Walk to everything, lots of bars with live music, lots of shops, lovely pier to stroll on, and right across the street from the beach! Pool clean and uncrowded. The noise from the stereos of the cars and motorcycles were annoying, but expected. We just didn't think bikers liked Black-Eyed Peas so much to blast them on their Harley stereos. It made us laugh, so thanks bikers. We had a clean room, with enough amenities to make this a more-than-satisfactory stay. The parking attendants were a great source of information, as well as always polite and courteous. In regards to the beaches, the local beach access was not crowded by any means. There are more "hot spot" beaches to access up and down the island, but during the Covid pandemic, we didn't want it to be a part of the spread. One beach that is not at all crowded was at Bean Point. Go there to get away from the crowds, and enjoy some ocean life. Plenty of schools of fish, and some starfish, to see. Starfish are most likely covered in the sand under the shallow waters, so you may get lucky to see one, as we did. It slowly buried itself in the sand beneath, which was cool to see. Most restaurants had a 1-2 hour wait, with few having reservations. We ordered to-go from Wicked Cantina to save on time for one meal. Daiquiri Deck was good, and had great service. Bamboo Island Bar had great food and drinks, and excellent service, worthy of date night. Some restaurants we avoided as not all staff wore masks. Great vacation spot. We'll be back! Thanks!"

Private bedroom and shared bathroom in a newly renovated house. Situated in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance to downtown Sarasota and Bayfront park. 12 minute drive to Lido Key beach.

The space
The bedroom has full-size bunkbeds, a closet, a desk with a chair, a microwave, and a mini fridge. It is located on the second floor and the bathroom is on the first floor. You have to walk through the main living area to get to the bathroom. The bathroom is shared with us, but we don’t use it much as we have the master bathroom.

You may use the kitchen for some light cooking, such as the occasional sandwich or smoothie.

Me and my husband live here with our toddler, and we both work from home. We can get you a good deal on a rental car during your stay with us. Message for more info.

We just want to be honest and upfront so that guests can make an informed decision. We have smart thermostats in this house that will cool to 76 degrees. During summers our feels-like temperature can easily be over 100 plus degrees.

Our neighborhood is very peaceful and quiet and our neighbors value this peace and quiet. Any loud music or noise after 10pm will likely be met with law enforcement. We want to be as upfront as possible with you to make sure that this home is a good fit for you.

Outdoor security cameras are in place to help monitor the property. We have a total of two camera for this unit. One camera is at the entrance of the property and the other is in located in the parking area. Pets are permitted but there is a 20 lbs weight limit.
