My property is a rare find in the lower keys. Nestled in the middle of the Key Deer Wildlife Refuge. This house is located 30 miles northeast of Key West. The property consists of three full lots at the tip of Doctor's Arm Peninsula. Please take a look at the aerial photos to see the space you will have during your stay. Don’t forget to bring your camera as Key Deer travel through the property daily. My home has 2 bedrooms 2 baths with one king size bed in the master bedroom , one queen murphy bed in the living room, and two twin beds in the guest bedroom plus a pool and heated downstairs shower. The 50 foot concrete dock is ready for your boat with fish cleaning station and approximately ten feet depth. Cable TV , Netflix, and WIFI is included. There are TVs in each bedroom and living room. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking and there are plenty of towels.

Excellent location 2 bedroom 2 bath home with a 65 ft sea wall on wide canal in Big Pine Key. This is a perfect location for boaters. A marina with fuel docks is located at the end of the canal. Hopefully you won’t need it, but Boat U.S. is across the canal. The canal is the very easy to navigate and less than a 5 minute cruise to the channel. A tackle store is at the end of the street.

Outdoor amenities include a locked downstairs storage room, large bait freezer, fish cleaning table and more! Also included are a brand new gas grill, a charcoal grill, 3 kayaks, 2 paddleboards, 3 bicycles and water toys. There is plenty of parking for vehicles and a boat trailer. The location is very convenient with a fuel dock at the end of the and a tackle store just a few houses down from the house. Shopping and restaurants are a short bike ride away.

The interior has many windows for views of the canal and is freshly painted. The open floor plan creates a great space for conversation and traffic flow. There are two bedroom suites, one with a queen bed and the other with two double beds. The kitchen appliances are new as is the cookware and dining ware. The living room furniture is very comfortable. The dining table has six seats but is large enough to accompany a couple more and is a great place to play the included board games or puzzles.

The house has two screened porches. The upstairs porch wraps from one side of the across the entire back of the house and is a great place for sunset views. The downstairs screened porch has an additional dining table. There is also an outdoor shower. The enclosed area downstairs has a second refrigerator, a bait freezer, washer and dryer and plenty of storage.

We have 70 feet of dock space for your enjoyment.......but the greatest thing about the house is its proximity to open water. No winding through tiny canals and under low bridges to reach the Atlantic or backcountry.

Big Pine is centrally located to lots of attractions, including a turtle hospital, a dolphin research center, a state park, and beautiful beaches. Key West is only 30 miles away!!

The only negative point I can say about this house is the stairs, which make it hard to carry up a month-long supply of clothes, food, etc. (But stairs are required for all these homes near the water, understandably, so that couldn't be avoided.) Overall, this is a great rental home in the Lower Keys and I highly recommend it."

Our 75' dock is only a minute from the open waters. You can easily access beautiful islands and fishing of Newfound Harbor. Just south of Little Palm Island Resort is a wonderful fish sanctuary. If you continue further south, you come to famous Looe Key Reef for some breathtaking snorkeling. Or you may choose to head north and explore the beauty and serenity of the back country. As you head home, tie up to the dock and Kiki's Sandbar Grill. They have outdoor waterfront dinning with tables spaced safely each with wonderful views of the Channel. Also, they have nightly entertainment. There is plenty of parking on our property to accommodate cars and boat trailer. We have a 28-night minimum, and you will relax and enjoy every minute. PEAK A BOO BAY VIEWS & QUICK ACCESS TO THE OPEN WATERS; GULF & OCEAN. We’d like to share our home with you. It’s a very spacious and clean 2 bedrooms, 2 bath home with an over sized master bedroom & bath. Cathedral ceiling in spacious living room that includes a queen size sleep sofa.

Home is bright & airy. Wide, open covered deck with wrap around walkway. Home is on a 50ft wide canal and is just off of the Bogie Channel with easy access to the Gulf and Atlantic. Great fishing, lobstering, kayaking and diving. Concrete dock, fish cleaning station & fenced in yard.

There are many activities and lots of fun in the sun for the family, i.e. Dive or snorkel off of Looe Key Reef, great fishing, lobstering and spearfishing. Visit Bahia Honda State Park or even take a ride to Key West, which is only 31 miles away. Enjoy Kayaking, Canoeing & Paddle Boarding too! National Key Deer Refuge is also in Big Pine Key, you will be greeted by our tiny island key deer which you will see roaming around everywhere, so please be careful of them as they cross the roads.

