Adventure or relaxation on your doorstep. Drift onto the beach, a short walk away, to surf, kayak, swim or paddle under the watchful eye of the coastguard(during the summer season). Walk onto the cliffs to join the coastal walks. An all year round holiday where you can experience nature at its best throughout the seasons the brilliant purple heather and yellow gorse along the cliffs, sight of a seal, huge storm waves as exciting as the beauty of the flat turquoise sea in the summer sun.

please note there is at present scaffolding on the house next door as they were having facing stone removed. This has been the case for all the houses on the development nearly all have been done but the developers have run out of cement so the scaffolding is left. There is no disruption to my premises.

Getting around

Walking distance to Buses. Taxis, Bike Hire, Train in Truro 6 miles. Fabulous coastal walks within minutes of property.

Other things to note

I would be happy to act as concierge to recommend and book restaurants, visits for cream teas, Research Theatre productions, trips to National Trust Gardens, Eden Project, Poldark experience, surfing lessons, for a fee if booked well in advance.

We are up a private 'no-through' road so we have a very idyllic tranquil setting, the Sea and Cove being a spectacular backdrop to every view from the garden and apartments.
-the views are totally uninterrupted as there are NO properties in front of the apartment.

We have two apartment, 'Trebal' & 'Sea Edge' with modern facilities, which form part of the property dating from 1670’s property when used as part of the tin mining industry with the old harbour just below. Accommodation includes: Double and Twin bedrooms with en-suite, Lounge, Kitchen, all with uninterrupted sea views, plus Dining Room and raised BBQ terrace overlooking the Cove.

Set in 1/2 acre they have separate gardens backing onto the cliff side (yet safe for children), with seating by the cliff edge including the ‘Crows Nest’, situated half way down the rocks, a secluded seating area accessed by steps from the property.

The property is directly on the Coast Path with delightful sea walks in both directions to other beaches and Coves. We have ‘World Heritage’ status and are in an area designated 'Outstanding Natural Beauty' with SSSI (special scientific interest) status. There are no street lights so you get amazing views of the stars.

With the sandy beach of Trevaunance Cove just a few hundred yards away (patrolled by lifeguards in the main season), you can swim, body board, surf and kayak in the clear azure water. Or just lounge in the peaceful garden away from the hustle and bustle of daily life, the Sea and Cove being a backdrop to every view from the garden and apartments.
And... NO parking problems, with our Private off road Car Park.
Wildlife such as Seals are a common sight (there is a colony just round the Point) and even Dolphins can sometimes be seen. Surf hire facilities and Kayak tours are available.

There is a 17th century locals pub a few hundred metres away with a restaurant plus a further restaurant on the beach. A full range of shops are available in the village of St Agnes including 2 convenience stores, grocers, butchers, bakers, post office, gift shops etc. There are a number of very good restaurants and 5 further pubs, most serving food. There is also live music in the village.

We are a very friendly village so you can be sure of a warm welcome wherever you go and whoever you meet.

Enjoy upside-down living in the charming two-bedroom holiday home, 3 The Old School House. Set within the unspoilt, lively and coastal village of St Agnes, Cornwall; complete with allocated parking, a rarity in small Cornish villages.

Enter 3 The Old School House via a flight of stone stairs leading to the ground floor where both bedrooms are located; one with a comfortable double bed and the second has two twin single beds. The family bathroom is also situated on this level and has a shower over bath, wash basin and WC.

Upstairs is the open-plan living area providing all you need for your family holiday. St Agnes beach is also very close, this is a lovely beach with great cafe/ bar and surf school.

Truro is just a few miles away, this is a fantastic city centre with the big stores, plenty of restaurants and bars, and Truro Cathedral is well worth a visit.
Newquay is also very close, with its amazing surfing beaches, great restaurants bars etc.

This is a fantastic area of Cornwall, im sure you would have the most amazing stay here.

Newly renovated traditional cosy stone cottage overlooking the sea with beautiful views across St Agnes Head. Situated in the small hamlet of Higher Bal at the edge of St Agnes village.

There are abundant mine buildings around this area including the Wheal Coates Mine a short walk away. It is a great area for walking with beautiful views.

Close by are the sandy beaches of Trevaunance Cove and Chapel Porth complete with rock pools and caves.

Fully refurbished characterful cottage has 3 bedrooms and sleeps up to 6 guests with two double beds and bunk beds in the smallest bedroom. Stunning sea views from the rear master bedroom.

Folding glazed doors from the kitchen seating area provide sea views and access to the private garden with patio. The newly installed kitchen is well equipped and includes a dishwasher and washing machine. The Lounge is has two sofas around the wood burner.

