We enjoyed after dinner conversation on the rooftop while the kids enjoyed the hot tub. Rodney answered all of my questions in a timely manner and offered great suggestions on local restaurants. We had an amazing time. The property was clean and well stocked. Everyone enjoyed many hours at the pool as well. We basically had the beach all to us. The Imperial River is less than a 5-minute kayak ride away! Bonita Spring’s best beaches are only 4 miles away and Naples Vanderbilt beach is 8 miles away.
The guest suite has a separate entrance and ample parking for up to 3 cars or an RV. Our guests will have the entire suite to themselves and full access to the pool, outdoor shower, grill, 3 road bikes, 4 Tommy Bahama beach chairs in addition to the water sports equipment detailed above. There is a designated washer and dryer specific to this unit only available to guests, not shared with the owners.

NOTE:
This is a single story, single family home. Your suite will be the entire left portion of the home that consists of two full baths, caterer’s kitchen, a master bedroom and living room with a pull-out couch. The pool and dock are shared with the owner. Both owners work full-time and are rarely use the backyard area.

The backyard is incredibly peaceful and the location provides access to all the best of what South West Florida has to offer!

No loud music, parties, or late-night loud conversations by the pool or dock allowed. We try to be very respectful of our neighbors, it is a quiet neighborhood.

All occupants must be 5 years old or older. Certain exceptions will be allowed upon request. All children should be watched carefully around the pool and dock at all times.

Rent responsibly and at your own risk. The owner shall not be responsible for any incidents. The renter is responsible and liable for any damage to the property.

All cars need to be parked on left hand side of the driveway. Please do not block the two car garage.

We stayed three nights while dropping off our college student and enjoyed a dip in the pool and outdoor shower each night to cool off from the August heat. Checkin was easy, instructions were clear for how to access everything too. I only needed one short communication with the owner and he responded immediately…I appreciate that a lot in VRBO owners and I VRBO a lot. I’ll be using this spot again when visiting our daughter. - "A nice long weekend on the beach in Southwest Florida." - "Sunshine and beach"

Dolphin House is located on Little Hickory Island, surrounded by the Gulf of Mexico and halfway between Naples and Fort Myers. Private residences only are permitted in this section of the beach, and the lack of crowding testifies to this. The beach is 150 feet west of the front door and is teeming with ocean life, especially in summer. May through August is turtle nesting season, with tracks and nests dotting the shoreline. Shelling and bird watching is excellent here also with heron, egret, eagle, osprey, pelican and gull all present. The gas heated, screen enclosed pool provides a private place to relax after enjoying the beach, where the gulf water temperature in summer is 87 degrees Fahrenheit. Dolphin House is ideally located for a morning walk on the beach or taking in the evening sunsets.

Area attractions: Many activities are available in the local area, including parasailing and jet skiing available at the beach one half mile away. Paddle board and kayak tours are available within 2 miles of Dolphin House, and pontoon boat rental is available also. Corkscrew Swamp, an 11,000 acre preserve run by the Audubon Society is a 45 minute drive east. Alligator, birds, fish and snakes are observable in their natural environment from a 2.5 mile boardwalk through the swamp. The Jay Ding Darling Wildlife refuge is 25 minutes north up the beach on Sanibel Island and offers excellent views of migratory water bird life. Naples is 15 minutes south by car with numerous restaurants, museums, a fishing pier and shops. Ft Myers is 20 minutes north up the coast and also has a fishing pier. The Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) is a 25 minute drive from Dolphin House.

House details: Dolphin House has been completely remodeled and updated in 2023. Everything is brand new, spacious and comfortable. Convenience is afforded by the fact that everything is on one level. Two bedrooms in the house have glass doors facing out to the pool area. All glass in the house is hurricane rated, so this provides for a much quieter interior as well as enhanced privacy. The shower in the master bath is a walk-in, and the second bathroom has a full bathtub/shower. The A/C system is new, cool and quiet. We have two televisions, a large screen in the family room and a second set in the master bedroom. All new furnishings including furniture, bedding, appliances, linens and kitchenware. The yard is very large and sits next to a newly built mansion. There is a grill so you have plenty of room for a barbecue! There is a shared laundry room downstairs but everything else is private. Everyone that walks in says ''Agh, we would like to stay here''. I hope you will enjoy it too.

Close to Beaches. We are new to VRBO 5 Years Highly Ranked (Superhosts) on Other Platforms. This house was completely renovated in 2020, It has large spacious kitchen sub zero refrigerator and large living room. Full size Washer and Dryer & Appliances. The Living Room has a beautiful View of a Pond Beaming with Life, Turtles, Ducks, Egrets & Fish. The House sits by itself on a very large cul-de-sac. Private back yard with a privacy Fence and Pond, for your use. (No shared areas.) Guests say pictures do not do this unit justice.