Also be sure to check out the beautiful white sand beaches at Bahia Honda State Park and the National Key Deer Rescue. There, you can see the tiny – and very cute – wild deer known as Key deer, about the size of a large dog. The kids will love it and so will you. You will also enjoy our seafood and you'll find some of the nation’s best seafood restaurants here and on nearby keys.

While we have some toiletries and pantry items for your personal use, please plan on supplying your own.

There are 2 international airports that you fly into; either Key West International which is approximately 30 miles away or Miami International which is approximately 100 miles away. If you decide to fly into Miami International Airport and drive the 100 miles thru to The Florida Keys, expect the travel time to be approximately 2 hours. We have 1 road (Overseas Highway) that goes thru our Beautiful Keys with a speed limit of 45 to 55 the majority of the way and sometimes 35 if your driving thru Big Pine Key at night. Although the trip will take you some time, it will be a very breathtaking trip as you travel thru the different keys with the view of our beautiful blue/green waters. Be sure to make some stops at the different gift stores that we have, i.e. Shell World in Key Largo, Lunch at Key Largo Fisheries in Marathon, the Lobster Rueben is delicious and don't forget to get a piece of Key Lime Pie for dessert. As you make your way thru Marathon, there is a Publix Grocery Store & a Kmart if you need to stop for any necessities, fishing license, etc. There is also a Winn Dixie Grocery store just down from your rental too. As you enter into Big Pine Key, please be careful of the Key Deer as they do roam the key freely.

You'll find relaxing, water-borne activities. So Come dip your toes in the water and have some fun in the sun!!

Our family's canal-front stilt house sleeps up to 10 and is located in the Doctors Arm neighborhood of Big Pine Key. It's within walking distance of the somewhat famous No Name Pub, and is 30 minutes from Key West.

Bring your boat! It's a short trip out of the canals to open water. Great fishing on Bogie Channel between Doctors Arm and No Name Key. How about a peaceful paddle through the mangroves? Two kayaks and a canoe take you to the back waters. Into diving? It's a short charter trip out to Looe Key coral reef.

Ride one of our bicycles through Key Deer country, hike the lesser traveled roads of No Name Key, or take a stroll around Blue Hole. Maybe you'll just want to sit with a good book on the screened porch overlooking the preserve, enjoying the view. The location lends itself to breath-taking sunsets and typically has prevailing breezes off of the water.

Looking for a white, sandy beach day? Bahia Honda State Park and Recreation Area is only a few miles away.

IMPORTANT POLICIES FOR YOUR STAY:


Age & Occupancy: The booking tenant must be 25 years or older and must occupy the property for the entire duration of the stay. This property is exclusively available as a vacation rental and not for worker housing.


Peak Season Monthly Bookings: All bookings from December through March must be for the entire month, starting at the beginning and ending at the end of the month. Consecutive months may be booked if they follow this requirement. Bookings that do not adhere to this policy are subject to cancellation. If you are interested in alternative dates, please contact us for approval before booking.


Pet Policy: Pets are strictly prohibited within the property to maintain a pet-free environment for all guests.


Smoking Policy: Smoking is strictly prohibited to maintain a smoke-free environment.


Mid-Stay Cleaning: For stays of 28 nights or more, we reserve the right to require a mid-stay cleaning to maintain the quality of the property. For longer stays, a mid-stay cleaning will be required every 28 nights thereafter. The cost will be collected separately, and the number of cleanings depends on the length of your stay.


Boating & Dockage Advisory: Due to bridges and varying water depths, it is your responsibility to ensure that your boat can safely navigate local waters, access the canal, and fit the listed dockage before booking. While we are happy to provide general information based on our knowledge of the area, guests must exercise extreme caution when boating and ensure all activities comply with local regulations.


Local Wildlife & Pest Control: The Florida Keys are home to various insects (mosquitoes, no-see-ums, termites), reptiles, chickens, Key deer, and other wildlife. While routine pest control is in place, complete elimination is not possible. Guests should take precautions, such as using insect repellent and keeping doors closed, to minimize exposure.


Construction & Renovation Notice: Due to ongoing growth in the Florida Keys, renovations, construction, and road repairs may occur without prior notice. While we strive to provide a peaceful stay, iTrip Key West is not liable for any inconveniences caused by nearby construction.