We could drive into the village within about 5 minutes (mum has limited mobility), and I walked the cliff top path in about 30 mins to Trevanance cove. We were lucky to have good weather and enjoyed eating out in the garden as the sun went down over the sea. Stunning. The property was absolutely immaculately clean on arrival and pretty much everything you could want was there. St Agnes is a short walk away and is a beautiful small town with some amazing bakeries plus pubs and restaurants. The location was a great base to explore the area with the amazing beaches for body boarding and paddleboarding. It was possible to walk to the beach but it was a bit of a trek with all the family gear. Had to get out early if you wanted parking anywhere! Definitely recommend, I would consider returning."

- "We had a cosy stay at Stargazy in April 2022. nice cabin with modern design and nicely appointed for a family of 5, really enjoyed the open plan kitchen / dining / living area and the views out towards Chapel Porth. We had a great holiday exploring St Agnes and the north coast nearby, Chapel Porth, Porthtowan and Perranporth as well as Trellisick and the River Fal. The cabin was cosy and quiet, we settled in straight away and appreciated loads of storage in the kitchen and bedrooms. mild weather allowed us to eat out on the deck a few times although the lovely wood burning stove made it too hot!! The only issues were very small details, no welcome hamper initially (very quickly delivered after arrival - thanks!) and several bulbs not working (some easy to change with the available spares), underfloor heating set super high (was at 23-25degrees, we turned down very low - even though it was cool outdoors inside the cabin is very warm and draught-free) door latches not working, cover on key safe broken, toilet roll holders loose, towel hooks wonky. Even though the price was fairly high, overall the cabin was great, booking was simple and the little details didn't get in the way.."

- "Great house just a short walk from St Agnes, and amazing coastal paths. It’s exactly as show in the photos, with a lovely sitting room and open kitchen, 3 bedrooms which are small but well thought out and also a really useful shed at the end of the garden for surfboards and drying wetsuits. We loved waking over to Canteen in the morning for the most amazing coffee and bacon rolls, and in the evening it’s a short walk down the hill into St Agnes. There are several pubs and our favourite was the tap house where the food was excellent. Even though we were there in Aug at probably the busiest time, we could always park at one of the car parks by the beach. There was also a fantastic housekeeper Maggie who was always on hand to help and answer any queries. We loved this place and will definitely go back."

Would stay again without any hesitation. 5*****" - "Would use again so clean and well looked after warm and cosy couldn't fault a thing" - "This was our visit to the South West for decades. It didn't disappoint. It felt Covid-safe and there was sanitiser there for our use, although we did bring our own cleaning supplies. We were out all day and loved returning to The Stables, which became our home from home. The accommodation was very clean and had everything we needed. The beds were extremely comfortable and the linen of a good quality. The wifi was good for the most part, although became patchy and rebooted randomly on a couple of evenings. Parking was spacious and secure. There was plenty of storage, including a utility room for our wet clothes and boots. The ensuite to the main bedroom was a little tight in size, but we just used both bathrooms. Once the heating got going the place was warm and stayed warm, and, although we couldn't make the bathroom underfloor heating work, it was warm enough with the heated towel rail. We were 4 adults, which was a little cosy sitting in the lounge area, but with children it would be fine. Information about our stay and access to the property was good through the key safe. We did not make use of the extra storage. We did not make use of the outside space, although for this property it was not particularly inviting (it was a brick wall). The road outside was quite busy, so we never walked down it. However, we just crossed over to follow the public footpath (signposted Beacon Hill) and followed it down to St Agnes. The location was great for exploring this part of Cornwall, from coastal walks nearby and then inland via Mithian and Goonbell (the viaduct is nice). Further afield, we visited The Lost Gardens of Heligan and Mevagissey, Gwithian, Charlestown (Poldark fame) and Eden Project. Highly recommended and worth a revisit."

- "We've just returned to Germany from our two-week stay at this location and we enjoyed our stay. The park is well-maintained and is run by a very polite and helpful management and their staff. They definitely did their very best to let all the guests feel as comfortable as possible. All in all, we can recommend this place as the site itself is wonderful and it is also a perfect base to visit all the beautiful places in central and western Cornwall such as Perranporth, Newquay, Penzance, St. Agnes, St. Ives and even Land's end (just to mention a few). Our host Jane was absolutely lovely from the very beginning, guiding us through the booking process and the check-in. Moreover, she immediately took action once we had arrived when we had an issue with animal hair in the house. This leads us to the only piece of criticism we have to voice. As dogs are permitted in the house, we did have issues with pet hair allergies. Despite Jane's immediate response to send over the cleaning lady, it apparently wasn't possible to completely remove the hair from the furniture, especially from the carpets. The upstairs rooms were not affected by that, we weren't able to use the living room area, though. Although this was an issue for us, we can still recommend this place to spend a wonderful holiday at. If you have younger children, the playground is just opposite the house so they can play there and you can supervise them from up close."

