The space
This Adirondack property received a total high end renovation in the summer of 2023! Dark walnut hardwood floors, and beautiful knotty pine ceilings, accented tastefully with reclaimed hardwood beams in both the living room, bathroom, and sleeping loft.
That same high end flooring continues throughout the living room and kitchen, where an Amish built adirondack high top table sits tastefully next to beautiful white cabinetry that was finished off with butcher block countertops. This brand new kitchen is equipped with stainless steel appliances including a mini fridge, top of the line sink/fixtures, microwave, and 4 burner electric cooktop. Add ons for the kitchen include a Keurig machine for your morning coffee (K-Cups included), as well as a toaster oven.
Additional indoor space includes a cozy living room that is outfitted with a new large sectional sofa, 55 inch smart tv, and showcases numerous pieces of Adirondack decor throughout. The Cozy Haven’s interior space was outfitted elegantly with a brand new bathroom this year as well . The cabin's restroom showcases both a white tile floor and shower, knotty pine ceiling and walls, and high end fixtures.

As you head outside, you will find a stone fire pit, and 4 chairs ready for you and your family to sit, talk, and make marshmallows in your fully private yard. Your entirely fenced in yard, which is roughly 1600 square feet of outdoor living space, is a perfect area for your children and/or dog to play, as you cook dinner on our propane grill or have a few adult beverages and play one of our included board games or card games.

When it's time for bed, head on into the bedroom and you will find a comfortable king size adirondack bed, covered by an adirondack tongue and groove ceiling, and turn on our 42 inch smart tv to relax and close out your evening.

Newly renovated lake house on beautiful and scenic Lake Mayfield. Relax and enjoy the beautiful lakefront property with over 100 feet of lake frontage right outside the home.

Lake Mayfield is the small lake to the south and connected to Great Sacandaga Lake. No motorboats are allowed, perfect for swimming, kayaking and fishing. The home is central to restaurants, breweries and many outdoor activities.

Every room in the house was renovated, providing a fresh, bright, and clean experience.
The space
The newly renovated house is a 3-bedroom, 2 full bathroom home. The floor plan is open, with lake views, so it’s a great area to gather and relax. The bonus enclosed side porch has windows on every wall, ideal for when you do not feel like being outdoors but want to feel like you are.

The home is centrally located near restaurants, breweries, grocery stores, and many outdoor activities including hiking and golf. While Lake Mayfield does not allow motorboats, there are boat launches on Great Sacandaga Lake nearby if you did want to tow a motorboat. Saratoga is also a quick half hour away for day trips and races. Please see our guidebook for our extensive list of suggestions and activities near the house!

HOME DETAILS:

The Backyard – the home has over 100 feet of lake frontage! No road to cross, just walk outside and enjoy your morning coffee or evening glass of wine. There is an attached deck to the house, where you’ll find a picnic table and gravity chairs to relax. There is both a gas bbq and a charcoal bbq for your cooking pleasure. On the lawn you’ll find another picnic table, as well as 6 Adirondack chairs around a firepit for your enjoyment. There is a small dock in the lake. Two kayaks (double and single), two rowboats (plastic and metal) and a paddleboat, as well as fishing poles are provided. We’ve had a lot of luck both fishing off the dock, as well as drag fishing off the paddleboat!

Living Area/Kitchen – the home has an open floor plan, perfect for hanging out and enjoying the beautiful lake view. The kitchen is equipped with stainless steel appliances and has everything needed to cook a meal. The center island has 4 barstools around it, and there is a small dining table as well. The living room has a leather sectional couch and two chairs, as well as a gas fireplace. Here you will also find a 55-inch smart television.

Side Porch – the home also has a large, enclosed side porch with windows on all walls giving beautiful lake views. Here you’ll find another dining table for when you want to relax indoors but feel like you are outside.

Primary Bedroom – the primary bedroom has lake views, a king size bed and attached bathroom. Here you will so find a desk if you need a dedicated workspace, as well as a smart television.

Second Bedroom – this room has a queen size bed, lake views and a smart television.

Third Bedroom – here you will find full full-size bunk beds.
(All bedrooms have storage for your clothing including dressers, closets/hangers.)

Primary Bathroom – walk in shower, double vanity, and washer/dryer.

Second Bathroom – bathtub, and single vanity.

