We enjoyed walking from the cottage to Watersmeet and then continued on along the river to Lynmouth and Lynton. Arlington Court is close by as are the steam trains at Woody Bay Station. All wonderful places to visit. We were fortunate to have warm sunny days and enjoyed sitting out on the patio at the cottage enjoying the sounds of the river. We had a wonderful week and hope to return again in the future "

- "I'm afraid I had to request other accommodation due to the filthy state of the apartment, this was accommodated because I was willing to travel to Cardiff. The flat is in need a of full refurbishment. I wouldn't suggest it if you are looking for a quiet stay as this is located in the middle of student houses and the rest of the property has students in it as well. I was rather disappointed as I wanted to walk to where I was working every day. I must say however that the apartment I was given in Cardiff was wonderful! It was very close to the Bay and the city centre, there was parking for one car. It was small but compact an great for one or a couple. The drains however could do with a good clear out as I used the washing machine and the smell that arose from the drains and in the kitchen sink was foul, I did however try and clear it out with lots of kettles of hot water. The lady that dealt with my query and my move was lovely and very apologetic for me having to move so hopefully the apartment in Swansea has been cleaned and sorted. "

Our place is a charmingly quirky seaside cottage, decorated with handmade bespoke furniture created from locally found driftwood. Set right in the heart of Croyde we've got views front and back of open fields and quaint cottages.
The Manor Pub is across the road and it's a 2 minute walk along the stream to Blue Groove, Billy Budds, The Thatch and the local shop. Take a 10 minute walk and you'll be on the beach!

The space
Octopus Cottage offers you a choice of two bedrooms (one with ensuite shower/sink). Both rooms have wardrobes and benefit from blackout blinds/ curtains.

There are two separate lounges both with TVs.

The main lounge is at the front of the house. It has a log burner which you are welcome to use during your stay and logs/kindling etc is sold at the village shop. It has a large sofa, comfy armchair and a dining table with seating for four people. This lounge is open plan with the kitchen.

The kitchen has an oven, hob, fridge (small freezer compartment only) and a dishwasher. It is well stocked with cutlery, crockery, pots and pans etc. We also provide complimentary tea, coffee and sugar, as well as salt and pepper.

Through a hallway from the kitchen is a family bathroom with shower/bath, toilet and sink.

The second lounge has access to the back garden, deck and outdoor dining area. This room has a sofa bed so could be used as an extra bedroom for a 5th guest. It also has a breakfast bar with seating for five people. There is a wooden shuttered hatch which opens into the the kitchen allowing you to serve food or just be social while cooking. Alternatively you can close the shutters for privacy if using this lounge as a third bedroom.

The back garden is south facing so benefits from the sun most of the day, whilst the front garden gets the evening sun and beautiful sunsets.

The back garden is lawned and also has a wooden decked area with 2 lounger chairs, a picnic table, BBQ and also a washing machine area and long washing line. It backs onto a large tree lined field in which we've seen deer, badgers, buzzards and owls.

The front garden is also lawned and benefits from an inner balcony area with a rocking chair.

At Baggy Point there is a National Trust car park with tea rooms in a beautiful walled garden for all your cream tea and crab sandwich desires. Baggy Point is a very popular walking/running route whether it's the short circuit to the end and back or all the way round to Putsborough. Both can be done as circular walks. At Down End car park (on your way into Croyde from Braunton/Saunton) there is the Down End cafe which serves fantastic Sri Lankan food which can be eaten there watching the surf or as take away.

Croyde Beach is not open to dogs in the summer but they are very welcome at both Saunton Sands and Putsborough Beach which are about a 7 minute drive away. From Saunton Sands carpark you can access the UNESCO heritage site of Braunton Burrows which are beautiful rolling dunes and wild flower meadows perfect for long dog walks, butterfly and bird watching.

Braunton has lots of shops and cafes plus Tescos, Cawthornes and Co-op plus the Surf Museum, skate bowl and a very popular pump track. Lee Bay is a short drive away as are Woolacombe, Morthoe and Ilfracombe which are all worth a visit if you have time and want to explore further a field. Other day trips might include The Big Sheep, Ultimate Adventure, North Devon Wake Park and the Milky Way which are Bideford way or past Ilfracombe are Watermouth Castle, the Valley of the Rocks, Lynton and Lynmouth and Exmoor.

The bedroom has a king size pocket sprung bed. There is a built-in small desk, wardrobe, drawers, a TV and there is wifi and plenty of parking on the drive.

The shared bathroom has a bath with shower gel and shampoo supplied.

There are tea/coffee making facilities in room and you are welcome to use the spacious kitchen.

The sandy beaches at Saunton Sands, Croyde Bay, Woolacombe and Westward Ho! are nearby.

Bicycles/surfboards can be stored in the garage.

The space
The original manor burnt down and the new one was built in 1939. It has previously been owned by a holiday park owner and has subsequently been a second home to someone in the music industry.

There is a large kitchen diner with fridge freezer, washer and dryer and the essential kitchen appliances.

There is a paved and sunny patio with table and chairs and a raised lawn area all south facing.

A car is desirable.

Large camping space with access to a bathroom as well as use of hot tub (additional charge applies), barbecue and fire pit.

Price is for up to 4 adults. Additional guests will be charged on arrival. You will have exclusive use of the space, with no other camping guests during your stay.

Must love dogs. We have 5 very friendly dogs who you won't be able to avoid interacting with. We are a working smallholding with chickens, ducks, lambs, goats and pigs. Well behaved dogs are very welcome

The pitch is on a slight slope and there is some background noise from the nearby North Devon Link Road.

We can provide a power socket right to your tent if needed.

Guests are welcome to use our fire pit area, as well as the hot tub for an additional charge.

The bathroom is for exclusive use of camping guests during your stay, and we provide towels, hand wash and antibacterial gel.

The house is set just off the main street in Morriston, close to restaurants, bars, take aways and cafes, all just a quick stroll away. The bus stop is a 2 min walk and it is a short bus ride to Morrison Hospital, Swansea City Centre and the Liberty Stadium or if you want to explore by car Gower beaches, Brecon Beacons and Dan yr Ogof Caves are 30/45 mins away.

The house has 4 double bedrooms with their own tv, virgin and internet. There is a shared kitchen, living room, utility room with washer and dryer, a downstairs bathroom and upstairs shower room.
We ask that all food cooked or take aways are eaten in the kitchen or dinning room only.

The property is a great location close to Morriston Hospital, DVLA and the Gower with spectacular beaches.

We offer large rooms with a double bed in a great location with easy access to local bus routes, with buses every 10 minutes.

Morriston Hospital and the DVLA are just 5- 10 minutes from the accommodation.

Quiet double bedroom in the old area of Pilton. Walking distance from the town centre, bus and train station. Parking can a bit tight in front of the property but more free parking is available less than 0.1 miles away. Small backyard to park bikes. I share the house with two cats, they are a bit shy at the beginning, but they very friendly once they get used to you. Approximate size of the room: 2.5X3.0 meters.

Full of charm and character, chocolate box cottage located in the heart of Devon, in quiet village. Perfect stop for hikers of Two More Ways and travellers through Devon. It is live in place, so very relaxed and with shared amenities. Great pub locally and tea room in the village.