A cosy detached cabin in the heart of beautiful St Agnes.
Guests have their own entrance to a spacious bedroom with king size bed and large en-suite shower room. The space is beautifully decorated with original paintings by St Agnes artist Andrea Thomas and comes equipped with a fridge, TV, sitting area and tea/coffee making facilities.
It is located in a quiet corner of St Agnes but 5 mins walk to various pubs/cafes and 15 mins walk to stunning Trevaunance Cove and the Coast Path.

St Agnes is a UNESCO world heritage area and the history and beautiful sandy surfing beach makes the village of St Agnes a popular destination and base to explore Cornwall. There is plenty to explore in the local area, from surfing beaches to welcoming hostelries, stunning views, friendly café's and shops, wildlife and birds.

Take it easy at this cosy getaway in a quiet close, close to the sandy surfing beach of Trevaunance Cove and St Agnes, with it's bustling village life and pubs. The Lookout is pretty basic and retro but it’s also relaxing, clean and very comfortable!

This is the perfect place to relax with an incredible panoramic sea view. The Lookout is right on the cliffs for you to enjoy walking our wild and rugged coastline.

It is ideal for coast path walkers or those looking for a few nights away somewhere quiet surrounded by nature- guests have spotted rabbits, deer and foxes!

The view from the lounge is incredible and we hope that you find it really special.

The space
INTERNALLY -
You enter the Lookout into a large living/ dining area with a comfy sofa and a double sofa bed. There is also a dining table that seats 4. The views from here are stunning from the 4 large windows.

The bedroom is cosy with a double bed and clothes storage with drawers and hanging space.

In the kitchen there are basic cooking facilities - a small table top oven, 2 hobs, a kettle, microwave and toaster. There is a tall fridge/freezer.
There is also a washing machine, tumble dryer and washing line.

There is limited technology in the property with no wifi and a small TV which works just for DVDs. We have provided a fairly wide selection of DVDs so hopefully you’ll find something you like.
Most mobile networks work well here. Enjoy the digital detox!

EXTERNALLY-
The Lookout is in a field in front of another property so it is important that guests are respectful in terms of noise.

The terrain surrounding the Lookout is bumpy, and is popular with rabbits so there are lots of holes. If you are outside at night, take a torch and be careful!

You can park on a concrete area at the entrance to the field, or you are welcome to drive to the door of the Lookout if the weather is dry and you aren't worried about driving off road. Just mind the rabbit holes.

There is a patio area at the front of the Lookout with outdoor seating.

Check in is after 4pm unless otherwise discussed. Check out by 10am please to allow for cleaning for next guests.

On entering the Annex there is a long corridor with a place to hang your coats and a matt to place your boots and shoes. If you have Bicycles they can also be stored here.
Inside the bedroom is a comfortable double bed, chest of draws, a long mirror with hangers on the back, table and chairs for eating, WFI, TV, and central heating.
The Bathroom has a large walk in shower, mirror with a shaving point, cupboard, electric towel rail and central heating.
The kitchen is a well equipped with kettle, toaster, microwave, fridge, sandwich toaster, George Foreman grill, small induction hob with sauce Pan, Nescafé Dolce Gusto machine and a sink. Cereals, milk, yogurt, tea, coffee sugar, honey are provided.

The house, originally built in the 1700s and added on to over the years is double fronted, and is in an ideal position for setting out through village then off onto the coastal paths or down to the beach. Good selection of pubs & restaurants all walking distance from our house.

Double bedroom, private bathroom adjacent to bedroom with loo, basin, bath & shower- on first floor separate landing. Downstairs sitting room, cloakroom with loo & basin & space for shoes, coats etc. We do have another bedroom available which has a double bed but it’s a smaller room and this might be a preferable arrangement for 2 people not wanting to share the main guest room. We would make a charge of £25 for the additional bed linen and cleaning the room.

This second bedroom could also be reserved for a third guest then there would be an additional room charge + cleaning fee.

Please note that the accommodation is not self-catering therefore no access to our kitchen.

We live in the house and will be here when you arrive and then around to share information, give advice and recommend where to visit etc. There are maps, brochures and books for you to refer to and read in the sitting room.

Other things to note
St Agnes is a pretty Cornish village. If you've never visited, it is a buzzy place and has a thriving community. There's always something going on - Carnival (first Saturday in August), Bolster Day, May 1 annually reenact events of Cornish legend, parades through village and up on the cliff. Community markets, art exhibitions etc....There is so much to do and see in the area around St Agnes and the whole of Cornwall, we hope you'll really enjoy your visit.

Our lovely annexe is in Goonbell, just a 15-20 min walk (via the road or paths & fields) into the village of St Agnes, and just a 25-30 min walk from the beautiful sandy beaches and SW coastal path.

