayak rentals, automobile friendly beaches, pedestrian traffic beaches, beachside pavilions and much more!

This property is located in a very quiet neighborhood with neighbors close by.

Surveillance cameras are present around the entire exterior of the property located at all corners, pointing to the outside of the entire home including the dock and pool deck area for safety purposes.

The porch furniture was mildewed (happens rapidly in Florida humidity) but I have no doubt that will be remedies by the time we come back - which we will, for sure!!"

- "We were a big family group of 11 with 2 kids and the house was perfect for us, lots of games for kids of all ages, plenty of sitting room in different areas to have some privacy. The best of all was the fantastic dock on the river with sundowns, boats, dolphins. Not for swimming. There were some issues with shower drains, perhaps due to the fact that Hurrican Milton had just passed through. Lots of nice welcome amenities, plenty of coffee and teas, salt and pepper etc. Host Amy did everything to make sure we had everything we needed. Fishing is allowed on the bulkhead and off of dock. Bring your own poles and fishing gear.

Laundry: washer/dryer unit and iron/ironing board, steamer, lint rollers, and hangers are in the master closet. Washer pods are in unit.

The Lodge on this private island is a beautiful, single-story structure nestled amongst a grove of stately water oak trees. Little Pink Cottage welcomes you to Fanning Island overlooking the St Johns River from your private deck~Cozy studio, brand new, comfy Queen bed, table for 2 or enjoy morning coffee or evening drink on the deck and enjoy the amazing, ever changing views of our wonderful river. Dolphins, pelicans, egrets can often be found playing, frolicking and fishing around the dock. Fishing poles are available for you & bait shops are near by. Come rest, relax & rejuvenate in our little paradise by the sea.

The space
Located on Fanning Island is our Private Little Pink Cottage ~ a tiny house cottage with spacious deck overlooking the St Johns River. Watch dolphins swim and play from the cottage deck or from the dock on the river. BBQ grill is provided in case you bring your fishing pole and want to grill your catch! Kitchen has sink, cabinet, small fridge, microwave, coffee pot, toaster oven & a small table for 2. Brand new Comfy queen sized bed.
Please do not disturb neighbours or those living in residence on the property. Internet/wifi included. Smart tv will accept your streaming services ~ bring your log in info. Tho' views and river activity will likely keep you outside away from tv! Watch the huge ships come and go as we are 1 mile in from the Atlantic Ocean near the mouth of the river. Kayaking is just a few minutes down the road just past the ferry. Short drive along the ocean through several state parks with beach access to Amelia Island featuring historic Fernandina Beach ~ great restaurants, entertainment, pirates! A bit longer drive south takes you to historic St Augustine ~ America's first official town. Tons of cool stuff to see and do.

Sunrises and Sunsets are usually pretty spectacular ~ bring your camera! You may see dolphins frolicking in the river, too! LOCATION! Absolutely the best views. Brand new 2020 camper with a slide out. Really nice!!! Peaceful mind, protected, private beach front views. Watching river with dolphins, ships, yachts, Navy, Coast Guard, Marine Patrol, Fire Dept, Police Dept. Always trials being done and cool to watch. River gives peace of mind. Smell the salty Ocean air.

2020 Slide out camper,Turtle Time has a private sitting and grilling area private to guest. Boat ramp is open to share to enter beach or launch kayak, never block ramp to launch Owner boat . Dock shared. Sit back and enjoy the dock, great fishing, amazing views, huge ships, yachts, sailboats, shrimp boats,dolphins, manatees, pelicans and so much more. Very Peaceful. Cannot dock your boat. Trailered boats extra, possibly can park in front yard upon approval, if space available.

