Adventure or relaxation on your doorstep. Drift onto the beach, a short walk away, to surf, kayak, swim or paddle under the watchful eye of the coastguard(during the summer season). Walk onto the cliffs to join the coastal walks. please note there is at present scaffolding on the house next door as they were having facing stone removed. This has been the case for all the houses on the development nearly all have been done but the developers have run out of cement so the scaffolding is left. There is no disruption to my premises.

Getting around

Walking distance to Buses. Taxis, Bike Hire, Train in Truro 6 miles. Fabulous coastal walks within minutes of property.

Other things to note

I would be happy to act as concierge to recommend and book restaurants, visits for cream teas, Research Theatre productions, trips to National Trust Gardens, Eden Project, Poldark experience, surfing lessons, for a fee if booked well in advance.

We are up a private 'no-through' road so we have a very idyllic tranquil setting, the Sea and Cove being a spectacular backdrop to every view from the garden and apartments.
-the views are totally uninterrupted as there are NO properties in front of the apartment.

We have two apartment, 'Trebal' & 'Sea Edge' with modern facilities, which form part of the property dating from 1670’s property when used as part of the tin mining industry with the old harbour just below. Accommodation includes: Double and Twin bedrooms with en-suite, Lounge, Kitchen, all with uninterrupted sea views, plus Dining Room and raised BBQ terrace overlooking the Cove.

Set in 1/2 acre they have separate gardens backing onto the cliff side (yet safe for children), with seating by the cliff edge including the ‘Crows Nest’, situated half way down the rocks, a secluded seating area accessed by steps from the property.

The property is directly on the Coast Path with delightful sea walks in both directions to other beaches and Coves. We have ‘World Heritage’ status and are in an area designated 'Outstanding Natural Beauty' with SSSI (special scientific interest) status. There are no street lights so you get amazing views of the stars.

With the sandy beach of Trevaunance Cove just a few hundred yards away (patrolled by lifeguards in the main season), you can swim, body board, surf and kayak in the clear azure water. Or just lounge in the peaceful garden away from the hustle and bustle of daily life, the Sea and Cove being a backdrop to every view from the garden and apartments.
And... NO parking problems, with our Private off road Car Park.
Wildlife such as Seals are a common sight (there is a colony just round the Point) and even Dolphins can sometimes be seen. Surf hire facilities and Kayak tours are available.

There is a 17th century locals pub a few hundred metres away with a restaurant plus a further restaurant on the beach. A full range of shops are available in the village of St Agnes including 2 convenience stores, grocers, butchers, bakers, post office, gift shops etc. There are a number of very good restaurants and 5 further pubs, most serving food. There is also live music in the village.

We are a very friendly village so you can be sure of a warm welcome wherever you go and whoever you meet.

Enjoy upside-down living in the charming two-bedroom holiday home, 3 The Old School House. Set within the unspoilt, lively and coastal village of St Agnes, Cornwall; complete with allocated parking, a rarity in small Cornish villages.

Enter 3 The Old School House via a flight of stone stairs leading to the ground floor where both bedrooms are located; one with a comfortable double bed and the second has two twin single beds. The family bathroom is also situated on this level and has a shower over bath, wash basin and WC.

Upstairs is the open-plan living area providing all you need for your family holiday. The well-equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher, oven and hob and microwave; whilst the washing machine is located on the ground floor. This is a fantastic location in Cornwall, with so many amazing beaches nearby. Perranporth beach is just a short drive down the road, this is the perfect seaside town with stunning beach, surf school, lovely cafes restaurants and bars, shops and take aways.

St Agnes beach is also very close, this is a lovely beach with great cafe/ bar and surf school.

Truro is just a few miles away, this is a fantastic city centre with the big stores, plenty of restaurants and bars, and Truro Cathedral is well worth a visit.
Newquay is also very close, with its amazing surfing beaches, great restaurants bars etc.

This is a fantastic area of Cornwall, im sure you would have the most amazing stay here.
The staff here are so lovely and nothing is too much trouble. This Park is set in communal gardens with play area, ideal for children to play and relax

Newly renovated traditional cosy stone cottage overlooking the sea with beautiful views across St Agnes Head. Situated in the small hamlet of Higher Bal at the edge of St Agnes village.

There are abundant mine buildings around this area including the Wheal Coates Mine a short walk away. It is a great area for walking with beautiful views.

Close by are the sandy beaches of Trevaunance Cove and Chapel Porth complete with rock pools and caves.

The space
Fully refurbished characterful cottage has 3 bedrooms and sleeps up to 6 guests with two double beds and bunk beds in the smallest bedroom. Stunning sea views from the rear master bedroom.

Folding glazed doors from the kitchen seating area provide sea views and access to the private garden with patio. The newly installed kitchen is well equipped and includes a dishwasher and washing machine. The Lounge is has two sofas around the wood burner.

Fully equipped for families with travel cot (if required), high chair, children kitchen crockery and cutlery.

Homestead Cottage has been beautifully renovated and fitted out for a perfect Cornish break.

The cathedral city of Truro with its museum and variety of shops and cafes is 9 miles away. Tate St Ives, the Eden Project, Falmouth Maritime museum are some of the many attractions Cornwall has to offer.

We could drive into the village within about 5 minutes (mum has limited mobility), and I walked the cliff top path in about 30 mins to Trevanance cove. The kitchen is well equipped, beds comfy, shower fabulous, and the whole place is aesthetically very considered and lovely. We were lucky to have good weather and enjoyed eating out in the garden as the sun went down over the sea. Stunning. Interesting neighbours, not too friendly, both the geese and the humans, but this did not put us off! I would certainly go back given the chance. Thanks for a lovely stay!"