Water - The property’s water is supplied by a drilled well approximately 180 feet down. The home is equipped with multiple filtration systems to have the best possible water at all times. All water coming out of the taps has been double filtered by both an ultraviolet filter as well as an Impression Series® Air Sulfur & Air Iron Filtration system. For the drinking water faucets near the sink and from the refrigerator, a 3rd high-end Seagull IV water purification filter is in place

Family Items – the home includes family friendly items including, a Pack ‘n Play, booster seat, children’s bathmat and plastic dishes/cups/silverware. Please note that while the home is child-friendly, it is NOT child-proofed.

Accessibility – the home is a single-story home, with ramp leading up the main entrance. The only stairs you will find are in the backyard.

Cleaning Procedures – we hire professionals that perform a deep clean between all guests. All surfaces will be fully sanitized.

Guests will have access to the entire home and backyard property. You will gain entry via a smart lock, and the code will be sent prior to your arrival.

• Carpets & 2nd Floor: Kindly remove your shoes when walking on any carpeted areas, and on the 2nd floor. If there are any stains on any carpets or upholsteries that our cleaning crew will need to remove, there will be an additional fee per contract.

• Guests: Only the agreed amount # of guests is allowed per agreement. If there are any other guests, please reach out to our management team.

• NO FOOD or DRINK on 2nd Floor.

• Artwork & Décor: We take great pride in our house! Kindly refrain from removing or handling any of our artwork or décor. You are responsible if something is broken, damaged, or missing.

• ALL DOORS MUST be LOCKED at ALL TIMES when on the premises, and when leaving the premises for your safety, and for the safety of our property.

• Towels & Linens: Included in your cleaning fee is the washing of 1 towel per person, and 1 set of linens per bed. Anything extra towels or linens that you used, must be washed, folded and put away. There will be an EXTRA FEE imposed per agreement if there is extra washing involved.

• Garbage: You are responsible for removing all garbage from the house upon departure. Garbage cans are located at the back of the mansion by the garage doors. This can be accessed through the side porch adjacent to the kitchen. If staying through a Sunday date, the Exterior Garbage Can must be brought to the curb of the driveway (where the garage cans are).

• Refrigerator: Must be emptied of all perishables upon departure.

• Lost & Found: Per agreement, we are not responsible for the theft or loss of any of your personal items. If you leave something behind after departure that has been found, and need it shipped to you, you are responsible for the shipping fee(s) and insurance.

*POOL VACUUM: if removing pool vacuum from the pool, be sure to PUT IT BACK into the pool by 11:00 PM as it is set to automatically run it's cycles (failure to do so will ruin the machine, and the pool will not maintain its cleanliness).

*Feel FREE to REFILL the pool with the garden hose if you feel it necessary.

Very conveniently located with laundromat, grocery store and restaurants all within walking distance. This is a small 1 bedroom apartment with a sofa that folds out creating space for 2 more adults to sleep. This is a one bedroom apartment on the second floor of my home. It includes a full kitchen, full bathroom, bedroom with queen size bed and large closet and large living room. It is fully furnished and air conditioned. The windows are large providing lots of light and fresh air since they face both the east and west sides of the house.
The apartment is in a Victorian house built in 1892 which I have been carefully restoring for several years. I live on the ground floor.

This is a large Queen Anne Victorian home about one block from downtown Gloversville, NY. It is on a large city lot with a substantial garden and garage in the rear. Private parking in front of the garage is available. In spite of its proximity to downtown the neighborhood is quiet. Guests have access to large porches both front and back. The apartment lis on the second floor and is very private with exits to both front and rear.

The space
This Adirondack property received a total high end renovation in the summer of 2023! Dark walnut hardwood floors, and beautiful knotty pine ceilings, accented tastefully with reclaimed hardwood beams in both the living room, bathroom, and sleeping loft.
That same high end flooring continues throughout the living room and kitchen, where an Amish built adirondack high top table sits tastefully next to beautiful white cabinetry that was finished off with butcher block countertops. This brand new kitchen is equipped with stainless steel appliances including a mini fridge, top of the line sink/fixtures, microwave, and 4 burner electric cooktop. Add ons for the kitchen include a Keurig machine for your morning coffee (K-Cups included), as well as a toaster oven.
Additional indoor space includes a cozy living room that is outfitted with a new large sectional sofa, 55 inch smart tv, and showcases numerous pieces of Adirondack decor throughout. The Cozy Haven’s interior space was outfitted elegantly with a brand new bathroom this year as well . The cabin's restroom showcases both a white tile floor and shower, knotty pine ceiling and walls, and high end fixtures.
As you head outside, you will find a stone fire pit, and 4 chairs ready for you and your family to sit, talk, and make marshmallows in your fully private yard. Your entirely fenced in yard, which is roughly 1600 square feet of outdoor living space, is a perfect area for your children and/or dog to play, as you cook dinner on our propane grill or have a few adult beverages and play one of our included board games or card games.

