- "We stayed at this home for a few days while visiting family in Umatilla. There were 2 adults, 4 teens, and a 5 year old in our group. There was so much space and plenty of room for everyone. We never felt cramped or on top of each other. The teens loved the downstairs game room. The living room had a nice TV for watching movies. The views from the balcony of the lake were absolutely beautiful. We had everything we needed while we were there. I had a couple of questions about things and they were answered very promptly. This mansion was designed as two completely private and independent homes. The guest home (built into the hill!) is more than 4600 sq ft inside. Ms. Myra lives in her home on the upper floors of the building and may or may not be at the property during your stay. In any case, there is no overlap between these two homes and you will have complete privacy, including sound!

The huge screened porch area with the lounge sofas and grill was a highlight. The pool is also enclosed which is a huge plus. We didn’t get to fish but the lake was beautiful and there is nothing like seeing water and trees in the morning. The inside feels very luxurious but also comfortable with tons of space to spread out, and it was extremely clean despite all of the space and rooms. Took less than 15 mins to Mt Dura which is a great weekend getaway any day of the week. Love love love it!"

My only suggestion would be to have a few plastic cups so you don't have to have glass by the pool. The Lake House has a Cozy coastal vibe. It’s on a quiet spring-fed Lake in Umatilla Florida. This charming home is newly built and fully furnished with up-to-date amenities and utilities. With 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms, our comfortable home has room for the whole family! The Primary and Secondary bedrooms both have views overlooking the Lake with doors in each room for private entrance/exit onto the back patio. Our large furnished patio is complete with a pergola, fire pit, gas grill, and large outdoor shower with hot and cold water. The home sits on a large rolling backyard which ends at a private sandy beach and a small private dock. Two canoes and a kayak are all available for use. Relax and unwind on the lounge chairs and admire the beautiful sunrises and sunsets (which are both visible from the property's backyard) over the lake. Two fire pits for when outdoor activities and group fun continue into evenings gathered by the warm light of the fire. The property is a short bike ride to the quaint Town of Umatilla with a coffee shop, an ice cream parlor with homemade ice cream, a delicious Mexican restaurant. It's a 10-minute drive to Eustis and a 15-minute drive to the Vibrant downtown Mount Dora. Restaurants w cuisine from all over the world ! Both have amazing unique shopping and festivals all year long.We are a 15 min drive to Ocala National Forest and many of the area's most beautiful natural springs. Florida's famous East Coast beaches, New Smyrna and Daytona are 1hr and 15 drive. North Lake Community is 10 mins and The Big House athletic complex is just 25 minutes away - We are also just an hour's drive to the Disney Parks, Universal Studios, and Sea World -the house is located close enough to drive to all these places but also just far enough out of town to slow down and have a restful and recharging day. The house sits at the end of the street which ends in a culdesac, It is a very quiet and peaceful neighborhood with very little traffic - a public boat ramp and a larger dock just a quarter of a mile away from the property. We live full time in the "other" side of the house. Your side of the house is a pet free zone but we do share the laundry when the space is not rented. So please be advised if you are "really" allergic to cats, this shared laundry facility might not suit you.

Ocala has a beautiful, exciting Zip Lining experience. Also, a Drive-In Theater Downtown Eustis it's also a must visit but that's just to mention a few. Definitely a different setting Scenery than the big cities. Lots of beautiful landscaping and scenic scenery. Cows, goats, all kinds of farm animals on your way here. Festivities in all these different towns with lots of homegrown veggies/ farmers markets. Just Beautiful not only because it's our place but the peace you feel away from the normal hectic city and very few neighbors. It's PRICELESS!!! Gives writers, singers, artists and regular people time to think and create.

Like hiking, fishing, or adventuring in the springs? This RV is the perfect getaway for 1-2 people who want to reconnect with nature. Pristine fully stocked kitchen, comfy bed, and a cute seating area with large picture windows so you can see the gorgeous surroundings. The dinette converts into a second bed, as well. Light up the tiki torches outside and enjoy a night with a fire under the stars. Enjoy the pool, clubhouse, community kitchen, and full bath house, all right at your doorstep!

The suite offers a private entrance, and just outside you'll find a firepit, patio furniture, and outdoor lighting. Feel free to move the indoor furniture outside to enjoy the fresh air, make s'mores, fish, or practice your golf swing in the pond. Our property is home to an array of wildlife, including lizards, diverse bird species, alligators, and possibly even scorpions or bears.