NOTE: This house has a mothers in law suite it is separate and has its own AC, Bathroom Ect. The two can be rented out together.

The property is located in Bonita Springs Florida which is right in the middle between Fort Myers and Naples. We are located about 5 miles from the beaches 3 miles to a huge outdoor mall and one mile from the beautiful downtown Bonita Springs.

The space
The house is a single family dwelling on a lake and it has a mother-in-law style apartment with 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom private space. The kitchen and the living room or shared. The lake is definitely not swimmable or no boating, just scenic. We do have small dogs 4 to be exact. 822 year old Yorkie and 3 long hair Chihuahuas.

No matter where you are traveling from Southwest Florida international airport is only 26 miles from your oasis. This bedroom is only less than a mile away from beautiful Bonita beach, just a quick bike ride west. It has a fully equipped kitchen that's will make it easier to cook up that fresh Florida fish you just caught. Take your dinner under stars and cook it up on one of our grills, we have either electric or charcoal. Then enjoy your food under some tiki lights and music. As the night takes over observe the stars from the hammock and relax in the beach breeze.
There is many new adventures within walking distance of this rental. Just on the corner are amazing bistros and wine bars. Just a half mile east of the house is Safari mini golf, put your family up to it and see who comes out on top. Test your luck at the Bonita- Fort Myers dog track and casino, offering 24/7 live tables. At the beach you can give your hand a try at volleyball or rent a jet ski and take a ride on the wild side. Take a night out on the beautiful Billion-dollar city of Naples, it is only a few short miles away. Naples offers a beautiful downtown food and shopping district as well as Mercato shopping center that is only 7.1 miles away from the house. After a hot day in the Florida sun, you can stop by royal scoop homemade ice cream for a delicious treat, it's only 1.3 miles aways from home.

I will be always be available to you during your stay. There is 3 bedrooms. 1 occupied by my mom on her late 60's she has her own bathroom, and own back exit and work every day all day as a companion care giver. my husband and I, in secund bedroom, we are in our early 50's, and the 3erd bedroom is yours and we share batroom. The house is a shared space the kitchen, bathroom, living-room, and back-yard. This house has the perfect tranquility to make your vacation relaxing.

Only a short car ride will take you to all the beautiful islands, Florida has to offer. You have fort Myers Beach, Sanibel Island, Marco Island, Estero Island, and Cape Coral. These islands offer the very best of Florida to explore, along with Florida state park like wiggin-delnor state beach, Lover keys state park, big cypress swamp sanctuary and. There is everything from fine dining to swimming with dolphins. Take the scenic route down Bonita Beach Road to Fort Myers beach and see what Florida has to offer. Go down the road to Sweetwater adventures and learn how to catch deep water fish and take them home to grill up in the backyard.

We are only 10 minutes from the interstate highway with all the international cities close by, Miami is an hour and half away 137 miles, Tampa is 2 hours away 152 miles, Orlando is 3 hours away 178 miles and Tallahassee is 6 hours away 418 miles.

Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally located place. The beaches on the gulf are only a 10 minute drive away. Many shopping and dining places to choose from. Easy access to rt 75 and the airport. This is city living in a very private setting.
This Master suite is a beautiful space with a large closet, cozy chairs & dressers. There is mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker.
The second room has a day bed, dining table & TV.
There is a step between the 2 rooms.

The space
Our home is the last house on the right as you go to the end of Harold street. There are palm trees on both sides of the driveway and a huge pine tree above them. We have a camper parked at the back of our driveway. You will park in front of the garage. We usually have 2 vehicles here. You will have to back out carefully to turn around. it's ok to back into the lawn, just watch for the obstacles behind you.
Walk to the left of the garage, to the back of the house. There is a latch on the inside of the gate. Lift the catch and the gate swings inward. We have a nice yard that you can enjoy. This is Pebbles, our Boston Terriers' yard. I would like to introduce you to her. She is bossy and will bark but is very loving when comfortable with people. We have created a movable fence around the entrance of the AirBNB so that you do not have to worry about Pebbles.
If you arrive after dark we will leave lights on so that you can find your way. The keypad on the doorknob should light up when you touch any number.

Guest access
The entrance to your suite is at the back of our house. You will park in a space left in front of the garage. You will walk on a path at the side of the house, through a gate into the yard. You will see the entrance to the suite as you turn the corner.
The yard is a shared space with the owner. we have created a temporary barrier in the yard to make it more private.
By using the keycode for entry you can access the suite privately. Let us know if you need assistance. We live on the other side of the house. We are often home but can be contacted through the AirBNB app or cell phone.
