With a freestanding 90cm oven and gas cooktop, microwave, mixmaster, large fridge and dishwasher, you have all you require to cook up a feast to share together at the 12 seater dining table. The pantry has all the basics (and often more!), including oil, salt and pepper, tea, coffee and sugar.

The open plan living area features an inviting slow combustion wood fireplace, stylish furniture, with a comfortable relaxing feel. All the required mod cons are also available with flat screen TV, DVD player, ipod docking stereo unit and a reverse cycle air conditioner.

The master bedroom features a queen bed, en-suite containing double shower with 2 rain heads, cast iron freestanding bath, and TV. French doors open the bedroom up to the decking area taking in regional views of the Berry dairy country side.

Drawing Room Rocks is not to be missed. These are the best directions to find where to start your ascent:
Take Woodhill Mountain Rd (north side of the village), drive 6.7 kms and you will come to a T intersection, you are on the top of the T and turning left would take you to Kangaroo Valley via Wattamolla.
Either park your car here at the T-intersection, or there is limited parking 500 metres away at the true start to the walk (at the cattle grid).
From the T-intersection, walk or drive 200 metres to a right hand fork in the road (do not take either of the right-hand driveways which are near the T-intersection), it is then 300 metres to the cattle grid. From this point it is a steady walk upwards until you reach the lookout where the view and rock formation are stunning.
Your descent will be much quicker than the ascent.

ABOUT THE HOUSE:

Belairberry is a spectacular heritage cited Mid Century pad, probably one of the most photographed in Australia, It is located right in the main street of Berry, a short stroll to Berry’s quaint cafes and boutique shops, a 10 minute drive to some of Australia’s most beautiful beaches, a 15 minute drive to the serene Kangaroo Valley and an hour North of Jervis Bay.

Belairberry has an 11m pool with enclosed landscaping for adults and children to enjoy. The pool is visible from the kitchen and lounge as well as the upstairs terrace.

The accommodation consist of a 7 double bedrooms (2K 5Q) and 5 bathrooms, 4 self contained units without common walls, 2 upstairs on the terrace and 2 in the garden. Downstairs is a 3 bedroom house with one double sized bathroom and no internal access to upstairs. 4 single beds can be made up on request bringing the total number of guests to 18, comprising of 14 adults and 4 children.

The house is suitable for family reunions, corporate getaways and small celerations. The property's layout allows for separate and private sleeping arrangements, with easy access to large common areas, and plenty of outdoor spaces, and spaces you can simply escape to away from everyone. ABOUT BERRY:

Berry is a historic town located in the rich dairy fields of the South Coast. It is an easy 2 hour drive from Sydney and 3 hours from Canberra.

Berry is in the heart of it all, a 10 minute drive takes you to Shoalhaven Heads, the gateway to Gerroa and Seven Mile Beach National Park, where you can find walks, lagoons, swimming holes and surf breaks. Berry is only a short drive, over Berry mountain or Woodhill mountain to the lush landscapes of Kangaroo Valley, which features incredible scenery for hikes and drives, river swimming holes, wineries and a historic town centre. An hours drive takes you down to the pristine waters of Jervis Bay National Park, which features the most beautiful and untouched beaches in Australia. The area is also famous for its wineries, fresh produce, artisan bakeries, cafes and restaurants.

A cleaning fee of $200 applies to all bookings. We also require a bond of $1000, which will be refunded after the property is inspected.

School holidays and public holidays incur a different price and minimum number of nights.

Bookings require a 50% deposit and are non refundable, on cancellations less than 30 days. In the event of COVID-19 restrictions tightening, and the purpose of the stay not allowed, a full refund will be given.

The owners of George-on-George have made every effort and invested to make you feel like you are really on holidays in a home you would be proud to own and share with your friends.

Extremely comfortable king and queen beds with high quality linen in five bedrooms… all with lovely outlooks. The four upstairs bedrooms are spacious, with modern fittings, luxurious carpet, all with built-ins and each one fully independently airconditioned. Two very large bathrooms, one with a double-shower and the other with a huge spa service the upstairs bedrooms. On the ground floor there is another bedroom and a study which can double as a bedroom. There is further bathroom and a separate guest powder room on the lower floors. Cots are available on site.

A large two car lock-up garage is available for guests. Also available are the many games, books, bikes, table tennis table, toddler pool and other little touches that have been included to make any George-on-George getaway a real experience.

And the garden is special … classic fountains, fruit trees, classic pines, an arbour, a herb and vegetable garden, a fish pond, a basketball half court, tiered gardens and lawns everywhere and the fire pit. The garden seems constantly filled with birds … there is even a resident Bower Bird in a hidden corner.

• Unfortunately we cannot accept dogs and cats of any size as we are located in a nature reserve. As such we have no fences and an abundance of wildlife including wallabies, kangaroos, echidnas and birds as well as several bee hives (well located away from the house in the bush).

• Please note that our dams, whilst 500m from the house, are not fenced and it is the responsibility of the guest to ensure that small children are adequately supervised. Likewise, the spa does not have a pool fence but lockable lids.

To ensure your privacy, the barn has its own separate entrance to the right of the barn doors.

Plenty of parking is available across the road (where we sometimes park too) as it’s on vacant land.

During your stay, one thing you won't have to worry about is packing your own linen. We provide all the sheets, blankets, and towels needed for a comfortable and worry-free stay.

