- "I had a very enjoyable stay at Seashore. The apartment was very clean, had everything I needed and in a great location overlooking Woolacombe beach. However when I arrived for my stay my key collection was very stressful. It was January and check in time was 6pm onwards so the property was in the dark. Then I had great difficulty understanding how to collect the keys from the safe box for the apartment. The key holder was stiff, there was no explanation how it worked and when I called the property manager for help it went to voicemail. My phone was running flat battery and left me feeling anxious. From this experience I would recommend outside lighting for the property during winter season and an explanation or drawing of how to use the key safe. This will hopefully support other guests who stay at the property. Overall I really enjoyed my visit but stressful to begin with. Thank you Frances from Melbourne, Australia January 2022. "

- "This is a nice property that's had love and care poured into restoring it. The property is however over-marketed (and over-priced) in our opinion. Expedia market as a 'cottage' and the pin shows a central Woolacombe location. Its actually in a holiday/residential park above Woolacombe. The park its in has a run down feel to it and the first impression was of deep disappointment. Once you've moved in then its a lovely property on the inside. The garden is communal - there is no division between 'your bit (nice picnic bench as shown in pictures) and the adjoining properties. Its quiet at night and road noise (road is 20m away) is not intrusive. The location is not convenient to Woolacombe. We cycled and walked down into town. The road is steep and is fine for adults however its the main road to Woolacombe and would not be safe for young children. Its quite a climb back out too. Walking was fine apart from the first 300m. This is again on the road - there are no pavements or verges and did not feel particularly safe - after which there is a pleasant walk past stables and fields into town. There is a bus - however the stop is after the 300m pavement less stretch. You can of course drive down. We were a couple - so did not 'value' bunk beds or the thoughtful games etc provided. If you want a base for exploring the Combes then this works and there are lots a great guest reviews attesting to a good stay."

The Cleanliness had a lot to be desired as well! Mould on every window, paint peeling off behind the radiators and the shower heads absolutely filthy. - "Lovely clean property with enough space for 2 cars on the drive. Good location for a range of supermarkets and other shops. There were a few things missing from the kitchen such as a jug and baking trays and no washing machine but otherwise had what we needed. The only downfall was the garden, there's no garden furniture and it could do with a tidy up but that wasn't an issue for us."

My cosy cottage is ideal for romantic getaways, anniversaries, birthdays or just to enjoy.
Exmoor is virtually on the doorstep and the North Devon coast is not too far away. You’ll love my place because of it's quirkyness cosiness and character and that it is just a short walk from the michelin star pub/ restuarant. There are also lots of footpaths and country lanes to explore close by. So all you have to do is relax and enjoy.

The space
This gorgeous thatched cottage is full of character, low ceilings, uneven walls and beams. There is a michelin star pub/restuarant ( the only one in North Devon) a very short walk away. Please book in advance as it is very popular. A national footpath 'two moors way' passes through the village and the oldest historic church in North Devon can be seen from the window. All in all a charming sleepy little village.

Other things to note
The woods burner must only burn seasoned wood. Definitely NO paper or rubbish must be burnt in the fire. Kindling wood and fire lighters are made available to ignite the fire. Logs are supplied for the first few nights. Wood can be purchased from nearby garage.
There is no garden with this property but you are surrounded by beautiful countryside.
please be aware there is no WiFi in the cottage.
The michelin star pub is closed on Sundays and Mondays.

Dairy cottage is one of two delightful holiday cottages on the Beaples Barton estate
It has been recently refurbished with a clean modern feel. Downstairs there is a fully fitted kitchen and living/ dining room.
Upstairs one double bedroom and twin room with two single beds, bathroom with a shower.
There is ample parking outside of the cottage.

We have easy access to the North Devon Link road and M5.

The space
Beaples Barton is just off the North Devon link road, but as soon as you drive down the driveway you are transported into a peaceful part of the Devon countryside.
We are lucky enough to have easy access to Exeter, the North Devon Coast and Exmoor National Park, part of which you can see from the top of the drive, on a clear day it’s absolutely breath taking.
At Beaples we have private Woodland with many peaceful walks with a variety of wildlife to spot, along with the 2 lakes Beaples is a rural retreat in an idyllic tranquil setting.

We have a BBQ for all guests to enjoy with benches to sit and enjoy the tranquil nature of Beaples Barton.
65 acres of native British woodland that guests are able to use for peaceful walks and the opportunity to catch a varied amount of wildlife.

Other things to note
As the great British weather can be a little unpredictable we suggest that guests if they would like to use the woodland and the grounds around it pack some wellies.
But most of all to have a great time they can just sit back and relax.

Dairy Cottage is located within beautiful gardens, unfortunately Dairy Cottage does not have an enclosed garden where you could just let your dog out. We also kindly ask that guests walk their dogs in the fields and woods for their toilet purposes and not the lawns and gardens in front of the cottages.

Enjoy a relaxing stay in 'Lyncroft' our beautiful Grade II listed 15th Century cottage. Two bedrooms; one twin room and large master bedroom with antique four poster double bed. With plenty of exposed beams and inglenook fireplace this cottage exudes character and history with all the modern comforts. Sunny south facing small garden in the front. No smoking; Not suitable for children under 5 years; No pets. Due to age of property people with mobility issues may find stairs a little difficult.

