There are five miles of wooded nature trails to enjoy privately. The property is five minutes from Interstate 30, one hour south of Little Rock 35minutes from Hot Springs. - "We arrived in the middle of the night, after flying all day long, & had absolutely no problem getting into our cabin! The management had even turned on lights inside which made it feel very welcoming. The cabin is exactly as advertised and felt roomy for 4 adults. Our cabin was clean and they supplied us plenty of towels. My niece’s son came and slept on the couch for two nights (he was learning to fish) and rated the couch as “extremely comfortable.” Iron Mountain Lodge was very responsive to all our questions and requests—they were very accommodating to all of our needs. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend Iron Mountain Lodge to both family and friends. P.S. For “fishing gear” (when teaching kiddos who’ve never fished), Iron Mountain Marina has reasonably priced gear and bait (& you can buy a two-day Arkansas fishing license online). Iron Mountain Marina also supplied terrific spot-on suggestions about “where to fish”—our 14-year-old great nephew had a blast learning “how to fish” for his first fishing experience. The space
Kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils for meal prep. Table setting of glass dishes are available as well as paper products. Coffee, tea, and sweeteners provided. Extra linens, small fans, and portable heaters are stored in bedroom closets.

Guest access
Guests may access front portion of pantry. Broom, dustpan, mop, iron and ironing board, card table, and extra chairs, trash bags and limited cleaning supplies are here. Back portion is the owner’s section.

A regular coffee pot and popcorn popper are in the kitchen. Additional appliances such as a Keurig are in the dining room armoire.

Stackable washer & dryer are on the sun porch. Detergent is in the wicker chest. A drying rack is available and can be set up.

Double doors open onto the deck with seating. Guests may use chimenea located on the deck. Please be sure fire is safely extinguished. A lighter is in the sun porch cabinet.

Guests are invited to relax in the colorful hammock.

The WiFi is sufficient for basic tasks. However, it is not adequate for working from the house.

Check out instructions are on the refrigerator. Leave the beds unmade and towels in the bathroom tub. Wash and put away dishes. Carry out trash and place in black trash can by the deck. Leave the key on the kitchen table.

The space
This little depot was once the heart of a popular roadside attraction. The "Iron Mountain Miniature Railroad" was the dream of James and Shirley Barker. The little train brought joy and great memories to children and their families as it traveled its scenic route. The ride started and ended at the depot where ice cream and other goodies were enjoyed. In time, the train and its rails were moved from this location. James moved on to become an engineer for the Arkansas Midland Railroad. This renovated depot has become a quaint guest house. A walking trail follows the route the little train once traveled. A comment we hear often is that guests wish they had more time here. Recommend booking at least two days to immerse oneself into the environment.

Access to six acre walking trail. Property borders a small horse ranch. Walking trail overlooks a lovely lake. You are welcome to observe, but not enter. The lake does not belong to us. We are only two miles from the lower lake which provides excellent fishing opportunities. The beach is just two miles north of us, on Lake DeGray.

We pride ourselves in providing a nice, relaxing sanctuary as-well-as a destination where "your vacation dreams come true". We hope that you will take advantage of the out-of-doors. We have a checkerboard on the picnic table, a horse shoe pit and secure area for a small campfire. Bring hot dogs and s'more fixin's. We also provide an outdoor grill. We do not allow pets or smoking inside premises, due to guests with allergies.

Built ca. 1908, this home is an easy walk to beautiful downtown Arkadelphia shops and restaurants and is just blocks from Henderson and OBU.

The space
The master bedroom, with a king-sized zero gravity adjustable bed, is downstairs off of the sunroom. There are two bedrooms upstairs, each with a queen-sized bed. All 3 bedrooms have a smart TV.
The sunroom is perfect for lounging or reading or just watching the birds in the yard. It has a full-sized sofa bed for extra sleeping space. There are also two twin sized futons upstairs to bring the total to 10 guests if needed.
Both bathrooms have bidets and tub/shower. The downstairs tub is jetted.
The patio has outdoor furniture, a firepit, a grill, and an indoor area that we call the Tin Goose with TV, refrigerator, table & chairs and other furniture.

1850 log house on 35 acres with a 9 acre lake and private hiking trails. The house has 2 bedrooms with queen size beds. Each bedroom has a full bath with a walk-in shower. There is a washer/ dryer, full kitchen area and attached carport with a ramp. There is a porch on 3 sides of the house to relax outside and enjoy the beautiful scenery.

Our property is in the country, but only 5-10 minutes from town and excellent restaurants. We are also 15 minutes from DeGray State Park.

Unwind and soak up the natural beauty at our charming riverfront cabin, your perfect escape from the daily grind. Perched along a quiet stretch of the Ouachita River, this rustic cabin offers peace you won’t find in the city.

Wake up to the sound of the flowing water and sip coffee on the covered deck with river views. Spend your days kayaking, casting a line from the bank, or simply lounging by the water in the private swimming area. The stars shine brighter out here and so will you.

The space
Riverfront and peaceful but still close to all of your basic needs(grocery stores, gas stations, and dining).

The cabin is a two bedroom, one full bath with a fully equipped kitchen and living room. You will also have access to an additional 500 sf building connected by deck next door. This building offers a half bath and extra space for eating, games, lounging, and a futon mattress. There is an outdoor shower connected to this building making it easy to rinse off after a long day at the river.

There is a play area for the kids (swings and seesaw) and private access to a perfect swimming area right on the Ouachita River. This swimming area is also great as a launching or landing spot for kayaking or floating, which makes it super convenient for a float trip, but you’ll need to bring your own kayaks/floats. Also keep in mind that since there’s no shuttle service on this part of the river, you’ll need to either:
• Bring two vehicles (one to leave at your take-out or put-in spot), or
• Arrange for someone to drop you off or pick you up.

If you’re looking for a more turnkey option, the Caddo River is a great choice! There are several outfitters in the area who will shuttle you and your group, and many offer kayak, canoe, or tube rentals. Just be sure to check the river levels before you go — the Caddo can get too low or too high to float.

It’s a gorgeous stretch of both rivers and totally worth the effort — just plan ahead!

When you enter the home you will find a large living room with electric reclining love seat, queen sofa bed, and Roku tv. Attached to that is the fully stocked kitchen. It has a long butcher block bar with 6 chairs. There is an abundance of dishes, spices, and cooking utensils. The downstairs master bedroom has a king size bed, Roku TV, ceiling fan, dimmable lighting, and a large walk-in closet. It has a nice size bathroom with a bidet, and a large walk-in shower with dual shower heads. The other downstairs bedroom has a king size bed, Roku tv, and a work desk with printer. Attached to it is a large bathroom with tub / shower and a large walk-in closet. Above that room is a large loft. It is accessible by climbing a ladder. When you first enter the loft there is a twin trundle bed on your right. The back of the loft is separated by shelves. In the back of the loft there is a king size bed and a Roku tv. Across the living room there is another loft that is accessible by climbing a ladder. It has a full-size bed and Roku tv. Out back you will find a large lighted deck with a table, chairs, and a grill. The back yard also has a privacy fence.