We want you to be able to fully relax and enjoy your time here, without the hassle of bringing your own linen/toiletries.

However, we do want to make you aware that while we strive for a peaceful atmosphere, our main house is home to a teenager or 2 sometimes and two dogs (one of them is my older daughter’s dog who has moved out now). They will probably excitedly bark on your arrival but they are just wanting you to say hello and give them a pat. They are very friendly dogs (despite their guard dog personas at times ha). Rest assured though, this keeps our neighbourhood super safe.

If you're looking to watch TV during your stay, please note that reception can be limited at times. Nonetheless, we hope your stay is restful and enjoyable.

Relax in the comfort of the air conditioned bedroom with a blackout blind and shutters for long sleep-ins. The super comfortable queen bed is fitted with high thread count linen and feather pillows. Fluffy bathrobes and hot water bottles have you covered for chilly nights. Travelling with little ones? We can provide a porta-cot and high chair too.

The heated bathroom is adjacent to the kitchenette located in a gauze-way area leading out to the back porch (a gauze-way means it opens to the outside veranda via a gauze door only - always lots of fresh country air in the kitchenette!). Please note that the bathroom is accessed via the breezeway kitchenette. As mentioned, the kitchenette door is gauze so it can be fresh in there during the cooler months. All other rooms have solid lockable doors and heating.

The compact kitchenette comes complete with microwave, compact bar fridge, kettle, toaster and sandwich press as well as a Weber Q gas BBQ just outside on the rear verandah. The kitchenette is fully stocked with cutlery, crockery, glassware and utensils for preparing light meals. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate are provided along with a small bottle of milk.

You are most welcome to wander out into our extensive garden set on half an acre to meet our hens at the bottom of the garden. You may also meet our cavoodle, Charlie Mae, running around the backyard - no doubt she will be desperate to meet you! Children (and grown-ups) are welcome to play on the tree swings.

The apartment is under the same roof as our family home but has a separate entry and your own private living space and courtyard. The sitting room shares a common wall with our home. Please be aware that there will be some daily family activity noise audible when using this space.

If we're home, you will be greeted upon arrival and then left to your own privacy. The Rosebud key can be found in a lockbox near the apartment's front door with the access code provided the day prior to arrival. Of course should you require our assistance or advice at any time during your stay we are here to help.

Berry is a picturesque, historic village just two hours drive south of Sydney. Nestled under the mountain escarpment and just 8 km from 7 Mile Beach, it's the perfect escape from city living.

Located on one of Berry's favourite, quiet streets, Rosebud is just a short walk to the main street filled with cafes, restaurants, and shops. It's only one block from the village pool, weekly farmer's market in addition to a monthly craft and produce market, and also close to the train station.

We have grown up in Berry so we have extensive knowledge of the village, surrounds and its people. From where to hike, ride, paddle or swim to the best eats in town, we've got it covered.

The Loft has 3 large full length picture windows which you see on entry. These provide a light feel and yet the white plantation shutters offer privacy.

The kitchenette contains all the essentials with a small fridge and a compact microwave. A Russell Hobbs toaster and kettle, along with serving ware is provided for your use. Complimentary teas and plunger coffee are available along with basic condiments. The eat-in nook is just the spot to plan for the day. The decorator items include antique kitchenalia.

The sleeping area is separated from these facilities via a doorway and has two soft tub chairs with a coffee table for you, as well as the lofty elevated queen sized bed. Petite side tables and bedside lights on the walls cast a warm glow.

The rain showerhead in the bathroom gives this a luxury feel, as well as the space itself. Extra towels are in the vanity unit.

- Bedroom 2 is comprised of 1 x King bed and one set of King single bunk beds
- The garage isn't accessible for guest use, there are three spaces in the driveway and road parking is available
- The pool is not heated. Please keep in mind for pool usage.

- Please note that we supply a number of basic pantry items at each property. We are, however, unable to guarantee the availability of all pantry items. 3 toilet rolls are supplied per bathroom. You may wish to bring additional supplies with you.
- Internet in regional areas can be inconsistent and uninterrupted supply is not guaranteed. We will not provide compensation for failure or unexpected unavailability of internet services.
- Whilst the majority of properties provide access to streaming services, guests may be required to log in via their own accounts.
- Please note that firewood is only supplied from May to September.
- Fencing: Whilst the property is fully fenced at the rear, there are small gaps in the fencing outside the small picket fenced area with the fire pit. Pets will need to be actively supervised outside of this area. Front garden unfenced.
- Air conditioning: The property has air conditioning in the living area, rumpus room and bedrooms 1 - 4.
- This is a families only property and only permits a combination of adults and kids up to the maximum capacity. No groups of adults are permitted unless an intergenerational family group. Please specify this if booking more than 8 adults.
- We welcome responsible guests that will not cause disturbance to our neighbours.
- For our pet friendly properties, pets are welcome inside but not on furniture or beds.
- After booking you sign a rental agreement. Please contact us prior to booking if you'd like to view a copy.
- No schoolies, parties, bucks or hens groups are permitted.
- We reserve the right to request photographic proof of id such as driver’s license or passport.
- NoiseAware is a smart home device that measures volume levels throughout the property (it does not record speech) and allows us to respond to noise issues. NoiseAware is 100% privacy compliant and is required on this property. If you have any questions, please ask.