When it's time for bed, head on into the bedroom and you will find a comfortable king size adirondack bed, covered by an adirondack tongue and groove ceiling, and turn on our 42 inch smart tv to relax and close out your evening.
In addition to that bedroom, as you walk through the cabin you will also find a contemporary ladder leading to a cozy sleeping loft on the second level. This sleeping loft is equipped with a comfy queen size bed that is easily accessible for both children and adults.
The water on the property does come from a well that is tested weekly. It is safe to drink from , however we do provide drinking water just in case you’re not comfortable with doing so! Updates: Upgraded water filtration system to eliminate hard water , as well as tankless hot water system!

Brand new couches and chairs have been added as well!

This is a true Adirondack camp- rustic, quaint, quirky. This cabin is just about a 5 minute walk to the beach access-you can also drive (under 2 minutes). At the beach there is also a basketball court. There are two main bedrooms and two shared spaces for kids. The primary is a queen, the secondary is a full. The two kids rooms are walk through, one has a bunk and a twin and the other is a flex with a futon. The flex room also has a smart tv and a whole house ac. There is also a smart tv downstairs in the main living room. The downstairs has an eat in kitchen that is equipped with all the comforts of home-coffee maker, air fryer and toaster included. There is no dishwasher (again quaint camp) but there is hot water to wash them! The basics have been provided (pots/pans/baking dish/utensils/air fryer/toaster/coffee maker/spices/cooking oil/grill utensils). Guests will want to bring water to drink and cook with. To keep it clean and safe from unwanted guests (insects/animals) no food is left on premise.

You have access to the whole house, parking is on the side of the house to the right between the patio and the trees. There is also access to an association beach. You must use the bracelets provided. A loss of a bracelet is a $25 fee. Bring water for cooking and drinking, this ADK cabin has water but our well has some sulfur in it so bringing your own drinking water is advised.

Cozy 4 bedroom apt located in the land of 44 lakes. This town located at the base of the Adirondack Mountains, boasts a short commute to many wonderful things to do and see. Such as Great Sacandaga Lake, Saratoga Race Track, Six Flags Great Escape, hiking and rock climbing, amazing views of nature, incredible fishing, hunting and boating and many other wonderful things to do here during the summer. The winter offers, snow shoeing, skiing, and snowmobiling trails with in minutes of your stay.

You will enter with a code emailed to you within 2 nights of your stay. You enter into the open plan living room / Kitchen. We offer many amenities as if you were staying at a hotel, but with the comforts of home.

You are welcome to use any of the rooms, there is 1.5 bathrooms so no one has to wait except for the shower. There is the study to read or just relax. There are games and books in there for you to use.

The most private lakefront rental in Caroga! Our cozy 2BR cottage is an Adirondack classic, nestled among tall pine trees on a peninsula with lake views from every window. Enjoy your morning coffee on the back patio overlooking a wildlife cove and your afternoon cocktail on the front dock while the sun glistens off the lake. Kayaks and Canoe provided. The space
The cottage has been recently renovated with a focus on keeping its original charm and character. There are two large bedrooms: A King BR and the second with both a Bunk Bed (Full Bottom, Twin Top) and another Full sized bed. There is a single bathroom with a standup shower, a small but efficient kitchen, and an open living/dining area with a Gas Fireplace. The living room TV is equipped with a Roku and streaming apps with high-speed WiFi, and a DVD player with 60+ classic movies for that rainy day.

The Cottage is surrounded by water and has multiple outdoor areas to enjoy including a front deck/dock, back patio, lower rear deck, and side patio off of the kitchen with a dining set and gas grill.

Guests have the cottage to themselves. Unlike most homes on the lake, our cottage is separated from the neighboring houses with plenty of privacy.

