The house is exactly as described - nicely renovated, clean, and well stocked with everything you need for the perfect beach getaway. The home has a comfortable lay-out, great lighting, and we all enjoyed the pool/lanai area. My 10 y/o son especially loved the ping pong table. The home is located in a quiet location but close to the beach, downtown and grocery shopping. We enjoyed the local beaches and had a great time looking for shark teeth. Sharky's was a fun spot on July 4th and we watched the fireworks show from the beach. Metro diner is nearby and great spot for breakfast. Tom is a great owner who has thought of everything and is very responsive to any needs or questions. There is a good chance my son will be back in Venice next summer if that happens - we can't wait to book the Lemon Tree House again! Thanks Tom!"

Amazing location; less than a mile to restaurants, shopping and grocery. 2 bed 2 bath (2 additional semi-private twin beds in the lanai that has central air) with heat pump heated screened in pool and FREE WIFI. Quiet friendly neighborhood just minutes to beaches and downtown Venice where you can shop during the day and listen to great music and dance the night away on the weekends. There is always something happening in the area.

We have included most kitchen amenities (Keurig, regular programmable coffee maker, waffle iron, pots and pans, microwave, toaster, coffee grinder, blender, iron and ironing board). There is a washer and dryer. You will be your own dishwasher for the time being so we supply paper plates and bowls. There are nice ceramic dishes that you can also use. Venice Villas is a two-story condo complex with several efficiencies/studios on both floors. It consists of studios either in the front or back side of the building. My unit faces directly the beach and is on the ground floor. The unit's door opens directly to the beach entrance with unblocked views and is just steps away from the beach/sea. I included a photo with the view from the unit. The Gazebo is where the beach starts. Approx. (less than) 2 min. walk to reach the sea. It is also the closest to the wonderful semi-Olympic size pool.

Conveniently located approx. 75 minutes from Tampa Int'l Airport and accommodates ideally two people. The living and bedroom area in the same room just like a comfortable and nicely decorated decent size hotel room.

The unit has a kitchenette with two burners, a smaller size fridge with freezer compartment and basic cooking utensils. There is free high speed wifi installed in the condo.

The location of the studio is midway between the fishing pier and downtown - both around 15 - 20 minute walks away. For those who are familiar with Venice - my favorite is strolling in downtown Venice or walking briskly on the beach 20 minutes to Sharky's (A beach side restaurant), watch the sunset with a margarita and walk back.
What do other's do? They search for historic shark teeth, sun bathe, swim or fish - right from the beach.

Venice is a short drive from Sarasota - another similarly affluent city with well developed arts scene, the Ringling Museum, Botanical Gardens and a variety of fine dining options... A quick online search can provide more details.

For those travelling overseas - Orlando (2 hrs), Naples (1 hr), Miami
(3 hr) are all great day trip options... St. Petersburg and Tampa can be reached within less than 90 minutes. For shoppers, in addition to local Venice boutiques, Ellenton Factory Outlet is also a short drive away (approx. 20 min.)

This is ultimately a "beach" place for those seeking serenity and enjoy Florida activities from fishing to fine dining...

Welcome to a little piece of paradise in the South!

- "First off the host reached out and informed us that we could check in early and that wasnt the last we heard of him. He promptly replied to a question we had about the cable TV and the rest of the week he regularly checked in on us to make sure our stay was perfect. The unit had everything we needed for the weeks stay for me and my wife and also included some extras in the form of supplies used in our hunt for fossilized sharks teeth which is the main reason we went to Venice in the first place lol. We found 130 teeth and couldn't be any happier. Reviews told us that Casperson Beach just a couple of miles south was the best of all Venice to find shark teeth. Well.. we went and we quickly realized that the beach we are staying at had A LOT MORE... so dont waste the trip. The beach is only a 2 minute walk and we are used to having to take elevators, stairs, etc.. just to get outside of the resort so it was VERY comforting to know all we had to do is step out the door and walk in a straight line to get to the beach. The water is very clear and I was able to see fish and rarer shells that hadn't made it to shore yet while snorkeling. There is a shower and sprayer to rinse off when you get off the beach also. The almost Olympic sized pool was as clean as it could be and was refreshing and relaxing. There is also a shower and sprayer in the pool area. This was a perfect spot for a vacation for me and my wife and the unit was perfect in every way and we will definitely be back"