For outdoor enthusiasts, the nearby Ocala National Forest offers scenic hikes and swimming at Alexander Springs. Take advantage of the beautiful Florida environment and explore all it has to offer.

Our pond is stocked with large bass and fishing rods are available for use. Please be cautious of alligators. A kayak is provided for your enjoyment. If golf is your passion, we are conveniently located near several beautiful golf courses.

The queen-sized bed features a "Luxuria Vintage Cushion Firm Mattress," a medium firmness that accommodates all sleeping styles. The mattress consists of one layer of super soft resilient quilt foam, one layer of high-density ultra-firm quilt foam, and one layer of cooling gel-infused memory foam. The bed offers a perfect balance of softness and support.

The bed is outfitted with two firm and two soft pillows, but feel free to bring your own. Extra blankets, linens, and towels are provided, as well as additional toiletries in case you forget anything.

Check-in time is between 2pm-4pm, but message me for potential earlier arrangements. Check-out time is 10am.

Our cozy cabin is a 1 bedroom 1 bathroom cabin w/ a full kitchen, located at a Resort Ranch Campground. It has a dining area w/ a table and a comfy seating area with a couch and coffee table. Fully stocked, no need to bring your own kitchen items, sheets or anything like that. Enjoy your porch with comfy seating for morning coffee, lunch or a nice BBQ dinner. Mirror Lakeside Retreat is a peaceful and quiet place for your next getaway. We offer a comfortable 2 bedroom, 1 bath home on a spring fed lake in central Florida. We are only an hour’s drive to Orlando theme parks and Daytona Beach for Bike Week.
We have a single car garage so motorcyclists to safely park your bikes. Leesburg Bike Fest is held yearly about 20 minutes away. We are 15 minutes to the quaint town of Mount Dora which hosts many events each year, as well as Renniger’s Antique Center. Nearby are Equestrian activities and Alexander Springs. Silver Springs is 1 hour away in Ocala.
All amenities like Publix, Walgreens, etc. are just a few miles up the road which leads to Eustis.
We offer a canoe for your use during your stay. Bring your fishing pole; there are some nice bass in this lake. Remember it is Florida and we do have alligators and snakes in every lake.
There are also two bicycles in the garage that are available for use. (Use all at your own risk).
We have a nice sized covered patio for dining or just enjoying the view.
There is a mile loop around the neighborhood that is great for a morning or evening stroll.
There is also a wonderful county park with great playground equipment just a few minutes away. Across the street from the park is a farmer’s market on Saturday plus a store with great ice cream.
Owners live in the same area so we can quickly meet any needs you might have.

Rustic Enchanted Forest is a quiet and unique spacious 4 bedroom home with lake/pool. It has a game room, 2 kitchens for those who love to cook, Master bedroom with hot tub over looking the lake. Looking to relax from the busy world we live in, this just might be your hideaway and serenity you are looking for. This home is NOT a glam home. The space
First floor has one master bedroom with master bathroom that has hot tub, then you have a living room, dinning, laundry room, kitchen, half bathroom, and a wrap around deck with a beautiful lake view. The second floor has 2 bedrooms, one with balcony and queen bed. Second bedroom has 2 full size beds. There is also a full bathroom and sitting loft area. It also has another extra room with sofa, we might add a movie room.
Basement has another bedroom with queen bed and a private living room area with sofa. There is a game room. Another full bathroom, and kitchen with door that leads to screen pool. The pool is crystal clear but does have cobalt on the lining of pool which are black spots (not dangerous just looks like there is particle on pool). The water quality is good. Pool person checks ever week to make sure chemicals are perfect. You can go into pool as water quality is where it needs to be. We pay high end to make sure pool is good to go. This also leads to the lake being your backyard. Which also has a fire pit.

Other things to note
You enter home through main floor but has a downstair and upstairs, main floor has bedroom with its own bathroom and walk in closet, main kitchen, living room, dining room There is 3 floors to this home but everything you will need is on the main floor.
Pool has some cobalts, meaning stains on the fiber glass. The water is clean and there is no need to worry, unless we have a storm as this is out of our control but do send pool guy once a week on Wednesday to make sure water quality is safe and good to go.

Things to do in this Umatilla are a few Springs like Alexander Springs, there are boat rides near by, hiking and trailing. It is near Mt. Dora and Eutis. Shopping area are about 20 minutes away. If you want more ideas, just ask your host they will gladly help you with ideas and places to go as well as you can look through the online guidebook.