Other things to note
Swimming directly from the dock is possible but not ideal due to the shallow water and vegetation that grows. We include a variety of other options for those who'd like to swim in our guidebook.

Located on a private dead end road with lake views only 100 yard flat, level walk directly to the lake. Make memories in the beautiful single level home with three bedrooms and two full bathrooms. There is an open floor plan for you to spend quality time with family and friends. Enjoy lake views from inside the living area while you sit around the wood burning fireplace. Washer and dryer on main floor, outdoor fire pit and picnic table in backyard with plenty of space to play. Bedrooms feature window AC units, new memory foam mattress in each bedroom (Tuft and Needle), Keurig coffee maker to enjoy sunrise from the front deck. The front deck, which overlooks the lake, has a very convenient, motorized, retractable awning for additional shade during those sunny days or to enjoy the outdoors during inclement weather.

Guest access
Guests have access to the entire house with the exception of the basement. You will also be able to park in the two car attached garage. You have access to back yard picnic table to enjoy outdoor family dinner together and outdoor fire pit to roast marshmallows and stargaze. We have add an additional lake side picnic table which sits conveniently close to the waters edge and new private dock. Enjoy everything the lake has to offer!

Other things to note
Birdy By The Lake is a year round home. Fall foliage is absolutely breathtaking. Winter months add fun with snowshoeing, ice fishing, snow mobiling, and cross country skiing. Warm up inside next to the wood burning fireplace. For lake access please be respectful of our lovely neighbors. Our lake access is directly across the street to the left side of the rocks and 10 feet to the left of the aluminum dock. Please be mindful that the dock is not ours to use. Our 10 ft of private lakefront is to the left of it. You can swim, launch kayaks, paddle boards, floats etc. It's also a great spot for a picnic lunch!

We have a fully stocked kitchen for you or if you like to eat out there are many mom and pop options right in town. Their also some beautiful lakeside restaurants. Take a look at our visitors guide which details some of our favorite places to visit!

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful rustic place to stay. This is a beautiful 4 bedroom 3 bath house with 2 kitchens and a bar!
The upstairs has a master bedroom with private his and hers along with 2 other bedrooms upstairs, another bathroom, living room, kitchen, and dining room with attached den/seating area. Downstairs is another bedroom with a queen sized bed and a futon, kitchen, bathroom, and bar that seats 9!
Down at the water we have a dock for all your water activities.

The space
As you walk through the front door you will be welcomed by a rustic modern foyer.
The upstairs living room has a couch and 2 large chairs with footrests. The full kitchen upstairs has all high-profile appliances and all cooking utensils for all your cooking needs. The dining room has a beautiful wood table that seats 6 along with another high-top dining table that seats 6 more and a kitchen island that can seat another 2. Total kitchen seating upstairs is 14. Total kitchen/bar seating downstairs is 9.

The Master bedroom is on the first floor with its own private bathroom with his and her sink. There are 2 more bedrooms on this first floor. One with a full-sized crib and one without. The bathroom is across the hall from both of these bedrooms, and the washer and dryer are also in that bathroom.

As we make our way downstairs you will walk into the downstairs full kitchen with a separate custom bar that seats 9! It's the ultimate party experience! There is even a foosball table for more fun!
The living room is also in this large open space with an L-shaped couch and chair. Behind the living room is the last bedroom. This bedroom has a futon as well.
The downstairs bathroom is located next to the patio door and behind the bar for easy convenient access.

After walking out of the downstairs sliding glass doors you will be on the patio deck with a table that seats 6 and a Blackstone grill. There is another patio set upstairs on the deck as well that seats 4.

The fire pit is to the far right of the downstairs deck closest to the wood line.

Now to the water!! Making your way down to the water you will see our dock which is approximately 85ft long and 6ft wide with an 8x10 swim platform at the very end. This dock can hold no more than 2 pontoon boats and 2 small water crafts (jet-skis).
*****Depending on the water levels and the time of year, the space may be limited depending on the dock and water. Lake/Dock usage CAN NOT be guaranteed during your stay as it's dependent on water levels. This is a man-made lake and water levels fluctuate depending on the weather*****

One of our favorite places to eat is just a short 5-minute boat ride across the bay to Lakeside Tavern. They have live music, outdoor seating/bar area, and fantastic food!!

We are about 30 mins from the Saratoga Race Track!!!
