We checked in around 2pm, early check-in was not available, though the agent did say there were rooms “almost ready” and that she would call us as soon as our room was ready. After no call from the front desk, and multiple checks with them, we finally got our room at 3:30pm (check in is supposed to be 3pm) - if we had not followed up, not sure when we would have got our room!! We then waited over an hour for our luggage, and it was only delivered after a follow up call. The hotel’s excuse was that they had groups checking in??? Groups arriving are generally not a surprise and the hotel should have been better prepared and not sacrificed service to other paying guests - extremely disappointing and was not a good start to our stay at all!!"

We had breakfast included in our room rate which is served in the attached restaurant down stairs. Very basic continental buffet available but we also got to choose a hot meal from the menu, thoroughly enjoyed the eggs Benedict (with choice of salmon, pancetta or bacon) and hubby loved the big breaky. Only down side was no on-site parking but there is paid parking one block away, very easy to walk, even with our luggage. Bus stop for the free city ‘red cat’ bus is only the next street over also, so very easy to get into the city or to catch a connecting bus or train to anywhere we wanted to go. - "The property is only 5 minutes walk from the waterfront at Rockingham. There are plenty of options for eating, drinking, cafes etc within 2 minutes walk. There is a bus stop directly outside the property where you can catch the bus to/from Rockingham station. The property is in a nice quiet area directly across the street from the war memorial. The property is currently undergoing refurbishment work, paint work and re carpeting but during my visit I wasn't disturbed by any work related noise. The property is in good condition and the room I was allocated was first class, spacious, very clean and very comfortable. The kitchen area was well stocked with crockery, cutlery and utensils. During my stay I used the gym which was small but reasonably well equipped and the pool which was nice. The property provides a free self service laundry service which I took advantage of and was very good. All of the staff I encountered were very friendly, courteous and helpful. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone visiting Rockingham and would stay again if I was returning to this area again in the future."

My place is just a 3 minute walk to the beach, restaurants and cafes and shopping centre are also close by. You’ll love my place because of the ambiance, the safe neighbourhood and the outdoors space. My place is perfect for solo travellers and business travellers.

The space
You have a king single bed in your private room which includes a desk with study chair. The room has a ceiling fan and plenty of storage.

Located Close to the Domestic Airport, only short drive to the Crown Casino, Ascot Racecourse, 12km to the City of Perth as well as walking distance to the beautiful Swan River & local parks. You will share the place with me, my husband Jerome and other guests in a warm sweet home, either for short or long stay.

The space
We live in a 4x2 share house occupy by host and other airbnb guests, with large living room, kitchen and dining area. 10m away from our house, there is a nice spacious park (green most of the year)so if you like walking and nature, you will love this.

Also, an easy 5mins walk through the park will get you to the riverside, Kayaking club, a beautiful location for picnics and barbeques, fishing or just to admire the beauty of nature.

Although we are close to the airport, noise isn't a problem due to the layout of the runways planes are not taking off and landing in the direction of our house and we are not under the flight path.

We are Airbnb guests ourselves, so we know how important it is to have a worry-free place to lay your head at the end of the day. We are warm, friendly people who will respect your privacy and welcome your company. Teddy, our miniature poodle, will probably win your heart but won't bother you if you're not a "dog person".
