- "The property is only 5 minutes walk from the waterfront at Rockingham. There are plenty of options for eating, drinking, cafes etc within 2 minutes walk. There is a bus stop directly outside the property where you can catch the bus to/from Rockingham station. The property is in a nice quiet area directly across the street from the war memorial. The property is currently undergoing refurbishment work, paint work and re carpeting but during my visit I wasn't disturbed by any work related noise. The property is in good condition and the room I was allocated was first class, spacious, very clean and very comfortable. The kitchen area was well stocked with crockery, cutlery and utensils. During my stay I used the gym which was small but reasonably well equipped and the pool which was nice. The property provides a free self service laundry service which I took advantage of and was very good. All of the staff I encountered were very friendly, courteous and helpful. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone visiting Rockingham and would stay again if I was returning to this area again in the future."

We locate very close to the airport T3/T4 (2.2km),riverside(500m) and short distance to drive (12km) to the CBD. Also walking distance to the beautiful Swan River & local parks. You will share the place with me, my husband Can and other guests in a warm sweet home, either for short or long stay.

10m away from our house, there is a nice spacious park (green most of the year)so if you like walking and nature, you will love this.

Also, an easy 5mins walk through the park will get you to the riverside, a beautiful location for picnics and barbecues or just to admire the beauty of nature.

Although we are close to the airport, noise isn't a problem due to the layout of the runways planes are not taking off and landing in the direction of our house and we are not under the flight path.

1 room is large and comes with a king bed. The second is medium sized with wardrobes that can be removed. The house comes with Wi-Fi and downstairs aircon.

The space
The house is fully self-contained and you can use all amenities in the kitchen. There are stairs which have baby gates at the bottom.

The rooms come with a king or queen size bed.

We host dogs for people so you get plenty of furry friends to play with, for you pooch, or yourself 🐾

I am a stay-at-home mum who has a small doggie daycare at the house which helps me afford to stay home with my two gorgeous girls who I home school. This means we are home throughout the day, and so are the dogs who just love people and playing. All dogs are super friendly. You would be welcome to as little or as much contact as you would like.

During your stay
I am here to engage with you as much or as little as you prefer. I work and school from home, and we have an open-plan townhouse, so we are around most of the day. We do head out most afternoons to activities.

We do love meeting people from all around the world and are very travelled ourselves. We've made many connections from around the globe so delight at meeting new faces. However, we also respect those who prefer some space.

Other things to note
Please note we are home during the day through the week as we host dogs for the day and sleepovers. We also school in the living area where dogs are playing so we do occupy the communal space. But if you want to watch tv then your room comes equipped with a tv.

My self-checkin house is a warm & inviting space with a very convenient location. Your lockable room is a bright and clean master bedroom with plenty of storage space, a desk and leather lounge. The house is only 7kms to the airport (terminals 3&4), and 13km (terminals 1&2), 5kms to the city, 23 km to Swan Valley, 3kms to the Galleria shopping centre, The house is a 5 min walk to bus and 12 min to train.

The space
The room is a large bedroom with tall 3.2m ceilings and jarrah wooden floors. The decor has been tasteful and individually decorated with unique wall papers, Iight fittings and comfortable queen size bed.
The room has a study desk and chair with plenty of storage space and a leather lounge for relaxing on.
The room has its own television with Netflix, mini fridge, microwave and kettle for making tea and coffee. Crockery and cutlery is provided

In addition to the assigned bedroom, all guests have access to the front secluded garden, front patio, lounge and bathroom.

During your stay
Access to the house uses a self check-in system. We send you a code o the day of arrival and you enter it into a keypad at the front door. Detailed instructions are provided via the airbnb messaging service. We are happy to have a conversation, help with questions about the area and provide general guidance on where to go to shop. We generally leave it up to the guests to determine the level of interaction