Easter Cottage is a stone built terraced house between the pretty village of Berrynarbor and the town of Ilfracombe. There are beautiful sea views from bedrooms 1 & 3, and from the rear garden, with the Brecon Beacons / Pembrokeshire on the horizon. We have a small spa with a free standing bath in our seaward facing garden room.
In the front garden are coffee table/chairs, and in the rear garden table & chairs and summerhouse.

The space
The property is a traditional stone built cottage believed to date from the 19th century. The house has recently been modernised with new appliances, new flooring, furniture, WiFi, and upgraded central heating, together with installation of PV solar panels and pressurised hot water tank.

On the ground floor are sitting and dining rooms, kitchen, the bathroom and bedrooms are on the first floor.

At the back of the house we also have a garden room looking towards the sea, featuring our mini spa with free standing bath.

There is also a utility cupboard to the rear of the spa, with freezer and washing machine.

At the end of the rear garden is our sea view summer house.

Bedrooms 1 and 2 feature vaulted ceilings with exposed trusses, whilst the living room and dining room have exposed beams.

In detail :

The living room is provided with a Smart TV and a DVD player, large sofa and two armchairs

The dining room has an oval table with seating for up to 6

The kitchen is equipped with a Zanussi induction hob cooker, microwave, toaster, kettle, and fridge with freezer compartment. There is a washing machine and clothes airer in the garden room (accessed via the rear garden) which also has space for storage of surfboards, wetsuits, bicycles, etc.

The bathroom features generous newly installed shower; electric towel rail.

Travel cot and stair gates are available if required.

Accessibility : Ground floor access and movement is step free. There is one step up to the rear garden lawn. All bedrooms are on the first floor, accessed via the stairs.

Bedroom 1 the master bedroom is double aspect with rural inland views to the south over farm and pastureland and sea views to the rear. It is furnished with a Superking bed, wardrobe, and dressing table;

Jasmine cottage forms part of a courtyard of 9 holiday cottages, converted from original farm buildings. It is set in large grounds, with games room, tennis court and grassy areas to walk your dog on lead. At certain times of year there is an enclosed grass paddock to walk dogs off lead but this cannot be guaranteed, as it is occasionally used for grazing horses. The cottage is a short drive to the beautiful Woolacombe Beach and the harbour town of Ilfracombe.

The space
There's no escaping the fact that Jasmine Cottage is quite compact, but then we firmly believe that size isn't everything. Perfect for a couple or a family with one or 2 young children, the cottage offers all you need for a cosy relaxing stay.

In the bedroom, a top quality kingsize mattress and 400 thread Egyptian cotton bedding ensures a comfortable night's sleep, and the chaise longue, a great place to relax with a book, can be converted into a single bed for the smallest member of the family. We do not provide cots or highchairs as we would not be able to ensure that they met all health and safety requirements, so you would need to bring your own.

In the bathroom there is a bath with shower over, so you can relax your aching muscles after a long walk or a day in the surf.

The lounge has a table and chairs for cosy mealtimes and a sofa, comfy chair and footstool for relaxing in front of the 40 inch smart TV.

The fully equipped kitchen has a hob, grill, oven, microwave and coffee machine (pods provided) and a fridge with a freezer box.

The cottage is situated approximately 1 mile from the beautiful village of West Down, which has a pub and convenience store. The South West Coast Path and Tarka Trail are within easy reach and the fabulous award winning, 3 mile long, dog friendly Woolacombe Beach (yes it's our favourite place!) is only 6 miles away. A 20 minute drive will take you to the beautiful Exmoor, with stunning walks and delicious pub lunches.

Jasmine Cottage is very dog friendly. We provide mats, dog bowls, throws for the sofa and of course a few treats for your four legged friend. Our only request is that you don't allow them on the bed.

We really hope you will love Jasmine Cottage as much as we do. We have furnished the cottage with comfort and relaxation in mind and everything in the cottage has been carefully chosen, including artwork and crafts from local artisan makers, to give a real North Devon feel.

All grounds are communal. There are plenty of outside seating and eating areas in the gardens and paddocks surrounding the cottage. Please note that the games room is not dog friendly. If your pet can be left safely in the cottage while you use the games room (preferably crated), we are happy for this to happen as long as they will settle and not disturb other guests.

A roomy and bright cottage. The main room is furnished with a leather sofa, chair, log burner and smart TV. The dining table and chairs are at the window to make the most of the views across the garden and ponds. There is an arch to the large well-equipped kitchen. Upstairs the bedroom with king-size bed leads to the ensuite bathroom with a shower over the bath. Downstairs can be interconnected to Nymet Mews to provide extended family accommodation. There is a patio set and BBQ available.

Number Two Corffe Cottages offers reverse level accommodation. On the ground floor there is a double bedroom and a second bedroom with adult-sized bunk beds. In the refurbished bathroom there is a large bath with an overhead shower and a WC.

On the first floor there is an open-plan kitchen/dining/sitting room. The kitchen includes an electric oven and induction hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. The living area is furnished with comfortable chairs and flat screen TV with DVD player.

NB it is not possible to fit a cot in the double room