Other things to note
Very comfy queen size bed. Plenty of pillows and blankets.
Couch easily pulls out to a full bed along with bunk beds.
Water shoes or closed toed shoes highly recommended. Our place is shabby chic. Not fancy, rugged terrain. Clean with million dollar views. Peaceful, safe and Private. Great place to unwind, slow down, read, chill or stay busy exploring the Islands and beaches, creeks and rivers. Camper on high elevated property on river because all ground from dredging the ocean many years ago so you must watch where you step. Glass pops up, metals etc. Hoping to find gold from pirates one day. Everyday I keep eyes open for a arrowhead. Everyday I find a shark tooth. Really cool.
Expect bugs etc. doesn't mean not clean. Possible encounters gnats, mosquitos, large carpenter ants, palmetto bugs, snakes or even a river rat. Your in Preserves surrounded by protected land. Away from the city. Our pet hens are friendly sweet girls that leave deposits, watch step. :)

The Guest house is a large room with two king size beds and a double air bed, 1 bathroom, kitchenette with microwave, air fryer and fridge, dining table & bar stools, 65” TV and Alexa. Walking distance to Huguenot memorial park (1.0mi), ferry and a couple restaurants - Sandollar seafood (0.6mi).

Guest have access to the main house water front pool and dock from 6am to 10PM.

Beautiful, spacious home in the North Florida Keys situated between the St. John's River and Clapboard Creek close proximity to many amazing beaches. Located 1/4 mile from the Palms Fish Camp, boat ramps and Clapboard Creek Marina where boats can be rented. Chowder Ted's and Brown's Creek Fish Camp are within a 1/2 mile. Huguenot Park, St. John's River Ferry, and Little Talbot Island State Park are also nearby. This is a nature paradise with fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding & biking trails.

FIREPLACE: Casa Mar provides winter comfort with a fireplace beneath TV with electric controlled log heater to make your winter days warm!

KITCHEN: Fully equipped with all your cooking needs. We provide an espresso machine by Sur La Table that fits Nespresso style capsules, Glass stove top & oven, microwave, silver ware, glassware, cooking & cutlery utensils, pots/pans, bake ware, fridge/ freezer with built in water dispenser/ice maker and dishwasher. (We may provide Complimentary Espresso & Decaf capsules, Dish sponge, dish soap & dishwasher pods based on availability).

Casa Mar believes in comfort first and due to many skin sensitivities and allergies. We recommend to bring personal washcloths, shampoo/conditioner, bath soaps and any other item you may need for bathing as it is not available during the stay.

Beaches and water are everywhere- we’re on Andrew’s Island after all! A convenient drive to JAX Stadium, downtown, beaches and minutes to Amelia and Fernandina.
We live in a fishers/boaters paradise AND a dolphin sanctuary! Huguenot Beach, Fort George and Big and Lil Talbot Island. From our Andrews Island, you are about 10 minutes to stunning coastal areas! Indulge peace in nature with calming coastal waterfront views and nature all around🐬When you walk in the door you’ll be greeted with a gorgeous view of the water, massive back deck, hammocks, fire pit area, yard and short dock with amenities. Inside to your left is “Cozy Captain’s Quarters (king)” a fully separate cozy in-law type suite with large soaker tub/ shower and a separate exit door to dock and parking. Bed and bath offers wider access. Foyer provides a 1/2 bath and large stairs to Master suite and full bath, beverage cooler/coffee station, desk area w printer and loft with twin/extra mattress for older kid/adult use.

Upstairs is Fireplace, a Smart TV, large U shaped couch and gorgeous views overlooking the water and dock, work desk, loft beverage cooler and full bath, shared with the master suite. Enjoy deck with loungers.

Back down first floor foyer, you enter luxury kitchen, dining and coffee/tea bar. Second Family room/game room off dining and down the hall is three themed bedrooms and another full bath. Additional storage and linens in that hallway. Two queen bedrooms and a twin trundle with extra mattress awaits your group. With 3000sf of well laid out spaces (6 sleeping areas/4 baths), your group will enjoy privacy as well as fun gathering areas. The kitchen and baths have been remodeled.
