- "It looks small on the outside but there was plenty of room for all 8 of us. My husband and I stayed in a king room upstairs and our boys took the other king room upstairs. That way we for could share the upstairs bathroom with our kids. My sister-in-law and her family took the downstairs. Tonya provided so many things! Towels, sheets, toilet paper, dish detergent, laundry detergent, some little check in snacks and drinks and so many little things that you might’ve forgotten. The lake is a quick little walk away. There was even a wagon to help take things down to the lake. The pier is large and is shared with 7 other houses. There was only one day that we seen anyone else on the pier. It was a great little trip! We would stay again. "

The owners have every piece of equipment in the kitchen we’ve ever needed but we were lazy this time and didn’t cook very much."

This lake front property has unobstructed lake views with a spectacular 19’x22’ screened porch that includes a queen size Restoration Hardware daybed for ultimate relaxation and an outdoor TV and fire table. The deck includes a grill, outdoor dining, and s’mores fire pit. The home is located on a very quiet, family-friendly street with lots of yard to play in, a covered shelter for dining closer to the water, and a private street pier shared by only 7 homes total. My home comes with a dockie water mat for kids to run and play on in the water, a sand beach area, several floats, and a boat buoy provided if you would like to bring your boat or jet ski! There is 1 kayak on site for use, TVs in each room, comfortable linens and beds, and a Mrs. Pacman arcade cocktail table with 12+ games and some board games in case of a rain shower. There is a peloton bike in the master bedroom. You won't ever want to leave! Sorry, no pets and no exceptions. Parking for 4 cars maximum with a 10 person maximum including children at one time per HOA rules and quiet hours from 10pm-8am. Please keep alcohol to a minimum and only at the home and not the public areas. No smoking inside or outside the home or on the street, and no pets of any kind allowed. Responsible renting only with no parties or loud groups allowed. Hot tub is not in service. Summer 2025 rentals require a 5 night rental minimum.

- "This house did not disappoint. It was so beautiful. All of the reviews were accurate. We found the owner to be amazing and quick to answer all of our questions. The house could not be more beautifully decorated, but the real beauty was the outside porch. You don't even need to go inside. The water was perfect for the kids and our mom who never gets in loved that she could touch. We got to meet Jim from next door and just sending enjoyed chatting. We can't wait to come back."

Our home sits on a private street just a few houses down from the lake. We share 2 private/community piers and a small beach which is great for sunbathing, swimming and playing!

The space
Our Cottage is very spacious ! The den is surrounded with large wrap around windows and provides plenty of light. The Master Bedroom and bath are located on the main floor and there are two more bedrooms on the top level of our 3 story home. We have a very comfortable screened in porch and a lovely wrap around open porch with comfortable loungers for sunbathing.

Guest access
Bluewater Cottage has a carport that accomodates 3-4 cars. Our home is a very short walk (about 5 houses ) down the street to the beautiful White Lake where we have not 1 but 2 private/community piers for your enjoyment!

Would recommend more towels and maybe trash bags but everything else was good!" - "There are always two things you can never tell about a property until you get there. And that is: how comfortable the beds are, and is the property properly temperature controlled. I’m happy to report that this place has both a comfortable king master bed, and cool comfortable atmosphere; even in a triple-digit heat wave! We cooked (or grilled) dinner at the house every night and had no problems with needing equipment or utensils. The house is a very acceptable distance from the lake and there is a nice covered area with chairs and a swing. We actually broke down on our way home just outside of town and the owners very graciously offered to let us stay at the property while we waited for our tow. If we ever come back to White Lake we would definitely try to stay here again."

Huge front yard with firepit, picnic table, and plenty of space for yard games and the kids to run and play. The whole group will be comfortable in this spacious and unique place.

This is not a party house. Parties are not permitted. We have good neighbors who live here year around and we want to be good neighbors. Quiet hours are observed between 11 pm and 8 am.

We have a 17 month old and the beach area would have been nice for her-the house does have a sandy area, but we would have enjoyed the water entrance for her better. There are so many trees when entering the water here that it wasn’t safe for her to get in and walk around towards the shore-but still doesn’t change our opinion of the stay. This house has so much to offer; the view is beautiful, the yard is so spacious, the kids loved having the kayaks & paddle board, they loved the bikes, we all enjoyed the fire pit, and just sitting on the porch. The beds are AMAZING, we all talked about how comfortable they are. Robin was a great communicator and answered all our questions quickly. The house was clean and very well kept. 10/10 recommend staying here-we will definitely be back!"

