Lovely Casita in the beautiful Island of Venice. Perfect for 1 person or 2 with a pet. Fenced yard, 2 blocks from the beach, 4 blocks from gorgeous downtown. Great shopping & restaurants are a walk-away. Churches, grocery store, post office, library, tennis courts nearby, just like Mayberry in the 1950's but next to the beach. Friendly people, lots to do. Home of The Legacy Trail bike trail. We own an ebike store, so you get a voucher for a 1-week rental for 2. Total remodel summer of 2022.
The space
Our Casita is a two-room building, with 2 private entrances, private patio, fenced yard, lots of vegetation, and a private drive-way. It's about 400+ sq. ft: 1 bedroom with queen bed, small bathroom, and one living area with a kitchenette, good for small meals, but not for a gourmet cook.

The beachside city of Venice, named for the elaborate waterways and canals that cut throughout, is one of the most beautiful places to visit in Florida. The buildings and boulevards were designed with the Italian city in mind, and Downtown Venice is a wonderfully preserved example of historic architecture. Just south of Sarasota along Florida`s white-sanded Gulf Coast, is 14 miles of clear waters. The city actually houses some of the best beaches in the country including Venice Beach.
The space
Please note that this space is for two adults and children. The set up is not well-suited for more than two adults.
This newly renovated apartment is great for any family. Accommodations include a main bedroom with a queen bed, as well as another space for the kids with two twin beds. Free Hulu-with live TV, on every TV. The apartment is upgraded with smart devices, so all you have to do is ask Alexa to turn on the lights!
This property is a multi-lot 1/2 acre piece of land. It has two apartments and a main home. Each space has its own private entrances and parking. The apartments are on opposite sides of a large building, on different floors, are separated by a two-car garage and share no walls.
We have a security cat, who watches over the property at night.
Guest access
The apartment is all to you and your guests! Please list any and all guests. Copious day light during the day, and at night draw the blinds and enjoy the comfort and privacy of this space. There is a common area with a pool, cabana with TV, grills (gas & charcoal) , patio dining area, multiple sitting areas, sun loungers and a fire pit (during winter). Please keep in mind you will be sharing these common areas. As such, we ask that you clean up after yourself and your guests, so that others may enjoy the area as well.

Beaches, beaches and more beaches! Venice, beach, Manasota Key beach and a dog beach, all within minutes. Enjoy downtown Venice, 10 minutes away.