Ideal as a retreat for couples, the annexe has been recently decorated and is fully equipped as a comfortable and homely base to relax and explore from!

With a double bedroom, kitchen dining room and a lounge to relax in after a day out on the beach, it has everything you need for a relaxing break.

The space
Having moved in in September 2023, we have recently redecorated the annexe ready for you to use as a base to explore and enjoy Cornwall from this summer.

Although this annexe is new to the airbnb market with no reviews, we can ensure you we are experienced airbnb hosts having rented out a previous property for 6 years with a host rating of 4.8.

The annexe comprises of a double bedroom, bathroom, kitchen diner, living room and patio for you to enjoy the sunshine all day round.

The kitchen consists of a Cookworks mini oven, 2x hob and grill, modern fridge and large glass dining table - perfect for you to enjoy a dinner after a day out exploring or at the beach.

The bedroom consists of a very comfy double bed and double wardrobe with a large window looking out onto the leafy neighbourhood, the bathroom is next door to the bedroom and has a warm electric shower.

The living room has been redecorated since the photograph shown and has a calmer, fresher feel and consists of a comfy sofa, tv and warm lighting - a perfect place to relax in after a day out.

The double doors of the living room open out on to a sunny courtyard with outdoor seating for al fresco meals.

The annexe is attached to the left hand side of our family home (whole home shown in photo for perspective) and you have a path that leads around the back to enter through the double doors to the living room.

There is plenty of free street parking on our road, often just opposite the house, and its very safe and secure.

The cottage is located in Goonbell which is a 15-20 min walk (via road or paths & fields) into the centre of a bustling village where you have the bakery, butcher, veg shop, deli and multiple pubs and restaurants to choose from.

Guest access
Guests will have access to the annexe which has it's own entrance, and is attached to the left hand side of our family home. There is a path to the side of the house that takes you to your own entrance via the living room at the back of the property.

Our home is surrounded by a lovely leafy garden, however the annex patio is surrounded by plants providing you with privacy.

Other things to note
We do have a lovely Goldendoodle called Roxie, she is very sociable and friendly and will likely come and say hello.

We appreciate some guests will love this and some are less fond of dogs, if you're the latter just let us know and we will make sure she doesn't bother you.

Relax in style in our studio loft apartment situated within a short (5 minute) drive to some of the UK's best surfing and most beautiful beaches. Our local beach can be reached on foot in 20 mins and the village with nice restaurants and great pubs & bars is an easy 15min walk. We are 7 miles from Truro and centrally located for exploring our wonderful county.
The apartment is best suited to a couple but can also accommodate a child on the sofa bed.
Free parking is available at the property.

The space
The Studio is open plan with a corner snug area with a double bed, a lounge area with corner sofa which can be made into a bed and a kitchen. A separate shower room with WC and Washer/Dryer for your convenance.
Access is via its own private doorway from the drive and up a flight of stairs.
Parking is to the side of the property.

Guest access
The whole apartment is self contained and for you sole private use.

Other things to note
There are many great walking trails here. Dog are welcome and under the conditions set out below.
Please contact us first if you intend bringing a pet. No more than 2 small quiet dogs or 1 large quiet dog is suitable for the apartment. If your dogs are not likely to settle in quickly please don't bring them. I'm afraid we will need to ask noisy dogs to leave.

This double room with en-suite and private entrance, is suitable for couples and single guests. There is a desk which can be used as a workspace, and French doors to the garden which make the room light and airy. Outside there is a screened patio space with table and chairs, and storage for walking and wet weather gear. Our bungalow Penrose has a modern, coastal feel which reflects our love of Cornwall, and is located in a quiet residential area just 10 minutes’ walk from St Agnes village.

The space
The room has a 5’ king size bed with white Egyptian cotton bedding and white towels. There is an open wardrobe with plenty of storage, and a dressing table which can easily be used as a desk. Complementary tea and coffee are provided along with a kettle, and there is a mini fridge with fresh milk and mineral water. The en-suite shower room has a walk-in power shower with rainfall option, heated towel rail, toilet and sink unit with cupboard, and illuminated mirror above. Complementary shower gel, shampoo and conditioner is provided, and there is a small hair dryer.

Guest access
The room is accessed via its own entrance from the rear patio in our secluded garden which overlooks the nearby field. The interior door in the room is locked, and there are concertina blinds on the French doors which offer additional privacy.

During your stay
I will be available throughout your stay, and can be contacted by mobile phone or email.

Other things to note
We are a non-smoking household, and regret we cannot accept pets. We have an 18 month old Border Collie called Tilly who is friendly and curious. She does not have access to the guest suite but will be out in the shared garden at times, and may be keen to come and say “hello”! The room is therefore not suitable for people who are nervous around dogs.