A very cozy 4 bedroom 2 bath 1800 sq. ft. Lake House at White Lake in Elizabethtown, NC. The house sits feet from the lake and the community dock. The rental includes an enclosed front porch/mud room with wrap around windows and has 2 separate living units and 3 flatscreen TV's with Cable/Internet. There is a pool table and a screened in porch. Beautiful knotty pine walls and ceilings. Private street with a private community dock. The end of the dock faces west to capture breathtaking sunsets.

We provide 4 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. We have 2 Queen beds and 2 Full Beds. Our first living room has a large couch and 2 oversized leather chairs for seating . We provide a large 65 inch ROKU Smart Flatscreen TV on the wall above a cozy faux fireplace . Towards the back of our home we have a large gameroom with a pool table, extra living room and electric fireplace that acts as a TV Stand for our Flatscreen ROKU Smart TV. We have a patio for grilling and a large screened in back porch where we provide great seating and a propane fireplace.

We enjoyed the back porch, cooking on the propane grill, the pool table and the space. The hot water heater was superb for 4 adults and 2 teenage boys. The neighbors were friendly and kind to us while we were there and even included us on the pier in their activities. We would love to stay over and and over at this property! The owners and the property exceeded all of our expectations."

Older and smaller, but very comfortable with updates and extra touches to make your stay enjoyable and memorable. Bedroom 1 has King bed, Bedroom 2 has Double Bed, and Bedroom 3 has double bed bunk beds. Our community offers not just one but two piers with a small beach area in between. Enjoy a large screened in porch to relax after a day at the lake. Or kick your feet up on the reclining sofa in the living room and watch a movie on the Smart TV. Yard offers plenty of shade and room for parking. Home offers fully stocked kitchen for preparing meals, comfortable beds and room to spread out.

Not to mention, the lake is just a short walk down a paved street. The home was immaculately clean. It is older (like a lot of places at the lake) but extremely well-maintained. The huge screened in porch was amazing. We had a blast and thoroughly enjoyed having such a nice and comfortable place to stay. Host was super easy to work with. Although we had absolutely no problems during our stay, I have no doubt that the host would have helped in any way possible. We would definitely stay here again!"

The house was great for a group as it had a lot of beds and bathrooms. It was in a great location and the view and dock was beautiful. We were able to get in a practice swim the day before right off the dock. The property manager, Susan was the best and checked in on us regularly to make sure we had everything we needed. Guests have access to all of the Lake home except the attic.

All bed and bath linens are provided. There are many games, puzzles and a gaming system in the living room. Fully stocked kitchen of cookware. There is also a kayak available to all guests to enjoy. Our HOA does have a strict 6 person limit on people who can spend the night in the condo. Please feel free to contacts us with any questions.

Plenty of parking available.

Take it easy at this comfy, cozy cottage three (3) houses back from the lake. There is a peek-a-boo view from the giant screened porch, perfect for sipping coffee or cocktails. Play in the yard, ride bikes, get on the water with the stand up paddle boards and enjoy the small, quiet, private street pier.

The space
There are three bedrooms - one king, one queen and two singles. This comfy, cozy cottage sleeps six in real beds. All bedrooms have new mattresses, fresh linens, and plush pillows. There are two full bathrooms both fully stocked. There is a comfortable den/living area with a large TV but there are no TVs in the bedrooms (it's a lake thing;) Enjoy kicking back on the large screened in porch anytime of the day, grilling out in the backyard, or Star-gazing on the end of the pier which is fabulous any time of the year.

Parties are not permitted. We have good neighbors who live here year around and we want to be good neighbors. Please observe the quiet hours between 11 pm and 8 am. Please respect our property and their neighborhood.

Guest access
The whole house is yours during your stay! There is a shed in the backyard that you are welcome to use if you need to store bikes or anything else. Help yourself to the two stand-up paddleboards (SUPs) and the cruiser bike that is there. For easier and closer access to the lake, the SUPs are now located on the back of the shed that you pass on your left as you turn into gate at purple yard art flower.

Guests will have access to the private street pier and direct lake access for SUPs (provided) or your own kayak or canoe put in.

Other things to note
Parking is tight on the property with no real driveway. Please parallel park in the grass, street side of the house and overflow in front of the screened-in porch. Three to four cars should fit.

Especially during the off-season and when possible, we’re happy to offer early check-in/out at no extra charge to you.

The private pier is yours and yours alone. There is a boat lift available if you are bringing a boat. There are 3 stair entrances to the water, safe for all ages to feel comfortable getting in the lake.

There is a grill, fire pit, and picnic table all by the edge of the lake that you are welcome to enjoy during your stay.
