Enjoy staying at this one of kind beach bungalow for your special occasions or just a family fun retreat. Built-in 1930, historical Florida charm, this adorable quaint home with lots of character has much to offer starting with the pristine water of the Sarasota bay just steps from the front door. Enjoy a morning coffee while looking out over the bay. Easy access to the quaint community beach and boat launch are great for a quick dip or going on a kayak adventure. It is a public boat ramp, so it can be busy at times, however, there is limited parking and people typically drop their boat in the water and go, we have found it fun to watch the people. We are also across the street from Mar Vista restaurant, extremely convenient for dinner, but has restaurant traffic. The noise ordinances on Longboat Key prohibits live music etc, so it stays fairly quiet. We continue to upgrade the property, but it does have its quirks due to age, for example, the switch in the bedroom closet turns on your living room lights. We personally love the little quirks of the past.

A shopping plaza, Avenue of the Flowers, is just down the road, offering a wine and liquor store, breakfast restaurant, bar, and pizza restaurant. High-quality Municipal Tennis Courts are nearby and a four-foot-wide sidewalk extends for most of Longboat Key with seven to eight miles for jogging, rollerblading, walking, and biking, and walking your dog. One can also walk Longboat beach for the same distance, and shelling is a favorite activity.

There are also bike lanes on both sides of Gulf of Mexico Drive for extreme bike riders. Longboat Key is a very upscale barrier island that is connected by bridges to Anna Maria Key to the North and St. Armand's Key and Sarasota to the South. Sarasota Airport is an easy 15-20 minute drive and Tampa International Airport is an hour's drive North.
Less than 2 miles from the famous and lovely St. Armand's Circle. Walk or take the Trolley or park in the many spaces provided.

- "We stayed in this lovely condo for the month of March, 2022. We found the condo just perfect for our needs. When we arrived we were greeted by Teresa, one of the owners, who showed us around, highlighting where things were, how things worked, making suggestions for restaurants and answering our questions about the area. She concluded the tour by presenting us with a “Welcome” gift basket of fresh fruit and invited us to call or text if we needed anything. The unit is pleasant and comfortable, tastefully furnished in a contemporary style and decorated with interesting artwork and accessories. The dining area overlooks the patio, which has with lounge chairs, a table, a grill and large, beautiful potted plants. The bougainvillea, hibiscus and birds of paradise were in bloom. The condo is centrally located to about anything we wanted, whether on Longboat Key, St. Armand’s Circle, Sarasota, or Anna Maria Island. The beach, very short walk away, is beautiful and to our pleasant surprise, was never crowded. The sunsets were a must see. We met a few of the neighbors, some renters like us, and some full-time residents. All were very friendly. We are hoping to return the next time we visit Longboat Key!"

Our home is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath newly remodeled home located right off of Gulf of Mexico Drive. A small public beach access is located (2 min walk or less) right across the street. Everything you need for your winter stay is here in beautiful Longboat Key. We are also within walking distance of the LBK Publix. Our home has two bedrooms, both with TVs, fans and queen size beds, a beautiful open living room/dining room (that also has a Murphy bed) and is located in the perfect part of LBK; minutes away from St Armand’s circle. There is no pool, but we do have a back yard (not fenced in) and a small patio.

Pets that are completely housebroken and under 50lbs are allowed - but please note they are to be on a leash at all times if outside and dogs are not allowed on the beach per city laws.

- "Club Longboat is an easy, relaxing stay. The unit had updated baths and laminate “hardwood” flooring which is so much cleaner than carpeting. Kitchen needs updating. Easy access to a small fitness area and beautiful beach. Super close to Harry’s restaurant, deli and corner store which are all wonderful and chill. The two terraces were always full sun so we unfortunately couldn’t use them. Needed tables with umbrellas. Staff friendly and helpful. We’ve stayed at Club Longboat many times and will again!"
